We ordered a storm door that cost $875. It took over two and a half months to arrive, well, in fairness, we don't know how long it took since no one called us. We called and an extremely rude woman stated it was in and needed to be picked up. Where the cost and time went is beyond me since it was two doors with a bunch of trim pieces that all needed to be custom cut. The door hardware didn't match for a French door application. Pieces of the weather stripping were missing, which won't be keeping much storm out. No instructions came with the door and the same rude woman was unhelpful as always. We then were bounced around the Lansing black hole for over an hour before we gave up. The additional labor that is required for this "custom" item to actually be usable is going to be three times the anticipated installation cost. Oh, and just for one more bonus, it came with the wrong screws. I have used and enjoyed the products from Harvey in many houses but I will not be using them again and I would strongly advise that anyone who doesn't want to be ripped off, treated poorly and given a box of the wrong parts do the same. 0 stars would be more accurate.4 weeks later, still no attempt by Lansing to fix any of the issues with the door besides the lazy attempt below. If providing superior customer service is their top priority as stated, I would hate to see what isn't given priority.

I highly recommend Lansing. The staff in the branch are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had a warranty item I needed fixed and they went above and beyond to ensure it was taken care off and I was satisfied.

After visiting Harvey Building Products looking to get a quote for new windows, I left feeling frustrated and extremely disappointed. This is actually an understatement, I left in tears. I'm a single young woman who I just bought my first house, which is extremely stressful and exciting. Upon my arrival, I wasn't greeted with a hello but rather "What do you need." I shrugged that off and spoke to a man about how to go about ordering windows. I was told that I couldn't' do that because I wasn't a contractor (which is fine my cousin is). When asked a few more inquiry questions I was given very abrupt, watered down, and uninformative answers. I may not be a contractor, but I understand English and basic building concepts. Never will I go back to Harvey’s, I’ll be looking for some other place to buy windows in the future!
