Gilbert went so far beyond the extra mile with us it would be wrong not to tell the story in my review. While on a windy vacation in December, we needed to install a sway bar on our trailer before heading home to Denver. We got to Gilbert Garcia’s shop and when it was time to move my SUV out of the way it was completely dead out of the blue. Gilbert worked with me (a total stranger) for some 5 hours in the cold wind and dark, taking me back and forth into town for parts and installing them in the vehicle. He has past experience as a mechanic, and instead of leaving me to get an expensive tow he did everything he could to help. He even set us up to stay just outside of his shop for the night and in the morning, he put the SUV on a trailer, took it into town to a specialist he knew, and invited us to come along to lunch that day. When the SUV was fixed, he brought it back, installed the sway bar, and didn’t offer an amount to be paid. I payed him well, I hope - at any rate, he seemed pleased, and we felt that we’d made a very good friend on that trip. As we drove home in the wind, it felt like a completely different vehicle! It was worth the trip!! Thank you, Gilbert, for not only your skill as a welder, mechanic, and temporary campground host, but your generosity and your whole family's kindness during a stressful time. You know when you're around someone who knows what they are doing, and Gilbert definitely does. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and kind.
