These guys are fantastic! We recently purchased an old home which we converted to a B&B, while we were happy with the interior, the exterior needed some work especially with an old fence that that surrounds the property. Blue Star made some suggestions on what we can do and they renovated the exterior of our commercial property including replacing the fence with this nice low brown brick fence which shows the house more and matched that earthy homey feel we were going for with the exterior.

just purchased a house that had a very bad front entrance. When I saw pictures of their work online, I was pretty much set on their company. They ended up doing 2 separate projects. The first was the granite entrance then the concrete driveway the following month. Worth every dollar

Rahman and his team were great. Rahman is extremely responsive and does a good job of managing the team. All his employees are skilled and hard working. They installed a new tile floor and cabinets in my kitchen, renovated a bathroom, repaired my leaking roof and driveway pavement. They did it all in a timely fashion and for a fair price. I was an intern for less than half a year in which I learned about the inner workings of the contracting business all the way from creating a contract with a client to redesigning sidewalks, backyards, bathrooms or even the exterior finish of a house. I can say without a doubt that the experience I was given established what a true team-building and productive environment is like. Hired blue star to put in new bathroom and to do some electrical work in my basement… biggest mistake. I was initially quoted one price and agreed to that price. At the beginning I was told two weeks to complete that turned into 2 months. They would come a few days a week for a few hours. I was always given excuses for the delay. The first was that they had issues with their electrician not showing up.When they came for an initial estimate , there is no foresight. I was told that I had to be charged extra to reroute a laundry machine because it was in the way of where the new pump for the bathroom would be . When I asked why didn’t you guys realize that would have to happen when I was given an initial estimate? I was told that it was because they didn’t know where the sump pump was or that the laundry machine would be in the way of the new pump for the bathroom?!?? How?!? The sump and washing machine are 5 ft apart and was in plain sight when the initial estimate was given…I also had new lights installed and outlets and from the beginning requested that they remove old wiring and outlets… I was told “no problem boss” all the old wires are still here hanging. I was given updated bills for “material and labor” to put tile up….We bought all the materials to put tile up!!! Any estimate they give you the will find a way to add to it. I was also told they charge more for smaller bathrooms. For me peace of mind is priceless and it’s a lesson learned.Service: Remodeling

I contacted Blue Star Contracting after having a terrible experiance with a contractor that stole our money and did a terrible job in our home !!! I saw there sign on southriver cranbury road explained our issues and concerns !! Rahman was very proffesional and explained what was done wrong and what was necessary to correct and do the job the correct way he expalined in detail what was necessary to do the job the steps it would take and how long the job would take !! He went as far as to say wven if you dont hire us to do the job make sure whoever does takes these steps and does it accordingly to do the job !! He and his team are proffesional very courteous and work in a timely manner he has earned our families bussiness and would recommend him to do work to our other family members the paint and tile work and masonary work came out great !!! I had my deck redone with blue star . I had a clear talk about what needs to be done.Took 2 months to complete just for changing few deck wood boards and painting.Took half amount on 1st day and then instead of new few deck wood boards, he flipped the old one then came after 1 and half month and when we told to change to new, then he started asking for more money than the decided amount, even though we told him when we had contract done to change to new deck wood board.He took another job and kept giving me reasons. I told him to come on particular day when rain was not in forecast after another 2 weeks . Even though he came on the day when rain was forecasted, after my denial. He does his own things and does not listen to you. My deck is all messed up after paying money.So not worth to give contract to blue star. Very unprofessional. Try to get more money after contract is signed. He will give you contract email with more price then the decided price verbally . At the end of work he will go with the price quoted in contract. So sign the contract with the amount decided. Be careful with pricing
