I was very impressed with the customer service starting with my initial visit at my home. Never having heard of sun tunnel diffusers before I was impressed when I was invited in the home of the owner of the company to see what it look like.Once I decided to go ahead with the project, everyone from the office staff to the product manager were extremely helpful.I was told it would be a two day project and that is what it was. The insulation went smoothly, and the house was cleaned as needed after each stepOnce my four sun tunnel diffusers were installed, I have been so pleased with how much more light they have given me. I would recommend a Ameritech for any of my needs that they are able to do.

I made contact with Ameritech through Angis list while searching for solutions for my metal/shingled roof. I am very thankful I did. Shawn spoke with me to understand my concerns, then spent a significant amount of time completing a thorough investigation of my home’s condition. He was determined to make sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision on my house. And it was clear that I did not start with enough information. He treated my home as his own, took countless photos and spent time educating me on the conditions he found. It turned out that I have to work with the city due to historical restrictions before I can move forward. So Shawn did all this without any contracted work in place. His intent was clearly to make sure I made the best choice and I didn’t waste money or get led astray. And I am thankful he has offered to remain a resource for me going forward and I hope to work with in the future. I look forward to the chance to recommend him to others to pay forward what Ameritech provided to me.

This company is awesome. We had a new roof put on and the way they went about inspecting all areas of the roof inside and out was amazing. They didn't just say you need a roof and it'll cost... No, everything they found was explained in detail and how they would rectify the problems. A few months later after the new roof was installed we found a leak in the kitchen ceiling. We thought it was possibly an issue with the roof. They responded quickly, came out checked around and found nothing. This happened a few more times. Each time we contacted Ameritech they sent someone out to inspect. It turned out it wasn't the roof causing the problem. Even so, each time I contacted them, someone still came to the house to see if they could pinpoint the issue. It was suggested that it might be a leak from the plumbing which, in fact, was exactly the problem. I don't know how many other companies would do what the people at Ameritech did. They have always promptly answered our phone calls and sent people out to check it out every time! Everyone I dealt with was always polite and very accommodating. I highly recommend Ameritech Services!

Keith B. came out to give an estimate for a small amount of roof damage from wind storms from the past few weeks. About 4 shingle tabs came off of the ridge. He grabbed a hammer and nails, I had spare shingles, and he made the repair on the spot and then wouldn't bill me for it, only asking permission to put him sign out front for a week or two.So very friendly, will to help, informative... A pleasure to deal with, they have my business for any future work!!!

It was siding repair from wind damageW just had siding work done so happy we went with this company.The first person I was in contact with was Wendy, who was professional, courteous, and helpful every step of the way. Even when there was confusion on my part she provided exceptional customer service, and was so patient and understanding.Then we met with Tim Cole who came to the home and gave us very detailed explanation for all of our many questions. He took time to explain all the aspects of the work we needed done in terms we understood. He also contacted the insurance company and adjustors several times to make sure the scope of work was covered and done. He continued to work with us thought out the project and saw everything through. He had to go back to the insurance company as the scope of work had changed, and was able to get that covered as well. He also had excellent customer service and we would like to work with him in the future if we decide on any renovations.Lastly, I just wanted to mention Jared who came out and did outstanding work. He also explained everything for us, and even gave me tips and tricks on the existing siding so that it matched the new siding he put in. The new siding looks fantastic and he informed me of some roof issues to make sure that we do not have problems in the future. His work ethic was amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out.The whole team was amazing. Ameritech had previously done a great job on my roof replacement, so they were on my short list for re-siding my house. They were not the cheapest option, but the pricing was reasonable, and based on my earlier experience with them, I was convinced they'd do excellent work. I was not disappointed.Tim worked with us in the planning phase - he was very knowledgeable and professional. Before long, we had decided on the styles/colors/etc. of the siding and stone facade.Our project was then handed off to the project lead, Larry, who helped orchestrate everything. Larry was very professional and helpful throughout, and the team did the work quickly with high quality. Jared did our doors, and he was very personable and helpful. There was some manufacturing issues with one of the doors, but he and Larry helped address it quickly, and there was never any finger pointing or any of that sort of nonsense. A new door was ordered and installed, without sacrificing the schedule.There were a few delays along the way, as there often are for complex projects, but the Ameritech team was always responsive, and I'm very satisfied with the end result. When he returned with pricing, he brought various options to allow me the opportunity to choose what was best for my long-term goals, as well as for my budget.Once I decided on the options that worked best for my needs, Larry came out to double-check details and measurements. When the day came for the roof to be installed, Larry was there to assist and ensure that everything went smoothly. He even provided an excellent drone video to showcase the finished results.The next day, I had new gutters installed by Sean. He was affable, expedient, and experienced. Update to my post: We finally got to the point where we needed a new roof and I called Ameritech since they took great care of me before. Tim and Larry were awesome and the epitome of professional. They were punctual, knowledgeable, and delivered on every commitment. The whole roof was done in a day and a half and looks great. I've always been a huge fan of Holmes on Homes on HGTV, viewing the incredibly lame performances by some contractors. When it came to my needing a contractor I wanted to avoid the contractor nightmare scenarios. I spent about 2 years mulling over the decisions regarding my roof, windows and siding, handling multiple contractor assessments and quotes. In the end I felt more comfortable with Tim Cole, Wendy, and Shawn Covely at Ameritech than anyone else. They were all knowledgeable across an array of topics, including design, materials, business, & aesthetics. They actually listened and debated the options with me because they wanted to get it right. For example, the frieze boards, if capped in white, would have been a different shade than the adjacent white PVC on the bay window. The solution was to simply get rid of the frieze boards altogether. One of the more vexing decisions concerned the trim around the exterior windows. A wide range of options were discussed and ended up with so-called vinyl lineals. Most contractors simply waved away these concerns and actually omitted certain options because they didn't "fit" their MO such as subcontrator skill-sets or time schedules.Most surprising of all was how cooperative and interactive they were in working with me to accommodate my own projects and time schedule. For example, since I was going to have access to the walls of my house from the outside, I took advantage of that to install things like doorbells and cameras, and so Ameritech delayed the start of their work until I was ready for them. Meanwhile, I was building a porch roof at the same time and we efficiently determined who does what and when. Very accommodative. Most other contractors greatly restrict DIY side projects by customers while they are working.Although all of the above is a great start, the execution was remarkably aced! The attention to detail, such as reframing a window rough opening, or including utility trim into a J-channel for siding to snap into at the top of the wall, or optimizing the selection of trim for the sudden unknowns that arise in remodeling is gratifying. Umberto and Augustino were a pleasure to work with. I was consulted when on-the-job-site problems that inevitably pop up needed to be decided upon. They took the time to ensure an optimal installation. They wanted to do the right thing. For example, I have a sunken living room that brings the foundation wall down about 10 inches, which would have thrown off the siding lines around the house. After bringing it to my attention it was decided to add 3/4" PVC trim around that small section of wall so that the siding bottom line stayed even around the entire house. Perfect solution and fit right in with the rest of the trim.I highly recommend Ameritech as a contrator for home improvements. They are the antithesis of contractor nightmares; indeed a real pleasure to work with.Services: Window installation, Gutter installation, Roof installation

Shawn came to my house to personally inspect my gutters. I had wanted gutter guards put on the older gutters that came with my house I have recently purchased. Another company gave me a quote without examining the house in person. After inspecting the gutters on my house Shawn showed me several factors that would lead to major complications down the road if I had just let another company place gutter guards as my gutters truly needed to be replaced. Shawn gave a very competitive pricing and my new gutters and gutter guards look great and I’m confident I will not have any issues in the future. I would 100% recommend this company. We used Ameritech for a leak issue we had in June. Tim came out to provide us with a complete roof inspection and figure out what was causing the leak. He proposed a solution that no other company saw, seeing that we needed new gutters and a better water removal system. The gutters were replaced complete with gutter guards in one day.Tim came another day to remove a tarp put on our roof by another company and found significant roof damage due to the application of the tarp. He spent the next month helping us get the most roof coverage from our insurance company by helping with paperwork. The insurance company agreed to replace two slopes of the roof that touched the damaged area and Ameritech was quick to schedule and complete the roof. Also Ameritech never tried to sell us more than we needed. Everyone at Ameritech was wonderful to work with and we know that we will be calling them again in the future. This entire process has taken a few months and a lot of phone calls, but Ameritech was very helpful throughout the entire process.

We were in need of a walk tear out/window removal due to water damage from a poorly flashed roof section. Shawn gave us his very best quote, the very first time. He explained every step in detail, showed examples of all materials to be used, and applied zero pressure, saying he understood that this would be a huge decision and expense. His was the third quote we considered. The others were like dealing with used car salesmen, including "let me call my manager and see what we can do." Nonsense! Ameritech delivered everything exactly as discussed. No hidden costs. The workmen were OUTSTANDING! Showed up on time, worked very hard, long hours for 2 days, and smiled throughout. Wendy, in the office, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend the entire Ameritech crew.After about a year, and some extremely high winds, we had a very small issue with one shingle. Shawn showed up the next day to make it right.
