I visited Alpine Lumber to purchase a chain for my chain saw. Without asking for assistance I was contacted by a sales associate. He identified himself as Mike and more than helpful with a vast knowledge of the chains I was looking at. I thought I knew what I was looking for but quickly discovered I did not. Mike followed me out to my truck to look at my chainsaw and recorded information located on my bar. He then was able to identify the exact chain I needed. His help saved me from purchasing the wrong chain and damaging my saw. With helpful and knowledgeable employees like Mike I will be back to Alpine Lumber!

Great place would pick this store over true value in town everytime even if they don’t have what you need they’ll do their best to get it unlike true value ordered a special battery from there in October 2021 still haven’t heard back from them about it called a couple times finally gave up Alpine is the best plus they give you free popcorn on your way out

Store customer support is somewhat lacking unless you are a builder. Their prices seem to be higher than local Ace Hardware. great store but be sure to compare both locations if you are a homeowner.

Junkyard would be a better description. Better have 4wheel drive and flat free tires if you're going to go in the yard. Unorganized mess and no one to help you in the yard. Take someone to help you load.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff with a bit of a slower pace you expect to find in a small town hardware and lumber yard. Much of the staff have been working there for 10+ years which speaks well of the ownership and management.

This establishment has very unfriendly staff and are very unhelpful. I have bought lumber and spent thousand of dollars on numerous occasions and no one will help me load even when I have asked for help.
