Always have a great experience here. Great place in the middle of town for contractors and residents alike, to a large assortment of things for the home garden and work. I would call myself an out of towner I come in here for work and they always treat me like I've been coming in for years. If they don't have what you need they're always willing to let you know when they'll have it or where else you can get it

Awesome, very nice people there. Visiting for the first time. Grandson and husband stopped at four convience stores. Bought two coffees, and three drinks at one. Said good morning, how are you guys, no answer from any of them. They had bathroom blocked, they said bathroom was out of order. When we were leaving, again I said good bye have a great day again no response. Other three said out of order as well. By chance stopped at Ace and they were very nice, directed them to the bathroom. After even offered them coffee and cookies. They know how to make out of towners feel welcome. THANK YOU SO MUCH. We will be back to shop before we leave.

As good a hardware store as any in the big city with better service and selection than some big box stores. You can buy a sub zero fridge, a Thermador range, a pallet of Sack Crete, a miter saw and bird feed all in one trip. They're also one of the biggest community supporting businesses as well.

Ace has a good selection of product despite being in a smaller town. I have always found what I need. Staff is very helpful and the store is not under staffed. Parking can be a little difficult as it can be crowded and it is off the main road in Ruidosa. Try the back lot to get in and out easily.

Typical type of Ace you'd find in a small town, problem is this really isnt a small town anymore. Pretty much have everything you'll need within reason. Prices are high, but then again which Ace isn't. Ample staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. They also need a bigger building as they have tons of stuff packed into a small space. It's time this place grew. It was fine 10-20 years ago. But Ruidoso has outgrown it, size wise.

Don't get in here often, but have shopped here for years. Not one time have I gone in and not been asked if I need help, or checked out by a cashier that wasn't friendly. Staff is always in the ball, and always willing to help if you need it. A great asset to Ruidoso.

I went to the Ace Hardware in El Paso and they told me that it couldn't be done because my truck had an alarm on it which makes absolutely no sense. Went up to Ruidoso and they got it done in about 15 minutes. $244.00 and worth every penny! I even paid and ordered a second key fob. Workers were as nice & sweet as fresh honey!

The greatest store in town!!! If you need it, they have it! Travis is one of the friendliest, most helpful and likable people I have ever met. They are all great.....Roger, AJ, Stetson, the girls, EVERYONE!!! If you don’t have a great experience in Village Hardware, I would venture to say that it is you, not the staff, that made it unpleasant!!
