Fives Contracting did a fantastic job replacing the roof and gutters on my Medford Lakes, NJ home in May 2023. I suspected that I had hail damage from a major storm last year based on a significant number of the homes in my area displaying roofing contractor signs in their front yards all of a sudden. I contacted several of these roofing contractors but none were willing to give me a quote without knowing what amount my insurance would cover. Frankly, I did not feel comfortable with any of them. I then contacted a local company, Fives Contracting, and the owner, Austin Lemma, came out the following day. Austin performed a thorough inspection of my roof and gave me a detailed quote that I found to be very reasonable. At that point, I contacted my insurance company who sent an adjuster out within a few days. Austin was waiting for him on the roof when he arrived and was able to get my entire roof replacement covered by insurance. Austin provided me with the addresses of several homes in the area that he had recently worked on so that I could feel confident about my shingle color choice selection by seeing it in person. My roof was removed, repaired, and replaced all in one day and Austin personally oversaw his crew the entire time. Fives Contracting, LLC is definitely worth 5 stars. I wanted to get Gutter guards and Austin came over to quote the work and understood exactly what I was looking for. I was thinking about new gutters but wasn't sure because of the cost. Austin offered to provide a quote for gutters in addition to the guards. The quotes were emailed a day later and I was completely satisfied with the cost so I got both. No high pressure sales which was great.The work was started and completed within the timeframe I was given and I am very satisfied with it. The installers were very efficient and worked until the job was done. To top it off they also did a little leaf blowing for free!Austin came over the following day to do a walkthrough (walkout? 🙂) and didn't take any payment until making sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend Fives and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!!

I would recommend Fives Contracting, LLC for your gutter needs. They came right out to look at my problem. My gutters were to small to remove the rain water from my roof. They replaced them with larger gutters. So far this seems to have solved my problem. They were professional and on time. Did the job well and cleaned up when they were done. I had the best experience with Fives Contracting. Austin and his crew were professional and thorough with clean up. From start to finish, I was kept informed and helped with ideas to make it look better, which it did. I had no problems setting the date and the whole process went smoothly. I had the following done:Removed existing rotted decking and railings,.Substructure assessed to ensure that the new deck was going to be structurally sound and reinforced it where necessary, as well as replaced some sections of the substructure that were rotted.Installed new Trex Enhance composite decking, pressure treated rails, Azek PVC risers and even a new mailbox!I definitely reccommend this company and will use them again in the future!

Called Fives Contracting for an estimate to replace 3 ancient skylights at our new house, and a few areas of concern on the roof/fascia. Two other contractors told me they'd check their books and never called me back. Within a day, Austin went out to my house and got on the roof (even though we were away). They gave me an estimate for the skylights (which was very reasonable), additional estimates for other potential work, and gave me an honest assessment of what was truly necessary vs optional, given the state of our siding/fascia. We got no sales pitch and I truly felt he was honest. On installation day, both owners were a pleasure to work with and the workers did a great job. After an unfortunate incident of shingles flying off of my roof on a home that is less than three years old, I called Fives Contracting. The contractor that installed the shingles in the first place had done a lousy job. Austin Lemma from Fives Contracting came out to inspect the shingles and inspected the roof. He showed me the problem with the installation of the shingles and even pointed out that there was inappropriate material installed on the roof as well. Austin was very knowledgeable, professional and had a great demeanor. Austin was timely in giving me an estimate and forwarding me a contract. On the day of the roof repair Austin was on time and completed the repair in a timely manner and took his time to go over everything with me. I am very happy to have found a company that does what they say will do, no gimmicks, price switching, hidden fees or pressure. I would definitely recommend Fives Contracting to friends or neighbors. They replaced our old roof, installed new skylights (Yay, I can see again) and replaced all the rotted boards.
