I moved into a new build about 6 months ago that Eastern Insulation did the insulation and air seal for in the attic. I was having heating issues in the winter so I had an HVAC guy and energy auditor come out to the house to assess the situation. After checking the propane and heat pumps, we went into the attic and looked at the insulation installation and air seal. Many of the attic penetrations (light fixtures from below, duct work, wall tops, etc.) had not been sealed properly, were half finished, or not sealed at all. In addition, some of the fiberglass bats had already fallen out of place from some of the internal side walls. I was very dismayed to see this on a new build and unfortunately have no recourse because the work is out of the warranty period.EDIT 3/11/24: Thank you for your reply. I want to add that I wrote this review after speaking with two people at Eastern Insulation over several calls. I was informed that my job was no longer in the system and thus no longer covered under any warranty. I would be happy to retract my review if this is not the case. Please let me know who I could speak to about this matter.

I had Eastern for spray foam insulation and fiberglass insulation. They are very professional. Jobs were done efficiently as scheduled and neatly. I was very impress with their quality. Will definitely use them again if there is any need in the future.

I work in larger commercial construction tyrpically. Eastern did a small residential development for me. They were one of the easiest, most professional subs I encountered. Would highly recommend.

had to have the insulation replaced in my attic. It was in horrible condition. They were quick to fit me in, reasonably priced and they did the job right the first time. Hard to find that kind of service these days.

Called on a Tuesday for an estimate for foam insulation. Nice guy and gave a fair price, told me the proposal would be given next day. Proposal never came. Had to call a few days later about it to remind them then next day proposal was sent. After which wanted to discuss the square footage for the insulation and was told I was going to get a call back within 2 days. Call never happened. So I called back again, was told I will hear back from him that night. No call yet again. So I called one more time and still nothing. Is easterns business doing so well they blow off other customers? Nice people in person but why waste over a week of time playing phone tag? I wouldn't suggest dealing with a company that is not reliable from the start. Better off not taking the risk with your home.

I am a Remodeling Contractor and am building an 1800 S.F. addition. I called for an estimate and had it within a few days after I sent my plans to them. I called for installation a week ahead of time. The insulation was delivered the morning of installation. Guys came out shortly thereafter and installed everything properly. No complaints. There were a few pieces left around but not a big mess or anything to get upset over. Bottom line. Great price, done properly while I was on vacation, passed my insulation inspection, I didn't have to do anything but write a check. I will use Eastern again on my next addition.

I received several quotes from insulation companies for a real estate project on a single family home. I explained that the home would be a prototype model for future homes we will be building to be extremely energy efficient. They estimated price based on architectural plans, then came to the house to measure after several changes were made during the construction phase. The time came to install the insulation during a peak time of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Despite all the trouble in the world they were still able to not only deliver the best price, they were able to get me an install date within a few days of my decision to move forward preventing further delays. The salesman that I worked with, Frank Strelec went above & beyond my expectations during the whole process. During installation he made sure that the results didn't just meet every one of my expectations but personally made sure they were exceeded. I would highly recommend this company for your insulation needs.

I was very happy with the beginning process of getting the quote and having someone come out to give me an estimate. The first day when they came to rip out the old installation, my door bell rings at 7:00 am and its your employee asking to use my bathroom cause he cant hold it any longer. The next day the spray foam truck arrives and as they are backing into my driveway they drive the truck into my mailbox and break the post. They were also supposed to take the insulation that was ripped out the day before because they have a larger truck but they didnt until I called the office and they had to come back to remove it. I called my sales person Scott Simpson and he said they would come back and I told him about the mailbox and emailed him pictures. Now today I have Scott Simpson texting me telling me her will be here to pick up the check and I told him after you repair my property. He kept texting me and demanding a check. I had to call the office to tell them what was going on and to get him to back off with his texts. I was happy with the quality of work, but now after seeing how unprofessional your salesman was about getting paid I will no longer be a customer of yours. Disappointing cause I am doing an addition on my house next year and was going to use your company to insulate the new part of the house.

They left a big mess, the patching was terrible, scratched up my floors while moving a piece of furniture and apart from sending a guy over with a tin of floor wax have not fixed the mess they made and I have had to chase after them all summer. The insulation job might be fine but I cannot recommend them.

Called for setting up an appointment . The estimator called and left me a voice message . I called the estimator and spoke to him . He said he did not have his calendar infront of him so could not give me an appointment . Never followed up or called .
