SUMMARY: Run away from this company fast. DETAILS: Fox Chase Contracting has been doing a multi-million dollar facade renovation from 2022-2023 at a condominium complex in Princeton where I own 2 condos. In 18 years of being a professional, licensed architect, working in construction management and development in the NYC area, I have never seen a commercial contractor with such blatant disregard for life safety issues and disrespect for the property of others than Fox Chase Contracting. In January 2023 while the company was in the midst of the work and removing balcony railings to do it, I went to one of the units and there were no barriers preventing someone or a pet from falling over the balcony and injuring or killing themselves at either unit I owned. This was the same at all the units at the complex when I went around the building. It did not appear that there was anyone overseeing the construction workers onsite. I reported this to the management company, who reported this to the contractor, and followed up again a week later, but no action was taken until I reported this to the city's building inspector. After he came out and I spoke again with him, he had said that he had never seen such a glaring mistake as they made. Also, their demolition work was shoddy, and they caused nail pops in my units, making me have to respackle and paint several walls. They also took a sliding door off its tracks and left it on the balcony to get damaged by the debris from the demolition. After I brought these items up to the construction company, somebody named "Kerry Hamilton" finally responded saying "so I double checked…these are older screen issues…I can resend the photos to show this is regular wear & tear if needed." When I asked her, she gave no evidence and then ignored the issues. When I followed up by phone, she never responded. When I followed up by email, she disrespectfully said she had "resolved the issue." To top it off, one of my tenants who is a mom complained to me that some of the Fox Chase workers covered the windows with Styrofoam for days on end, affecting her and her kids moods. When the workers removed the Styrofoam, they would leer at the underage daughter inside, terrifying her. I would never in a million years hire a terrible company like this that cannot handle things as important as life safety or as simple as taking responsibility for their own workers and the damages they caused, and instead ignore, avoid and disappear. If you are looking for a contractor that is competent, caring, and accountable, go elsewhere.

Lets their drivers flip off and curse out a 20 year old girl in a Wendys parking lot. Driver yelled at us to move up when we couldnt, and then proceeded to scream obscenities out of his Fox Chase Contracting van. Called and left them a message about it, received a voice mail saying that I am lying. I have a witness who was in the car with me, I was so terrified of him I needed my passenger to switch to driver. I have Post-Traumatic stress disorder and the way they took care of this incident shows they do not care about the well being of other human beings.

I do NOT recommend this company at all. The workers they hire are unprofessional, incompetent, and not professionally trained or certified. They caused flooding, power outages, and various expensive damages to townhomes in my development during renovations.Services: Home renovations, Roof repair, Exterior finishing, Roof installation
