TLDR: recently got work done by these folks and very pleased with the results, would def hire again. the work was to fill in a large window which due to a prior home addition, didn't look outside but into the added room. one side of the window was finished with sheetrock & textured to match existing finish and the other side was stuccod to match its surroundings.felipe was quick to make it out to my house to look at the work that was needed and price it up. i thought at first the price was a little high but it was comparable to other bids i received and i preferred to stay as local as possible. in addition, once i saw how much labor went into the project, i felt it was priced right.the gentlemen who showed up to do the work were on time, polite and professional. they arrived with a company truck, tools etc., well prepared and ready to go. it was hot, july, and there was no ac in the area they were working but that didn't seem to phase them. they covered everything in protective plastic and got to work. they cleaned up after themselves every step of the way and at the end of each day. i'd brought a shopvac out for them to use but not only had they'd brought their own, they also had brooms and rags and such which was a pleasant surprise to see how well prepared they were. they really seemed to care about their workmanship. these were true skilled and experienced tradesmen not just labor for hire. they seemed to take pride in their the work they were doing which i greatly appreciated.on the 2nd/last day of the project the power went out at my house, early, before they'd even arrived. i was able to get someone in the office a little after 7am to let them know, they felt it wouldn't be a problem and it wasn't. the truck has power and they were able to carry on business as usual. the power was out all morning & afternoon and towards the end, they'd run out of water for the stucco (because i'm on a well and without power for the pump, eventually tank ran dry). at one point i'd considered running to the local water kiosk which is about 8 miles away and this bothered the gentlemen a bit, because they cared! because they saw it as an inconvenience to me that they felt bad for but i did not, it wouldn't have been a big deal for me and no reflection on them. as luck would have it my neighbors were able to give us enuf to finish. it's just the fact that they cared so much that compelled me to write about it.there was one con and that's the scheduling process. while my schedule is highly flexible, not everyone's is and it was weird that i'd given them the deposit then not heard from anyone for more than a month. i could've been more proactive myself but felipe said 4 wks so i didn't follow up till after a month had passed. once i did the ball got rolling and the job got done with one, coordinated as expected, schedule change. it was just awkward at first not hearing from anyone esp since it was our first contract together, i started having doubt. i ended up on these google reviews and saw other ppl had scheduling problems and that gave me more doubt. but all in all, the way things turned out, it really wasn't a big deal for me personally. all i can say is if its that important to you, be proactive and talk to them before letting it become a bigger issue than it needs to be, i'm sure they will do their best to accommodate.

From start to finish, we had a complete bath remodel with this company. Our old house had old plumbing in our bathroom which needed to be replaced. We used professional contracting for the plumbing job, then decided to wait a little to save more money for the actual bath remodel.Once we were ready to pay for the final project, we naively thought "all contractors are the same, it doesn't matter which one we use". My husband decided to go with a DIFFERENT contractor (Bath Planet). Long story short, we ended up paying Bath Planet about 3,500 just to get out of a contract with them (zero work on their part). That is beside the point! After that we moved on, put our nose to the grindstone, and saved more. Then we finally did what we should have done in the first place-stuck with the same reputable, honest company that did our plumbing work in the past for the rest of the remodel.Prices were very reasonable on the estimate. They were very responsive to any questions we might have, and also gave us reasonable timelines on when things could be completed. As far as the quality of work, we went from a gutted bare bones bathroom, to a functional and aesthetic bathroom of our choosing. I will add pictures, because the work speaks for itself! Disaster hit when a full size cottonwood fell on my house. It was a struggle dealing with insurance. Professional contracting was the only company in town that was willing to work with me and play the stupid insurance games. They had great customer service and good ownership. The workers were incredibly nice, and Professional. They did great work rebuilding my house and it looks better than before. I would highly recommend this company.Services: General building construction, Exterior finishing, Drywall installation, Roof installation, Flooring

I moved to NM May 2020 and needed a storage unit built. The workers were very friendly, quick, and professional. I was so impressed with the quality of the shed that when it came to adding another room to the house I automatically thought to use PCBNM again. Like the shed it is well built and sturdy. All the different crews were friendly and willing to answer any of my questions. A special shout out to Felipe, Scott, and Robert for being considerate and helpful when I made a few changes during the build. I would definitely use their services again for any future house projects.

We needed 3 rooms remodeled, a large sun room, guest bath and converted a room to a large walk-in closet. We had a lot of drywall that needed to be done and their drywall guys are excellent! There was a crew here everyday for about a month. They were here when they said they would be and always cleaned up at the end of the day. There were a few minor issues, but they were always addressed and corrected. As large as this project was having few a minor issues is not unexpected. The cost was reasonable and we love our newly remodeled rooms. We would definitely recommend them and will most likely use them again.Service: Remodeling

On January 21st 2022 we signed a contract with ‘Professional Contracting Builders LLC’ to perform a variety of remodeling jobs including relocating the existing ‘Attic Opening’ from the living room into the hallway. On 02/15/2021 Workers arrived and irresponsibly cut a hole 22 inches x 14 inches in the hallway without first looking or accessing the situation inside the attic. The access was too small for a normal adult to pass through and once opened, there was a large HVAC vent running right across the opening preventing access. The opening was non-functional.We called and spoke to Phillipe (the owner) on the phone, he informed us that a larger attic access in the hallway was not possible due to the direction of our roof trusses and HVAC pipes. He agreed to close the inaccessible attic access in the hallway and cut a new access in a new location (we suggested the laundry room).‘The Company’ sent a different set of workers for this job.The new workers went into our attic, spent 10 minutes looking around, investigated and informed us that the roofline of our house, the direction of our trusses and the large HVAC unit in the attic prevents us from relocating the attic opening anywhere else other than where it currently exists. We accepted the professional opinion of the workers. As we had already paid ‘The Company’ $825 for the attic relocation – we requested a refund.‘The Company’ refused to refund our $825 but sent an email dated 2/17/2021 informing us: “We are willing to waive any additional charges and your final payment to end this relationship amicably.”We requested a full refund as ‘The Company’ did not perform the work according to the contract and by their own workers (2nd crew) assessment it is impossible to relocate the attic access to a new location. They have refused to respond. We filed a complaint with BBB in the beginning of March 2022 and there has been no response for the past 4 weeks. This company is rude, unprofessional and will be ready to pick up payments in advance.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you are already in contract with them triple check the quality of their work before paying them.Last comment: This is not the only complaint we have with this company. There are other fights we had on the other 'bad' work they performed.Service: Remodeling

Felipe and his team did an amazing job installing our new kitchen backsplash! Felipe gave me a competitive and accurate quote almost immediately (on the weekend!), and was able to start as soon as we had the materials on hand.Everyone we interacted with was kind, considerate, communicative, and trustworthy, and the work they did was of the highest quality! We'll definitely be using them again for future projects!

Professional Contracting Builders remodeled 2 bathrooms for us: a completely custom master bathroom and a standard-build second bathroom. Overall, they do good work and we were very satisfied with the end result. Our project manager, Cyndee, was wonderful! We had her cell number and communicated with her almost daily during the process. Sometimes she noticed things that needed to be changed or fixed even before we did, which was nice. The process took longer than expected due to an unforeseen supplier issue, but Professional Contracting Builders were good about making it up to us however they could. Not every detail was done correctly or to our liking the first time, but they were good about communicating and coming back to re-do the details until we were satisfied. We did have major issues with one of the subcontractors, but those were addressed by Cyndee and ultimately the sub came back (multiple times) and fixed the issues. All the other subs were GREAT and did excellent work! We would hire this company again.

Shocked at all the positive reviews, but maybe they have dramatically improved. We used them twice (wanted to give them a second chance - big mistake) and 1) never showed up on time, 2) did not clean up after themselves, 3) used personal items without asking and broke/damaged them, 4) threw chicken bones and cigarette butts into the yard, 5) had to have work done repaired. When replacing our windows, they removed the windows and broke for lunch - leaving the house open in the middle of summer. Workers also left for the day without a work, leaving openings at the front and rear door! Just wanted potential customers to be warned and be sure to contact all references.Service: Remodeling

Felipe Silva, and The Professional Contracting team did an amazing job rebuilding us a brand new home. Every work crew that worked on our home was friendly, professional, and provided TOP NOTCH service! Our project was not their everyday project/build there were some bumps in the road, but in the end they did a FABULOUS job! We're thankful for their patience and dedication to building us a safe and beautiful home. A million thanks and praise, from Mr. & Mrs. Santillan.

Called to get bid on work. Spoke with Scott. Within 2 minutes told me they do not paint cabinets (as part of a much larger project) and when I asked if they were a general contractor he hung up on me. When I called back to ask if he hung up on me, he confirmed that he had.The name of the company is misleading on all counts.

I had a free estimate scheduled for early morning on a tuesday. A man (who I later learned is the OWNER) showed up and climbed up on my roof and was up there for less than 5 minutes for I explained the problem up there in detail prior and he took some photos. I asked him for options and he made it clear that the neighbors roof needed the work and to be resealed. I asked him for an estimate to be emailed to me on this. He blew me off and said that the neighbors roof company should do it for free— he never mentioned any other solutions. I asked if he could send over a estimate to my email or a write up of his findings so that I could have it for my records and give it to my neighbor as well. He agreed and then left. I received no estimate so I texted the number he called me from giving him my information again for the estimate— heard nothing back at all. TWO DAYS LATER— I get a phone call from the original man I spoke to, to book the estimate and he said not only was I not getting a free estimate but it was a report that the owner wanted to charge me 65$ for!!! I asked the man what the difference was between a free estimate and a 65$ report— he kindly stated that basically it states the problem with pictures.. This was funny to me for I TOLD HIM THE ISSUE BEFORE HE EVEN UNLOADED A LADDER! He was on my roof for 5 minutes and is expecting 65$ from me instead of a free estimate like I was promised. He also said and I quote “well I don’t want to work with her” referring to my neighbor. I went to even explain that had I known of this other solution I may have hired this company to fix the problem myself —customer service is key— being honest with you potential customers is key. A free estimate means FREE not lying and then trying to charge 65$ for less than 5 minutes of your time.

No one showed for our appointment when I called (they weren’t going to notify me of running behind) they said that someone would be here in an hour.... I didn’t realize a one hour appointment would take 2 hours (never has happened with other contractors). Usually a business who labels themselves as professionals would give a call when they are running late especially if it’ll be an hour + later. The best they could do was reschedule me a few weeks out and couldn’t promise that this wouldn’t be an issue again. Taking my business elsewhere. Again, you all did not call to notify me and expected me to wait an hour without any call, I had to call you all 5-10 minutes after waiting around for someone to show. A professional company would have called 15 minutes prior to the appointment to let me know you would be running behind.

Recommendation: Find 'Professional' contractors. Find builders who know how to build, electricians who know electricity. Do NOT use PCB.Unlike 1 star reviews without substance, here's the task list and letter sent with the final payment. After the mid-project check was paid, they disappeared for the holidays (thanksgiving through MLKJr Day. PCB OVERCHARGES, confirmed through two of the subcontractors,"1. Shower Door - Wood Backing for Door Support was not installed. Weight has pushed shower tile down and out. Owner to fix. Possible missing top caps on shower door framing.2. Shower Fixture - Overflow cap not installed. Contractor unable to find PVC replacement in order to attach new hardware. No drywall was repaired.3. Barn Doors - Bowed bathroom support bar. Hardware on doors installed incorrectly, not level. No handles on doors per approved door photo. Bubbled paint/varnish.4. Duct Service - Owner signed invoice from subcontractor, showing $150+ less than quoted allowance. Barn door wall corrections may have created additional dust from paint/texture in ducts associated with Master Bedroom and Bathroom.5. Electrical Low Voltage - HDMI, completed per request. Phone jack relocated, jack supplied by owner. Cat 5 wire replaced from mid-work report, supplied by owner. Cat5 wiring completed for 3 wires, 5 plates. 8 USB outlets, USB extension supplied by owner. Stand-alone USB plates were not found per request and replaced with Power/USB plates. Unable to utilize USB when Power is used and vice versa.6. Attic Ladder - Completed per request, after first ladder was delivered damaged and replaced.7. Insulation - Completed per request. Correcting low-voltage issue and installing hood vent patted some insulation down.8. Hood Vent - Instead of using available roof vent, contractors installed new roof hole and vent.9. Exterior Siding and Trim - Completed per request.10. Block Wall - Prior to ordering brick, Felipe said white block to owner and subcontractor. Gray block was installed. Subcontractor tells owner he is overcharged, and quotes neighbor for future job.Other - When asked if all the anchors for the barn door supports were secure, Tim said they were, only to find out that 3 out of 11 were secured in studs, before Vincent secured the fourth anchor.Verification of tasks by Felipe, Art, or an authorized individual has not been done. Tasks were shelved between Thanksgiving and January 15th, 2019, with the exception of duct service by the subcontractor on December 4th, 2018. The day prior to Thanksgiving, Vincent repaired drywall and corner beads from removed trim, and created an uneven wall that was repaired, and recognized that the barn door supports needed more wood, and that the baseboards in the closet had not been re-installed.Prior to being lied to about supported anchors, being shelved for a couple months, and not being contacted or visited for regular task completion confirmations/approvals, I had the impression that PCB was honest, courteous, polite, personable, on-time, and willing to listen and correct mistakes. While most of that list may still be true, I have to remove honesty per our conversation.I will consider this contract closed upon receipt of deposited final payment check. If yourself, Felipe, and Art would still like to do a walk-through, I will expect you on Feb. 21st at 10am per our previous conversation. On the other hand, I would understand if you would like to cancel the walk-through and focus on other jobs."And with that they "no-call, no show"'ed me for the scheduled walk-through. I haven't seen or heard from Felipe and Art since November.
