Update: Quality Home Center did such a nice job with our kitchen in 2022, we had them remodel both of our bathrooms in 2023 and they did a fantastic job. The bathrooms came out fabulous.Bret and crew did a fabulous job remodeling our kitchen and installing flooring throughout the first floor of our home. The workmanship was excellent. The crew was courteous and professional. We will use them again if and when the need arises.Service: Kitchen remodeling

Quality Home Center did a great job transforming our first floor! Bret and Tim gave us a great plan to work with, allowed us to make changes easily, and put up with lots of questions:) There is the option to do everything completely in-house as well as to use only part of their services and pricing was clear and the best we found. For what we paid, we felt like we had A LOT done (in fact our project was significantly less expensive than work done at one of our relative's house 10 years ago which used her existing kitchen footprint)- wall removed and beam placed, kitchen moved from one side of the house to the other requiring plumbing, heating, gas, and other work, existing kitchen turned into a room ready to paint, and flooring for hall and rooms. We were concerned that the outside of windows would look weird since siding had to be removed but love how they turned out. We appreciated everyone's responsiveness and reliability. Zach, Clint and all the other subcontractors and workers were on time and polite and did great work. Everything went as scheduled and was done within three months (and really the main kitchen was ready within 8-9 weeks). They even made sure we had no days without a working kitchen which was AMAZING! We would definitely recommend Quality Home Center.Services: Home renovations, Installation, Remodeling, Plumbing services, Kitchen remodeling, Flooring

Great company to work with. Office staff always available. New shower in one bathroom and 3 new vanities. Beautiful work. Very clean. And people working in our home were very customer service oriented.

Before walking into the display store, we had no experience nor did we have any references to use Quality Home Center; it was a whim as we were driving north on Rt. 9 and saw the shop on the left. When we entered, we were greeted by the staff and though we were clearly browsing, they spent time with us at the displays and answered numerous questions. We were looking to remodel after extensive water damage to our condo but we didn't divulge our intentions during that initial visit. Nevertheless, they probably spent 30 minutes with us.Ultimately we contracted for their services and although they couldn't start immediately due to supply chain issues (thanks COVID) they gave us a projected start which was about 6 months out. Approximately 5 months later, they called and told us our cabinets were in and wanted to start immediately, which they did. The contractors were all professional and did high-quality work within about a 3 week period. We had one minor snafu that was quickly resolved to our satisfaction and without rancor or stonewalling. They finished the "punch list" quickly, again without prodding on our part.We will likely re-do our master bath and will contract with Quality Home at that time.Services: Remodeling, Kitchen remodeling

In 2015, I was in need to purchase kitchen cabinets. A friend of mine strongly recommended that I go to Quality Home Service in Cape May Court House in New Jersey. Based on this recommendation, I went to shop for kitchen cabinets and was extremely pleased with both my shopping experience and customer service which was a one-on-one experience with no interruptions. I also picked out a granite counter top. The cabinets were delivered in a timely manner which kept my kitchen project on schedule. The counter top was professionally installed and looks perfect. Recently I was in need of a small cabinet to add to my kitchen cabinets. Once again, I was provided excellent customer service and the sales person, Tim, who was my original sales person did such a great job in ordering this cabinet. I know that if I ever need the Quality Home Center in the future, I would not hesitate to reach out to them for assistance because I know it will be a successful experience.Signed a very Happy Customer...!!!!!q

Spent a lot of time at Quality with Tim selecting quartz counter tops for kitchen and baths, as well as new cabinets as part of complete remodel of e BR summer condo in wildwood crest (Seapointe Village)Tim offered great suggestions and was always available on the phone when needed. Bret (the owner) came out and measured and was always helpful as well.I'm extremely happy with cabinets and Quartz counter tops. They also make me small table top of matching quartz as well as providing the legs. Pricing was reasonable and competitive, as did get quotes from another cabinet company in the area.I would highly recommend Quality Home Center.

Quality Home Center did a great job converting an old, outdated kitchen into a much more usable space. They have an excellent selection of cabinets and countertops in varying colors and price ranges to fit any budget. Our designer, Tim, was very friendly and informative as to how the project was going to proceed. Lu Ann was on-the-ball whenever we had an immediate question. Bret was very knowledgeable when he looked at the project in the beginning and made it clear that they would move appliances, perform electrical work, perform gas work, and perform plumbing work. In other words, they could (and did) it all. Mike, the primary installer did a great job.The only issue we had is the place where we wanted the accent tile on the backsplash was one level lower that we requested. We were told that the accent tile would have been more difficult to cut around the outlets. We would have liked to have known that before installation. We also should have been asked about the types of sinks that they had. We were offered stainless steel or quartz. We actually wanted shiny porcelain but were told that quartz was a better deal. The sink we got, although very nice and very functional does not have a smooth finish as it is textured and not shiny. We would have liked to have been shown not only the types of sinks available, but the types of finishes that were available.Bottom line, we felt that we should have been shown, either in person or in pictures, more of the smaller options other than the cabinets and countertops.

We used Quality Home Center to renovate our Master Bath. The process was extremely easy from the initial proposal to the actual work being done. Tim was a pleasure to work with as well as the office staff. All of the gentlemen who completed the work were extremely reliable, courteous and the workmanship is excellent. Now that our Master Bath is so beautiful, we plan on renovating our other bathroom and will definitely use Quality Home Center.

As a developer, I have used Brett & company for over 50 Kitchens. The designs worked well and assisted me in selling all units quickly. The service was excellent. This vendor offers a balance between cost and quality and overall experience was extremely favorable. I would recommend them without reservation .

After not having a kitchen for over two months, I was extremely stressed and aggravated. Upon ordering my countertops from Quality’s Home Care, the original timeline was that they wouldn’t be able to deliver them for two weeks. I literally had tears in my eyes because I was purely OVER IT. The employees did everything in their power to make sure I would have my kitchen back together for Christmas, and their efforts paid off. Instead of two weeks, I only had to wait one week. Quality Home Care is professional, values their customers, and goes the extra length for you. So thank you guys ! I can’t wait to bake Christmas Cookies in my NEW KITCHEN. :)

We hired this company to do our kitchen & it was the worst buying experience of my life. Bret has no idea what is going on with job ever. All he wanted to do was get paid. Cabinets came 2 different colors & he said they looked good. Wrong color backsplash, wrong model stove & island way off center. He will not stand by any of my problems, Buyer beware.

Purchased gas logs. Thought this was a specialty store, it is not. Dealt with Tim who asked for complete measurements of my fireplace. Spoke at length about vented vs non vented. Chose a set, thinking I got a vented , which is wasn’t , he chose the size based on measurements. Set Is way too small for my fireplace, says he can’t take back. As a professional you would think he would tell me that they do not carry type and size appropriate for my fireplace. Well, no, now I have a log set too small and non vented. Note to self do not go to a kitchen store for fireplace equipment.Look up the fireplace guy, only deals with fireplace equipment. If I could give no stars I would.

We ordered a fireplace on December 11 and were told it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. I called the last week of January after not hearing from them and couldn’t get a return call for a few days. After I finally got someone in the phone I was told they would look into it and get back to me. Another 2 weeks passed and I had to call again, and again no return call. I finally got a call back and was told it would be another few weeks. I asked why I wasn’t called and told, and LouAnn responded by saying that they couldn’t possibly call every client who had a back order. This went on until the first week of March, when the fireplace finally arrived. Naturally it came with a damaged piece so I sent pictures and the serial number to Tim. He never acknowledged receipt or the submission of the claim. Weeks go by again with no update from Quality. I called and left multiple messages and no call back. I went to the store and confronted Tim and LouAnn and a couple days later I received an email saying it would be “several more weeks” for the replacement part, or they’d give me $100 in lieu of replacing. I opted to wait for the part and said I expect to hear back week of May 20 - never heard back. More phone calls left unanswered and not returned. I called and surprisingly the phone was answered by owner Brian one day and told him what was going on, he said it was unacceptable. Later that day I received a call from LouAnn saying the piece had arrived earlier in the week but it didn’t have a name so they didn’t call me. They delivered the piece and it’s a different color. My wife went to the store and was given the option of having a full mantel delivered to replace the old. LouAnn said they’d get it scheduled right away. That was a week ago, no call to schedule. I have called several times, no return call. Stay away from this place, the customer service is just horrible. Do yourself a favor and order what you need online from anywhere but Quality.

The short of it:This place runs like this: salesman with very little knowledge of the actual work involved manages you and your job: returning your calls (I dont remember him ever being available when I called), ordering products and hiring contractors to do the actual installation, and you get what you get in the end.The long of it:We hired QHC to redo our kitchen at our shore house this past winter, just countertop, sink & backsplash (not cabinets).Brett came out to check out the job and set up our estimate, and pointed out our existing backsplash was very high. It was just a piece of formica stuck to the wall, so it was as high as formica is wide. Brett suggested that be corrected when we had it tiled, and the freshly exposed wall would be refinished and ready for paint, which we happily agreed to.We ordered the granite countertop, and were called soon after informing us a crane would be needed to lift the countertop to the deck of our 2nd floor where the kitchen is. That would be several hundred dollars over the estimated cost. My husband had me call back because he had already been informed there would absolutely be a seam in the countertop, which he wouldve rather avoided, but the seam created 2 smaller pieces, so why would a crane be necessary? Brett called back and said thats correct, the crane was NOT necessary. So that unnecessary expense was avoided. The backsplash was soon installed, and when we checked it out, it was just as high as the original backsplash. My husband immediately suspected it was tiled right over the old piece of formica. I didnt think tile would stick to formica, so I called and asked Brett why the new backsplash was as high as the old. He said the wall was probably very damaged so the workman covered it with the tile.A month or so later, my husband began work on the house, and he noticed areas of the tile that did not sit flat on the wall; they were bumpy. Also, the edge of the backsplash bordering the refrigerator space was arranged vertically, unlike the rest of the horizontal subway tile. Thirdly, the grout was coming out. When I called, everyone I spoke with assumed the grout was coming out because, apparently, that always happens. Had my husband not been at the house doing other repairs and noticed the grout, we would not have known to call about it...so I guess it was supposed to be OK if we didnt complain? And yet, everyone at QHC knew it would need to be fixed, but didnt bother to tell us or arrange to fix it.My husband happened to be at the house when the workman came to fix the grout. He asked the workman why the tiles by the fridge didnt match the rest of the pattern. The workman said he ran out of tile so he just filled it in that way. My husband then told him to leave and called Brett. A different workman was arranged to fix the grout and replace the vertical tile by the fridge.Again, my husband was there when the new guy showed up. The new guy did a great job, and while replacing the vertical tile he and my husband got to see for themselves that the new tile was, in fact, installed OVER THE OLD FORMICA.When my husband asked the workman why the tile wasnt sitting flat throughout, the workman said because it was installed on the formica, which wouldnt have been a flat surface to begin with.At this point, I dont even know what QHC could do for us, we dont want the kitchen pulled apart again, and Im sick of dealing with incompetence, so were living with the bumpy backsplash. Maybe had our tile job been outsourced to the 2nd workman originally it wouldve been done correctly. Thats up for debate. We really splurged hiring out this job, since we usually do things ourselves. But being that it would require endless weekend trips to the shore in the off season, we didnt think it was practical this time, so we “treated” ourselves and paid to have someone else do it quickly and “professionally”. The expense for a crummy job has been a hard pill to swallow.

After speaking with several companies in the area, I decided on Quality Home Center for my bathroom (3 of them) remodel project. From design to completion Tim and Bret were responsive and proactive and the lines of communication were always open Love the results and will use Quality Home Center when I redo the kitchen!

While remodeling my recently purchased “fixer-upper", I decided to also look into replacing the kitchen. I checked all the "big box" stores and their prices were a bit out of reach as I was on a tight budget. So I visited Quality Home Center, and spoke with a lovely woman by the name of Luann. She assisted with making my vision a reality, all while staying on budget!! I would recommend her and this establishment over the "big box" stores any day of the week!!!
