It’s been a couple of years since we had our basement recreation room done by Groen Construction. It may have taken us long to write them a review they very much deserve but we have always been more than happy to recommend them to anyone considering building or improving their dream home. We have heard many good things about Groen in our area prior to working with them and those things we learned first hand to be all true – they are one of the best in the business. They were very professional - from the planning process until the end. They and their sub-contractors communicated and worked efficiently while always trying to accommodate our wants. Considering that we lived upstairs, they were respectful and always cleaned up after themselves that it made us feel good when we went down to check on the improvements at the end of every work day. They are also trustworthy as they continued to work in our home even while we were out of the country for a couple of weeks. Our basement has become a space for fun and relaxation and it has become our, as well as our family’s and friends’ favorite space in the house. See photos attached.

Groen Construction recently put a handicapped addition and deck onto my house. I loved how it was done at the agreed upon price and within the time limit we'd talked about. The workmanship was first class and their foreman was wonderful to work with. I appreciated how he was at the house most work days and was easy to talk to as the job progressed. Most of the sub contractors that came here were very pleasant and accommodating. I'd be glad to be a reference for any future customers thinking of hiring Groen. In fact, I've told many of my friends what a joy it was to work with Groen Construction on this project.

Groen Construction did the fit-up for the new administrative office of Word Radio at 120 Washington Street in Rochester. They worked with us on numerous changes to our ideas for our very first office space. Groen Construction built our offices to amazingly comfortable and colorful settings. Groen added an entire new section to our home, totaling 3 floors and a basement. The most impressive thing they did was not only stick to a schedule and make sure we were all clear about changes, but every day when they packed up to go home nothing was left messy. With 3 kids and a cat they went above and beyond to make sure we felt "normal" even though there was a hole in our roof at times! We can't recommend Groen enough.
