This morning we woke to the smell of something overheating. It was 6:45 in the morning.We checked the whole house and found that the draft inducer motor had overheated. We had had Skovron service our heating system earlier last year performing an over needed preventative maintenance check.I called the phone number and got the answering machine so I left a brief message of my need. Within 15 minutes, Keith called me back to follow up what we needed.He assured me that he would be able to come out this morning after getting the rest of his service people set.My wife and I had to be in Concord first thing so we confirmed with Keith that someone would be home to meet him.I was contacted by a family member by 10:30 the heat was fixed.I didn't expect that to be the situation as I was not scheduled.We have had the service team here for an issue with our hot water heating system also with the same quality care.The office team is always quick to respond to calls and the service team with Keith is what I consider the BEST!

I was having issues with my commercial Hoshizaki ice machine. Matt was here the morning after placing the service call. He was extremely thorough and professional. He allowed me to watch the diagnosis process over his shoulder in order to better my understanding of exactly what was happening, and what needed to be done. He also gave me some great tips on how to regularly maintain the unit to keep it running in top shape. I would highly recommend this company to any commercial or residential customer. This isn't my first time using Skovron and certainly won't be my last.

I have had so much trouble in the past with the quality of work completed by oil boiler maintenance companies. This company is the first that I feel lives up to not only my expectations but also their own values statements on their website. Between the competitive pricing and the expertise of the service technician I will be calling Skovron for all future boiler repairs and maintenance. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is ready for the job to be done correctly the 1st time.

I have a condo in the Nashua area. I called Skovron for a routine maintenance of my furnace, which they installed several years ago. Roger showed up on time and ready to work. During the cleaning, he noticed that the exhaust pipe's connections were bad, which would mean that carbon monoxide wasn't making it all the way out of my condo. I have an 8-month-old baby, so you can imagine how troublesome this news was. Roger said he had another job scheduled after my cleaning but that he would come back right after and fix the pipes because it just couldn't wait. He seemed to genuinely care about the welfare of my family and not just the money. In fact, he quoted the repair at 2.5 hours of work, and I said okay but asked him to please try to get it done in less time. He ended up charging me for 1.7 hours of work, which is a testament not only to how hard he worked, but how honest he was with me. If you need heating or cooling work done, I highly recommend you go with Skovron.

I moved into a new house in Amherst NH and immediately noted that the air conditioner would not turn on. I saw the SkovronMechanical sticker on the indoor air handler, and called to setup an appointment on August 3rd. Keith Skovron recalledinstalling the original forced-air system about 8 years ago, so I had confidence that his company could handle the job.That confidence was unfounded, as it took them 32 days to finally fix my air conditioner. What transpired was a comedy oferrors, amateurish business practices, finger-pointing, avoiding contact, and generally pathetic customer service. To befair, I don't believe that Skovron intentionally misled or defrauded me. But every step of the work was completely screwedup; waiting days for parts to be delivered, ordering the wrong parts, installing the wrong parts, driving to Massachusettsto buy different parts. SKovron seems to have no business relationships with its suppliers, they seemed to be drivingaround New England looking for compressors and capacitors, or ordering them via UPS. Every shipment was a 5-day delay. Icould have ordered the same parts cheaper from Amazon and had them on my doorstep in 2 days. When my new compressor wasdelivered 4 days after it was promised, I asked Keith to install it on a Saturday. He made no concessions and invited meto pay his technicians time-and-a-half. No thanks.During this fiasco, I had to initiate every phone call for a status update. Not once did SKovron call ME to let me knowwhat was going on. Promised installation dates would pass in silence; I got the impression they were avoiding me eventhough I maintained a calm demeanor throughout.Every error was someone else's fault; the manufacturer didn't send the shipment, the supply house didn't tell Skovron thestart kit didn't match the compressor (who's responsibility is that?!).In the end, they charged me a reasonably low labor charge, I suppose as a way of acknowledging my inconvenience. But Icould have learned how to fix it myself on YouTube, and saved myself two weeks and $1000.I'm sure that other people have had positive experiences with Skovron Mechanical, but based on my experience, I recommendyou find yourself another HVAC repairman.

I had them out they "reset" the controller $130. A few days later same problem. They came out replaced the part that was supposed to stop the controller needing to be reset $240. A few days later same problem all they were concerned about is the extra overtime charge because it's Jan. 2nd. We agreed they would call on the third instead of extra charges. They never returned the call. Instead of worring so much about charging me extra how about taking some ownership in that you've charged me twice for misdiagnosing the problem? Or returning calls as promised? I will try your competition.

When we lost our air conditioning during very hot weather, they responded quickly! They were able to identify and determine the problem and explain it all. I feel their pricing is very reasonable for the service. I have no hesitation in recommending them!

I'm the manager of the RadioShack in the horn pond plaza on Cambridge Rd and three days ago my building was hit with a massive power surge that ruined the HVAC unit on the roof of my building. It took my company three days to respond to me about my problem, but it took less than an hour for them to fix the problem. I am now very comfortable in a cool store thanks to Matt, the awesome technician. You saved my life, man. I'll be telling any and all customers to see you guys first for HVAC service and repair.

Had major issues with rescheduling an appointment. They cancelled originally due to the weather and rescheduled me incorrectly. They then wanted to charge me extra trip fees even when they had made the scheduling errors. The technician was at my home 15 mins and for most of it he complained about being overworked. They also had no idea which coupons they had on their website so I had to call back multiple times to finalize payment.

I would not recommend skovron services. Absolutely terrible service. I work with commercial contractors from different industries frequently and have a good frame of reference for customer service and follow up. They are more concerned with making sure they collect for every billable minute than fixing the problem and making the customer happy.
