I'm thrilled with the exceptional full remodel job performed by National Home Improvements on my kitchen and bathroom. They installed new cabinetry and flooring that was done to perfection and is very durable. We chose a white tile that they installed seamlessly. Just had the whole outside of my house remodeled. Ralph and his guys are such a pleasure to deal with. They transformed my whole house, to a place i'm excited to come home to. I know I can be difficult to deal with, but Ralph always communicated well with me and never talked down to me or lost his patience with me. I used NHI/Ralph for my vinyl siding and masonry work. Overall, the project came out great, with slight repairs here and there that Ralph gladly took care. Ralph’s easy to talk to and has always been prompt in returning calls or responding to texts. As with any contracting job, especially as it was done during the pandemic, there were delays, but Ralph kept in touch and came thru for me.

Ralph acts like a nice guy, but he appears spread way too thin without adequate crews to work jobs, at least that is the case on my job. He complains about his clients in front of other clients and acts like everyone else is the problem. God forbid there is a problem because he is exceptionally rude if you ask him about timelines or question something about the project. He has no qualms about mouthing off to female clients telling them “what’s wrong with you” and “nothing is ever good enough for you” if the slightest concern comes up. Some of his crews do shoddy work and he charges for “custom” work. Our roof doesn’t have any overhang and a drip edge wasn’t installed…on the entire roof. Hopefully they’ll fix it. There’s a massive seam in what was supposed to be a seamless gable and the porch posts are sitting on top of the deck rather than attached to the framing. He may respond to texts but is not reliable and is very difficult to work with. If any concerns come up he becomes increasingly difficult to the point you consider having to get lawyers involved. Also, the crews pee on your property because he doesn’t get them a porta potty.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with National Home Improvements for a siding, window, and gutter home improvement project on our house. We were thrilled with the quality of work and the excellent customer service that was provided by the owner Ralph and his team.Right from the start, Ralph was very responsive to our needs and concerns. He listened to our suggestions and offered advice to ensure that the project was completed to our satisfaction. We were also impressed by his transparency and willingness to work with us on pricing, making sure that we stayed within our budget providing the most competitive pricing out of all the quotes we received.It's worth mentioning that out of the four contractors and three quotes we received for this project, National Home Improvements was the only contractor that consistently followed up and showed a genuine interest in the project. One contractor never got back to us with a quote after spending time with us discussing details of the project., which made our decision to work with Ralph and his team an easy one.One of the highlights of the project was working with Charles, who installed 17 windows along with trim in record time. He was efficient, detail-oriented, and a true professional in every sense of the word. We were amazed by his expertise and dedication to getting the job done right.We also had the pleasure of working with Luis and his siding team, who worked tirelessly from 8am to dark every day in the chilly New Jersey February weather. They were approachable and always willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We greatly appreciated their hard work and dedication to making sure that the project was completed to our satisfaction. Additionally, they made sure to clean up the site every day, which was a nice touch.One thing that really stood out to us was Luis's attention to detail. For example, we planned on reusing our existing shutters, Luis noticed that three pairs were too long for the windows, which would have looked odd if they had been installed as-is. Luis brought this to our attention, and we were able to reuse most of our existing shutters and replace the three pairs that were too long. We were grateful for Luis's sharp eye and expertise, as it saved us from making a mistake that would have marred the appearance of our home and bothered me every time I drove up the driveway. It was a stark contrast to a contractor we worked with previously who had installed these shutters that were too long and never mentioned it to us.I must also mention the exceptional work done by Bruno and the gutter installation team at National Home Improvements. The installation was completed in one day, and we hardly noticed the team was working because they were so quiet and efficient. We opted for 6-inch round gutters, which turned out to be a great decision. We recently had a big storm, and our new gutters performed perfectly. The old 4-inch gutters would have overflowed, causing possible damage to our home.In the interest of fairness and transparency, I must also mention an issue we had with an outside electrical receptacle that did not meet our expectations. Ralph immediately connected us with an electrician the same day to assess the situation. By the next day, a proper outside receptacle and weatherproof box were installed to our satisfaction. The electrician did a great job, and we were very pleased with the quick resolution of the issue.Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the work that National Home Improvements has done on our home. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to work with us to ensure our satisfaction were truly second to none. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality home improvement services. We would work with them again in the future.Service: Window installation

Ralph from National Home Improvements has done it again. Last year his company completed a whole new exterior look for our house and garage. A new portico, windows and an interior room renovation, fantastic results. This year Ralph and his men just finished a brand new bathroom for us, as Ralph calls it a “Wow Factor.” The result is stunning, we are very pleased. A few years ago, we bought a house in Monmouth Beach. We felt that the house needed painting so we had it painted. Two years later paint again began peeling and we decided to have siding put on. We wanted Hardie Board because of the reviews this material had gotten. We contacted three contractors to do the work. All three were impressive. We decided to go with National Home Improvement for a few reasons. Ralph was very positive about what he does. We checked reviews and saw pictures of his work. He was always available. All you had to do was leave a message and he would get back to you shortly. His price for the job was more reasonable than the others.The work started pretty much on time and the work looks beautiful. We have a new house. Ralph’s enthusiasm was real. Whenever we needed to contact him during the work period, he was always available. Brian the plumber, Mike the electrician, and Mike the crew chief did great work along with everyone else. The people who did the new gutters and leaders did a great job. We redid the wooden floors inside and they turned out great. These were all people that worked with Ralph. Don’t think that there aren’t problems when you have work done. There are. The key to a good contractor is how these problems are solved. The best way I can tell you how Ralph handled everything is that is if we need more work done we would hire Ralph and National Home improvement again.

He explained everything in detail on how the process would occur. Because of the “Pandemic” and crazy supply chain problems the job took longer than expected, we understood that.
