We hired Elite to restore a three story turn of the century non profit museum that had a fire in May 2020 and extensive water and smoke damage. We worked with Mike Clark at Elite who led the project team and hired and supervised.the sub contractors . The restoration was a complex and difficult one and took place during the height of the 2020 pandemic. Most every wall, celing and floor needed to be replaced. Michael was always responsive, responsible and and communicated well to all parties. The project came in on budget and on time and change orders were dealt with fairly and efficiently. We were allowed to bring in our own subs for a couple parts of the job seamlessly. Elite removed and safely stored all our furnishings and equipment and returned everything in the same condition it left in prior to the building reopening in January 2021.Mike also did a great job dealing with our insurance company, which made our job much easier. Mike helped turn a difficult situation into a very happy ending for us and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mike and Elite again.

I can't honestly comment on their work as they were doing work for a neighbor across the street. However, I can say that for whatever reason they were compelled to park in front of my house blocking my mailbox and leaving car doors and back of trucks open so debris was blowing in my yard. They unloaded their equipment at the bottom of my driveway and parked on my grass as well. (My husband goes to great lengths to keep our yard immaculate). When I confronted one of the workers he was very hostile and aggressive and I should have called police as I even started locking my door throughout the day out of fear from his temper. Imagine, next day I found a screw in my tire. I called the company 2 times and spoke to who i believe was owner when he came to check site, (not looking for anything monetary) and sent them all kinds of pictures and not one professional from office even called to offer an apology. I would never let them in my house.

I wish I could give zero stars for this company. This company did a horrible job in my parents condo. They installed the wrong color floor. My mother ordered light oak to match the existing flooring in her house. They installed gray and badgered her that she had to keep it. She even told them it was wrong before they installed it, but they installed it anyway. Now it doesn’t match and they won’t make it right. Not only was the floor color incorrect, but it was installed with huge gaps, which they had to come back for, but still has a large gap by the toilet. The ceiling looks horrible. It looks like lumpy unprofessional work. My mom found the people installing the ceiling watching a YouTube video on how to replace the ceiling. The damaged part of the ceiling was never cut out and replace properly. They broke her shower head, which she had to replace at her own cost. They cracked her vanity. They did not do the work that they were supposed to do. The work on this job is completely unacceptable. Also, going over the bill, she was charged hundreds of dollars for things that weren’t even done. I believe this company saw that my parents were older and have taken advantage of them. Unbelievable!

We experienced a devastating house fire in March 2020. It was the beginning of a global pandemic and we didn't know what to do as a young couple who just lost their first house... Lucky for us Elite Construction was there and able to take on rebuilding our demolished home. Shane and the team were extremely helpful in getting us what we needed from our insurance company to get our home back to where it needed to be. It was a long road with a lot of challenges that came with covid and just rebuilding in general. But despite everything we were able to move back into our home in Feb. 2021 and we couldn't be more happy with how it all came together! Huge THANK YOU to Shane, Dave and all the Brians (lol) who helped us get our home back!

We were very happy with the work that Elite Construction did to restore our house after a kitchen fire. The kitchen was seriously damaged and needed to be totally restored. Because of smoke and water damage, the dining room, living room, basement, and several bedrooms needed to be cleaned and repainted, with new doors, new stucco on the ceilings, etc. Frank Tambone did a good job handling the financial aspects and translating the insurance claim into a construction plan. Shawn Hysette was the project manager, and worked closely with us on all the details of the work and the scheduling, which got to be very complicated because of long, fluctuating wait times for appliances and cabinets, shortages of workers, and other supply chain issues in the era of COVID. Shawn helped us roll with the punches and keep the project moving forward. We also developed great confidence in Eggy (last name?), whose crew handled carpentry, painting, and many other tasks with great skill. Throughout the process, we felt that the people at Elite were focused on making us happy, and the result exceeded our expectations.

We had a huge tree fall and crush the back half of our house. Elite did an AMAZING job with the reconstruction (no wonder they were a preferred contractor for our insurance company). The work was high-quality, and the contractor kept us informed about the process and the schedule. Elite also got us significantly better prices (the replacement for the back door, etc.) than we had been able to get for an earlier update to the house, even though this reconstruction was done during the supply-chain disruptions of 2021. Highly recommend!

Elite Construction did great work putting our finished basement back together after recent water damage. The painting of the walls, ceiling and baseboard replacement was done with such attention to detail. We had electrical extras and carpet replacement. Each worker was professional and helpful. The work was completed in a timely, efficient manner. The room looks beautiful, exactly as we expected. Totally pleased!

Elite Construction was recommended by the restoration company that helped clean up after a commercial kitchen fire. we needed to replace the entire ceiling in the kitchen and adjacent rooms. They provided professional and knowledgeable carpenters that met a very tight timeline, as well as excellent craftsmanship. We were able to reopen the kitchen within a week of the fire, well ahead of other time estimates. I would highly recommend Elite Construction to any of my associates, friends or family.

We had major soot damage to our home and had to do quite a bit of work to make our house livable again. We were lucky enough to have Shane from Elite Construction on the job. He was super helpful guiding us through the process and was always there to answer our calls when questions came up and trust me there were a lot. While we were watching the firefighters put out flames, my wife and I were clueless - what do we do now? About that time, a "chaser" handed my wife a brochure describing ServiceMaster/Elite. "Proof of the pudding" I thought, can they get an electrician out to turn power back on?They did. Same night. Fast forward, today we concluded the repair. These guys (Elite) did everything - and they did it *well*.Hopefully, you'll never have to deal with a house fire. But if you do, you won't find a better crew to put you back in business.Thanks Elite! (and a shout-out to our project manager, Robert - you rock, man!)

We hired Elite Construction to finish our new basement after we had our house lifted and poured a new foundation under it. They did everything from flooring, drywall, paint, kitchen install, and also some outside siding work. The crew was very respectful, polite, and professional. Also, if there were any questions or changes in the work we needed done. Francis was always available by phone and easy to get ahold of.

We hired Servicemaster after having a house fire in our Merrimac, MA home. Right from the start Bob DeCarlo was great during the demolition phase. We are now in the re-build stage and Shawn Hysette from Elite Construction has been on point. He is always responsive and quickly addresses any questions or concerns we have. His team has been kind, professional, and courteous and I can't wait for the project to be complete so I can post some fantastic before and after photographs!

I had a fire last May and Elite did the repair work under the supervision of Shawn Hysette. He was great and the work crew he had was superior. He was very attentive and answered any questions I had and he made things happen!Elite is fortunate to have Shawn as an employee, not to forget how great Bob DiCarlo and Rick Ferreira were. They were very attentive and always seem to calm me down during this crisis. Kudos to both of them and to Elite for hiring such superior men. In closing, THANK YOU ELITE!

Poor communication and non responsive is my rating. Francis who works with Elite construction was working with me to fix my roof and eventually finish my basement. It's been two months since we worked out a time frame to get my roof repaired and since than I haven't heard from him. I've left multiple texts, emails & voicemails and no response. Don't bother wasting your time if your looking for somebody professional.

I would advise anyone who is thinking about using elite Construction to look elsewhere. I had water damage from my roof. They charged an astronomical amount of money for work that was not completed, and the quality of work was horrible. The walls they fixed and painted were unfinished, and looked terrible. I had to hire a contractor to finish the job and he couldn’t believe what Elite Construction did. I’m now seeking help from the BBB.

We had severe water damage in our house. Serv Pro came and ran their machines to dry up the kitchen and basement. They also removed portions of the wet walls and the kitchen cabinets that got water soaked and part of the floor. Service master helped us relocate kitchen items to a pod. Through the process all of the kitchen cabinets and and floor were totally removed.Cardoza installed a beautiful floor.Elite Construction completely rebuilt our kitchen and damaged basement.All of the companies were superior to anything I have ever seen. They were very professional, always kept us informed, and did quality work.

I have worked with multiple estimators and project managers from this office on projects in both MA and NH over the last few years as an Independent Adjuster. No matter which estimator I worked with, they always seemed knowledgeable about the insurance process, very responsive to any questions being from either myself, the insured or insurance carrier we were working with at the time, and was able to help bring multiple insurance claims to quick resolutions.Overall I like working with them as a company and will continue to do so in the future.

I would not trust your projects to these guys. It’s currently Sunday at 11am the day after a blizzard and they are in our driveway blocking us from shoveling. If you want your contractors to show up in your home from 5pm to 9pm on a weekday or from 10am to 5pm on a weekend at choose them. If you want to hear two grown men have a shouting match then one of the hacks up a lunge in your house. Call these guys! If you want them to do renovations that leak or deal with your pipes freezing inside your house. Call elite construction!

My insurance company (Amica ) recommended Elite to replace my rear basement entry door and frame. They sent out an estimator Frank who took pictures and measurements, but ordered the completely wrong door and frame. They ordered a second door which was also wrong because the door jam is for a 2 x 4 construction and by home is 2 x 6 construction they are to comeback this morning by 8:00 and modify the jam and they purchased a 2x6 metal threshold so far no show. ELITE CONSTRUCTION SUCKS , NEVER USE THEM. will report them to the better business bureau and to my insurance company..Joe D.Derry NH

Elite Construction has been a nightmare. I live nearby a property they have been hired to 'repoint,' which means blasting bricks and replacing them. They turned the property into a work site and work shop, polluting the area with noise as well as debris from their work bc they did not cover or scaffold; they cut stone day and night and sent debris onto lawns, cars, houses, windows and gardens with IMPUNITY. The compression machines to power the saws were WAY over the decibel limit--the sound was excruciating, and elderly neighbors HOMEBOUND truly suffered all day long, unable to escape the noise. The LONG list of grievances and insults can fill volumes. Suffice it to say, I was compelled to contact City of Cambridge on several occasions for violations of sound and OSHA standards. These guys have no decency, courtesy, respect. They thumb their nose at rules and laws and merely pay lips service when approached and then return to whatever serves them best. Their manager-supervisor Andres is rude and deceitful; the owner of the building that hired them is regretful to have hired them and the super of the building finds them to be 'rude critters,' which is really hard to hear and equally difficult to write but truth be told, there is NOTHING good about this company or their work. Recalcitrant, intractable, rude and obnoxious are the first words that come to mind. And having been subjected to them since SEPTEMBER 2018, for what we were told would be a 1-2 month job, a job that would be done and executed professionally with scaffolding and netting and noise control, they are still working today, MAY 04, 2019 at 8:00 on a Saturday morning, loud voices and toxic fumes wafting through the neighborhood when people want to sleep in after a long work week. These guys are not professional and not nice: steer clear. The make a mess and a lot of noise wherever they go. I would give ZERO stars but the system requires at least one. BTW, everyone who looks at the work done on this building says it was done by amateurs, chumps at best. Not worth your time, money or headaches that are bound to ensue if you hire them. We have been completely obliterated here in North Cambridge by their lousy attitude and poor work habits and total disregard for surrounding properties. OH, btw, I've never posted before, never, but this was just way beyond the pale. And I see that the company responds and tries to discredit unsatisfied customers, which speaks for itself.
