We had our roof done about 3 years ago by this company. They did a fine job with the roofing work - they had done repairs for us before so we hired them when it was time to replace the whole thing. But I don't think we'd use them again because they weren't good to communicate with and, 3 years later, we're still picking up roofing scraps from our yard and flower beds.Given our age, however, and the length of the guarantee on the roofing work, we expect that any problems with the roof will belong to the next owner of this house and not us. :)

When they replaced our roof & relined the gutters 6+ years ago, we were very happy. New owners did not respect guarantee. Paid several thou to repair gutter leak & they didn’t even bother to match shingles to the pricey roofing done earlier. NEVER AGAINService: Gutter repairs

John and the team did a great job for both the house roof repair and garage roof rebuilding. After they finished the job, we actually felt some parts can be improved and they were so helpful to answer our questions and come back to take another look and make changes. Very impressed with the attention to detail, responsiveness and most of all, honesty and great value. I say this as we had gotten an estimate from them last year; however, did not pull the trigger until a bad storm this past summer had revealed a leak upstairs so it was time. An updated estimate was provided and work started less than a week later. Best part was they were only slightly higher adjusting for inflation while others came in thousands above them. We were able to pick out an already stocked shingle and off we went. The crew showed up promptly every day and got down to business. When all was complete, they cleaned up all around the property, to include an axle with a large magnet to pick up any nails lying around. They also did repairs on the chimney while up there which should give us more life until that needs replacement. You and your team were extremely prompt in coming over to our home despite an extremely busy period for yourselves. You were quick to come back with multiple cost effective options to address the leak from the roof. With another roofing company, I had to wait for 3 weeks to respond, and another three weeks waiting for significantly higher cost estimate. You were also prompt in arranging financing. I know you were super busy, but were able to schedule installation of the new roof and gutters within a 2 week time frame. We got a new roof in 2012. The crew did their job well and quickly. Since then we called the company several times when we had weather related leaks to check if the problem was in the roof. The customer service people are always nice on the phone and helpful.The company workers are usually punctual and competent. However, in one instance several people weren't able to find the real reason for a leak and Chuck himself came to our house and found what the problem was. We hired Roof4Roof to do a total roof replacement for our Condo in Hoboken. We chose them because we had a warranty included. Roof4Roof is no longer honoring the warranty and their customer service has been rude and inconsistent. Select another provider, or regret it down the road. Chuck: What do I gain here? I don't own a roofing company. You replaced our entire roof and we have had several leaks right after. Now you wont even come inspect the damage inside the unit and you make never ending excuses. Our management company has you on their "not recommended" list of contractors. False accusations? Leaking inside the unit from the roof with significant water damage is very easy to see. They were able to schedule me for an appointment the very next day. They gave me a proposal and quote after assessing my roof. They performed the job the following week. I also had a leak from a flat roof that I remember having almost all my life. It was never able to be found and fixed even after the roof had been done over the years. The team did a great job! They installed a new roof and added a soffit along front and back of the house. Even though we installed the darkest roof color option our 2nd floor that was notorious for being much hotter during summer months we actually saw a significant improvement in the temperature. We are extremely selective in the selection of our vendors before we task them to do work on any of our customer properties. Chuck and his crews have been consistently correct in their diagnosis of the issues we present to them and extremely proficient and professional in repairing/replacing the roofing needs of our customers for several years now. Most importantly they are responsive on the front end and when they leave a job site they leave it clean and professionally done. My only complaint is a selfish one .... they get more publicity about their charitable work ( which we commend them for) then we do!!!!!!

We had a leak in our roof that another roofer was not able to identify. Roof4Roof found it immediately and started to fix it. The repair found a lot of rotten wood under the shingles and a large part of the roof had to be replaced.Roof4Roof originally replaced the shingles with another one that was significantly lighter in color. We complained and they did the work over with shingles that were closer in color but far from an exact match.I was pleased by the people and the responsiveness, and would have given them a 5 if it had not been for the fact that the roof had to be redone.Service: Roof repair

The guys showed up when on time and were done with our entire job in two days - including re-pointing the top of our chimney and replacing our roof hatch! Roof4Roof was called on an emergency basis after the recent heavy rains. I had water coming into my living room from a problem around my dormer above. Once they knew it was an emergency, my job was placed on a different status and a crew dispatched asap. The crew was very quick and detailed in their work and also provided a complimentary roof inspection of the remaining life of my roof for future consideration. We highly recommend this company and like what they stand for in the way they help others in need.

The staff was very professional. They came with their crew and began working from start to finish . I had to encourage them to eat lunch and stop to drink as it was nearly 100 degrees ! They made little mess and when they left there were minimal signs that they had even been there except the yard sign.I was truly impressed with the quality of work that was done . It was literally raining in my home and after they were done a few days later we had a storm and not a drop of water was coming through my laundry room. I feel safe knowing I can finally use my washer and dryer without standing in a puddle of water risking electric shock . The fact that they help families in need is awesome ! I really needed their help and they came through for me and my family . Other contractors didn't offer any help and my insurance company denied my claim . I'm so thankful for Chuck Anania and his staff for making this possible . I highly recommend this company for all of your roofing needs , you won't be disappointed !

I was on their email list and was solicited about the heavy snows this winter and preventing ice dams. I've been around the block a few times during my lifetime and never before have I had the pleasure of having work done by a company that has been more professional and caring about the quality of their work than R4R.
