We had worked with Rick and his crew at AGR Builders years ago for a small project and called him when we built an extension. His team did an amazing job, very detail oriented and clean! We threw a curve ball at him and asked to have the rest of the interior house painted and floors refinished and stained right before Christmas! His team hustled to get it all done in time and we had a very special family gathering in what felt like a brand new home for us! Everyone commented on how beautiful the house looked and adding the room downstairs and refinishing the rest of the space added what felt like a whole new house to the existing one! We are very happy and would recommend them for any job!

Rick responded promptly to my request for repair to our front porch. His team came out quickly and diagnosed what would be needed, I received the estimate, signed the contract, made the first deposit, and the team arrived the next day. Awesome team, they were so friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and they did an amazing job! They renovated our kitchen and three bathrooms. AGR Builders did a large renovation/addition for us. They did all of it. The framing, Roofing, Siding, Hardwood Floors, HVAC, Electric and Plumbing. All the Mechanicals. They did our Kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The hardwood floors they installed in the main part of the house and kitchen came out beautiful. Rick was very easy to work with. He was always available to answer any questions we had. A number of years ago we used AGR Hardwood Floors to replace wall to wall carpeting with cherry hardwood in four bedrooms, ensuite, hallway and stairs. The foreman (Rick?) came to measure and give us a quote, pulled back the carpet, and told us that there is already adequate sub flooring to install the hardwood. So sub-flooring didn't need to be purchased.His team came in and installed the flooring, made a mess when they stepped in the glue and tracked it all over the new floor, made a mess when they stained the spindles of the stair railing. But worst of all, Rick never returned to inspect the job while in progress or when they finished. Had he done that, he might have noticed that either the subfloor or the wood planks were too deep(thick). The closet doors had to be readjusted to accommodate the new height and the last step and the landing step is now an inch higher, out of code and causing a trip hazard as a result of carelessness. I hope that when we sell the house, inspectors won't notice. This is a costly mistake found much too late. Love the hardwood but the installation is shoddy at best.

Rick and his team did my hardwood floors just before my wife and I moved into our new home. My wood floors had been resurfaced a few times already and all other quotes that came back included complete replacement. Rick came in with honesty and told me that he could resurface the floors and keep us in our budget. He did and the floors look and still look amazing. His honesty is rare in the contracting world. As far as the craftsmanship, it is unmatched.

We were devastated when our finished basement flooded due to a water heater leak in our new home. We called the insurance and got multiple quotes from different contractors but none compared to the quality, response, honesty, and detail orientation from Rick at AGR homebuilders. After speaking with Rick and having his come to our home to quote the job we knew he was he man for the job. You could tell he wasn’t there just to make a quick buck off of us but to make sure our basement was left even better than it was before and let me tell you he did not disappoint. Rick was on top of everything from coming by to make sure the work was done properly throughout the week and even dealing with our horrible insurance who fought to pay us every penny we deserved. Just had them re-finish my floors.... was concerned as this was a relatively small job but they showed dedication and quality as if it was a major job....very satisfied with the work and the guys on site were also very polite and nice and hard - workers.... I would highly recommend them - as their price was fair and quality was excellent and service was also very good - the owner always available and even called me back on weekend (both Sat and Sun) - as I had some questions.I would prefer to write the review after a year or two - to fully ensure they did quality job (as it is with masonry work or such) - any "shortcuts" and cheap materials will only show up after substantial time has elapsed BUT in all fairness I feel pretty sure the floors will last and look as new if I only take care of them from now on and maintain them right. I am familiar with woodworking and can tell they used quality stain and polish.

Not dealing with a full deck here, called 3 times after estimate and when things were shaky we went with another local installer for the same price and knocked it out in a week. Shop around.
