We recently used STARR to install a new septic system and were extremely satisfied with the work they did. Chuck and his team are professional and knowledgeable. Just this past week I called the office at 7pm due to a separate issue we were having. Chuck took the time out to walk me through what the issue could be and had someone out the next morning at 6:30am to get the problem solved ASAP. I would give them 10 stars for customer service if I could. I would recommend using them for any contracting need.

We highly recommend Starr General Contracting for septic system installations. They just completed our project and we are so very satisfied with the outcome. From the very beginning Mike C. was such a great help. Mike patiently answered all of our questions and relieved us of our concerns. Jeanine was very helpful by responding to our emails and kept us updated. Rafael and Miguel did an outstanding job and were very respectful to us and our property. UPDATE: After I decided not to waste anymore energy on this company and move on with my life, I find out that you accuse me of leaving a false review because I didn’t respond. This is not a false review! The fact that you didn’t know who I was after reading my review mentioning the job taking a year to complete and ordering the wrong tank tells the people reading this everything they need to know. How many times has that happened ?3 months ago -Do not recommend.Poor communication within the company which leads to managers not being on the same page. The guy Mike is mouthy and disrespectful. They took a year to complete the job. They dodged phone calls when calling for updates. After making us wait forever, they ordered the wrong tank.

Redid the leech field on the home I’m purchasing - quickly and coming back out to fix settling issues after heavy rain, but the fill dirt used was full of broken glass and garbage/plastic. I’m still picking up pieces of glass everyday.

They scammed me. I asked for their service to empty my septic tank and they didn't empty it. They just stole my money. If you don't want to lose your money this way, don't hire them. At least they were ashamed and accepted that there was a mistake and that they are going to fix it but they didn't. they did not hire them if you don't want to lose your money

We recently used Starr for a septic inspection at a new home after the company was recommended to us. Upon arrival, Chuck introduced himself, thoroughly explained the inspection details and plan, and completed the work in a timely, professional manner along with his coworker.Upon completion of the inspection, Chuck again thoroughly explained his preliminary findings, recommendations and what to expect from the inspection report.We were impressed with the customer service even from the very first phone call to request services. Starr General Contracting is a shining example of outstanding customer service, work product and employees. It's not often a company impresses me but Starr exceeded all my expectations. Our animal sanctuary was hit by the tornado in September of 2021. My cousin uses starr for his job sites and knew we were in need of portable restrooms for volunteers. He had highly recommended this company. He was able to get a portable toilet dropped off to us within a day or two after the tornado. It was a HUGE help, and we couldn't believe how quickly it was dropped off. We are still using their services, they maintenance it weekly, and its always cleaned with fresh toilet paper available. Very reasonably priced. I just switched the payment method to myself and it was very easy. Highly recommend their services.

Fantastic company! We recently had a new Norweko ATU unit installed last year and had to get an inpection to sell our house. Chuck came by to inspect the system and found that our seepage pit lid was not a locking lid. This was concerning due to our closing date being a week later. Chuck made this a priority and completed the inspection report that day and got us a quote on the replacement lid and labor. These documents were submitted to the county on the same day to expedite the process to get our passing inspection for our CO! Chuck scheduled the repair to take place the following week on Tuesday morning and also scheduled the county inspection the same day, so we could get our approval! Starr is the way to go if you need a septic system installed! They are honest, excellent with communication, and genuine! You don't find customer service like this anymore! The Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend our septic system backed up. Our "regular" guy would not come and I couldn't get anyone else to come. I finally called Starr, got a super nice person (Beth) who really cared and helped me. She got someone out within 3 hours and the person who came (Andres) was excellent. Not only did he pump the septic, he unclogged the baffle which was causing the back up. Very thorough, polite and professional. I have two septic systems and I will definitely be using Starr from now on.

They did an excellent job of pumping my septic tank. I called them in the morning, they gave me the price, and dispatched a truck in the afternoon. Steve the driver, knew his stuff and tested to ensure that the flow from the house was not clogged. Better than expected and took less than an hour. Great service.

Starr Put a new roof on our home in record time. We were experiencing some bad leeks after just purchasing our new home. Chuck gave us a very good price for the job and his team was in and out in one day leaving no mess behind. I would recommend Starr to anyone needing a new roof.

Horrible septic experience. I do not recommend. They gave us a quote, we agreed, then they requested more $$ mid digging because THEY wanted to dig deeper. I truly felt intimidated by the company and that there was no other choice but to agree so the job would get done for us to sell our home on time. Also they waited to the last minute to do the fix. They had approvals way ahead of time and did not proceed. They let paperwork sit there. Absolutely do not reccomend. The final price, we could have gotten a fully brand new septic. Horrible!!!

Terrible, they did my septic field and after doing so they back filled with dirt that had thousands of broken bottles in it and now I find new pieces of broken glasses everywhere in my yard all the time.A few days after they had completed the job I had a terrible back up which started coming into my house from my shower, which consisted of human waste, bugs and dirt. I called the company and spoke with a woman who assured she would give my message directly to Chuck Starr (the owner) and that they would have someone come right out and check it out. I never got a return call and numerous additional calls and voicemails went unanswered. Had to call a different reputable company and they fixed the problem right away, but at a cost to me out of pocket.My German Shepherd was running in our back yard and sliced his Du claw paw 70% off on a piece of broken glass sticking out of the ground. I rushed him to the emergency room as soon as I could and they had him in emergency surgery within 20 mins to stop bleeding.... 2 surgeries and thousands of dollars later.Thank you Chuck Starr for a leaving us high and dry after you had already been paid. Anyone looking into this company, take this review as just a single experience, but a terrible one. I would not recommend them personally.

Re rented a portable toilet from this company. The sales staff was extremely friendly. The transaction was smooth. Prices were surprisingly reasonable and the portable toilet was really clean and surpassed standards. I highly recommend renting from them!

Office needs to learn how to communicate with the customer. They quote you one price and try to upcharge you by playing it off as you have a bigger tank then expected. I've used them several times in the past and found them to be reasonable now I'm not sure if I can even trust them! I'm really not sure if I will go them again. Will definitely be shopping around for a better price! It's a shame that customers don't matter to a lot of companies anymore!

When calling to talk about pricing, services, and other details, the woman I spoke with, Sissy, was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me. I simply asked a few questions I'm interested I knowing, including the documentation and validity of the employees. When I asked about the legal status of the employees, she became irate and began making verbal attacks, giving an attitude, and eventually hung up on me.Not only do I NOT recommend using this service provider, I also do not condone the tone of voice, language, or lack of basic respect for other people, especially potential customers.This office staff is unequivocally the rudest I have ever dealt with in less than a 5 minute conversation. Make smart choices with your money and do not give it to a company that degrades customers, God only knows what they do to the employees.
