If I could give J Carnes Roofing and Son six stars I definitely would. We met with Neil for the initial estimate for the job. He was great explaining all the materials that would be used and the entire scope of the project.Once we decided to go with J Carnes Shannon was wonderful keeping us up to date with the scheduling of the project. The whole process was very professional. Shannon sent us information about how to prepare for the job including videos detailing the entire project.The crew were amazing working a twelve and a half hour day to complete the project on time and in one day. They left our yard like they were never there. They even went above and beyond replacing a bathroom exhaust fan vent cover that had been damaged during a wind storm.I gladly give J Carnes and Son Roofing five stars and highly recommend them for any of ones roofing needs.Please see some pictures I added of the roofing project

Outstanding work! A crew arrived to set up one morning and a dumpster arrived shortly after. Crew was fast, clean and efficient. Shortly after the job was complete, the property was clean and the dumpster was gone. Another crew installed new gutters the next day. Project managers kept us informed from the start of the process through completion, providing written documentation and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. 5 Star Work All The Way!

J Carnes and Sons just finished the installation of a new roof for my home. Jade, the project manager, clearly explained the procedure in detail and the timeline. On the day of installation, the team doing the work started at7:45 and worked until the job was finished. The team was the hardest working group I have ever seen!! Ken and Chris came by several times during the install and checked in with me to see if I had any questions. Everything went according to plan with no surprises. The roof is beautiful and looks even better that I hoped! Also, the office staff was very easy to work with and helpful. I would highly recommend J. Carnes and Sons to anyone needing a new roof.

J.Carnes have an amazing team. I am so happy I trusted them to replace my roof. The communication was thorough and efficient. When I had concerns someone was available to talk to me and reassured me. I appreciate that I was shown a photo where the problem was. He took a piece of shingle that was worn out and explained to me what happened. They let me know that there may be additional cost. The whole process was smooth. My new roof looks amazing and now I have peace of mind.

We have now used J. Carnes & Son Roofing twice. We chose them to do our house about 3 years ago. Job was so well done that two of our neighbors hired them as well and I have referred a few others as well. Everyone has been happy not only with the job and products but their crews are wonderful. Nice people, work extremely hard and very clean (which I think is amazing considering how many nails and roofing bits and pieces there are). We just hired them again for our barn and shed. Carnes Roofing is legendary on the Seacoast for a reason: they get it done on time, and they do it right. Our job involved the re-shingling of various roofs on the house, and installation of skylights and gutters. Based on quotes we got from other companies in the area, Carnes' pricing is definitely competitive. The planning and prep for the project was meticulous and involved multiple visits to the property, and innumerable phone calls and texts. Great people, and always easy to deal with. Our project manager, Neil, was outstanding in thinking through and resolving a fairly complicated set of issues. All communications with him and with Shannon in the office were timely and responsive. Kenny and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, checked in with us a number of times while the project was underway, and did a great job cleaning up the yard--you wouldn't have know they'd been there except, well, everything looked new! Carnes seems to have the whole roofing process down to an art--highly recommended!

Working with Neil as project manager was a very good experience. Excellent communication, thorough initial estimate with inspection of existing conditions. I was adding front porch onto house and J Carnes helped integrate the new roof into the rest of the home and aligned our timeline with theirs. Our old roof was leaking and they adjusted their schedule to accommodate. After the majority of work was complete they were very good about fixing a couple of areas that needed to be addressed. I requested an estimate for a roof replacement, an appointment was scheduled and the estimator showed up on time, explained the entire process and provided a detailed estimate after using drone technology to view my roof from above. The outstanding customer support doesn't end there; the office staff provided continued communications to guide us until the project was completed. They met all deadlines on time, completed the project in one day and left my property the way they found it. excellent communications from start to finish. Jade gave a very competitive price. The crew, led by Ken, did an excellent job. The roof was small, but roof boards and clapboards had to be replaced. the crew did a professional job cutting the clapboard to the roof line, as this roof was in between the house and barn. the staff kept us apprised of all schedule changes due to weather. Everyone from Jade, Jill, Ken and Christina did a great job and I highly recommend them. Very satisfied customer.

The project was scheduled to start at 7 and the team showed up at 6:50. That pretty much set the tone for the way these folks work. The experience with this company from start to finish was quite pleasant. There was excellent communication from all personnel, and the very few questions I had were answered promptly and completely. I feel obligated to give a shout-out to our project manager, Jade, who provided all of the necessary assurance that this was the correct company to choose. If you need roof work, these guys are the real deal!

What a positive experience! From the first estimate to the final install, the professionalism, the frequent contact, the timing and the crews were excellent! Neil was communicative and knowledgeable about the product. The estimate was detailed and the contract spelled out everything to be done. We've been renovating our house for over a year now and getting the roof and gutters replace by J Carnes was by far the easiest and best contractor we've worked with. Our house was left cleaner than when they found it, the communication was great (even given weird and unpredictable weather), and the crew was professional and courteous from start to finish. They flew a drone over my house to get pictures and address all the issues that my roof had. I had heard that the cost would be significantly more than the other bids but they all came in very close. Amazing! The installation ran like a well oiled machine from beginning to end. J Carnes is very professional. They keep you well informed through the process, using marketing materials, emails, videos, and of course, visits and phone calls. Everything was completed in one day. The dumpster and remaining materials were remooved the following morning. And, they were less expensive than the other quotes we received.
