Charles has recently replaced our bottom deck and put a new roof on our house. He did an excellent job and kept us informed on what he was doing. We are very happy to have found a contractor who does such excellent work and diligently completes the project in a timely manner. We definitely recommend him to anyone for a great job. We plan on working with him in the spring to complete another project. Definitely one of the best.

Charles redid our lower deck and also put a new roof on our cabin. We are so pleased with his work. His price was reasonable and he got both projects done in a timely manner. He kept us informed and updated us as the work progressed. We definitely recommend him. He is honest and does a great job. Will definitely have him do more projects for us in the future.

Charles completely remodeled the outside of our cabin and carport including new siding, new decking, adding on a fireplace box and a complete paint job. The work was first class with attention to detail and little extras added. I really hate to write this, that being said, people depend on reviews, so here goes. He is not really a contractor, maybe a framer at best. He did do a deck for us several years ago and we were happy with it. He is NOT a finish carpenter, cabinet setter, tile setter or floor installer. The tile posted 12/20/22 is ours and the tile sticks out up to 1/8” from the one above it. He did three showers and the tile is uneven depths in all three. What do you do when it’s all done? Tear it out and redo it? He installed our vinyl floor without doing prep work. He left Sheetrock mud blobs and carpet staples with carpet padding and other debris under the new floor, causing the floor not to stay locked, and corners sticking up. He messed up the spice rack install on the cabinets. Now I have to pay someone to take the floor up AND buy new flooring and lay it and fix the spice cabinet. We hired Charles to tear down and rebuild an elevated deck on my Mother-in-law's home in Ruidoso. We all live in Texas and so we were not present during the time the work was performed, however, Charles executed the job professionally, kept to the budget, met the timeline we had established and built a deck that met and exceeded our expectations. The area was cleaned up and was left as good or better than when the work was started. I would highly recommend Charles and plan on using him again in the future.Service: Deck construction

Charles has been doing construction work for us for about 10 years. The first job he did for us was to replace our dangerous and antiquated cedar shingle siding with cement board to make our home more fire resistant. He also replaced our old roof with a metal one. While he doesn't do gutters, he recommended another professsional who handled the job well. Next he built-in our carport making it a garage. A few years later he helped us to completely rehab a rental. He repaired siding, painted both the interior and exterior, installed laminate flooring, replaced vanities, and did carpentry work. Again, he referred an excellent plumber and electrician, work he himself did not do. A couple of years ago, he helped us to remodel our bathrooms (3), kitchen, laundry room, and pantry. This involved moving walls and changing floor plan. Last year, the deck on a rental needed to be replaced. Charles did an excellent job, completing the project in only a few months. We have obviously been very happy with Charles' work and happily recommend him.

We hired Charles to add on to our house in February, we added a bathroom,laundry room and doubled the size of a bed room, it was a fairly big project,Charles done a fantastic job, he is a very skilled carpenter, he handled everything from framing, drywall, paint, flooring, and does it all with good attitude and attention to detail, he is an honest hard working man, he has terrific people that he works with Allen Townly the plumber and Don the electrician were excellent, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Charles again.
