The crew from Econo Thermal Insulation came to my home and insulated it from attic to basement. They were all very professional, efficient and pleasant. They worked diligently and got the job done, which made my 1887 home much more efficient, which was such an upgrade to what I had. I highly recommend Econo-Therm Insulation. Lou and his crew were very professional, extremely knowledgeable about their work, and highly efficient by using best practices to get the work done quickly, hassle-free to me, and meeting all expectations. They clearly explained all the work they did to maximize my home's heating and cooling efficiency. They also provided me with "before and after" pictures of the attic interior and other areas they insulated, which made it possible for me to inspect all their finished work. (I have attached a few pictures.) Judging from these pictures I am very confident the insulation work they did will noticeably improve my home's overall cooling and heating efficiency, resulting in lower energy consumption and related utility costs. What I appreciated the most about Lou and his team is their down-to-earth demeanor, which helped with trust building and communication openness. Thank you, very much, Lou and crew!

From beginning to end Econ Therm Insulation was a pleasure to work with.Lou, the owner, returned my call very quickly and listened to all of my whining.We met several days later and with my expressed needs in mind explained his insulation and what he thought would do the trick.His team of wonderful men, led by Branley, who was terrific in every way,did their work professionally and courteously. As I was told by Lou, they touched up (painted) the small areas that were nicked by removing the shingles. You would never know anyone took shingles off my house. And, they cleaned up every area they worked in, inside my house.I am confident that my pipes will not freeze again. I highly recommend them with no reservations!My only regret is that I did not tip them more!

The owner of Econotherm called and they said “Can we come this Friday?” I didn’t hesitate, so that morning around 7:30-8:15 , 4-5 guys came and were so polite, hard working, neat. Informative, and very nice and very helpful! They insulated my whole attic, crawlspace, took some siding off and spray foamed my walls also . They finished my home in approximately 6 hours ! I would give them 100 stars if I could. They cleaned everything up and vacuumed their way out of my home! THANK YOU THANK YOU,! My experience with Eco Therm was extremely positive. Louis came to the house to analyze what would be required, constructed a proposal on the spot, and had his crew here two weeks later to do the work, It was estimated that they would arrive by 8AM and finish by noon. Sure enough, they were here at 7:45 and left at 12:03.The group of five guys were most professional, explaining everything they were doing and documenting it with photos (not that I really understand any of this). Nevertheless, they elicit confidence with their teamwork and efficiency, and explained a couple of additional things they would do once they saw the premises.And, as Louis assured me, they left the house cleaner than it was when they arrived.Really a terrific outfit.

It’s hard to even begin to explain how great my experience was with this company. From the first call to set up my appointment to the last run of their vacuum before they left it was fantastic! They even tested the effectiveness of the insulation with a machine before they left. This is a family owned and operated business with their third generation starting. Based on family values and hard work ethic. Employees last for over 20yrs and are still smiling and friendly. The grandson is not getting this handed to him he’s working his way up learning all aspects of the job from their loyal staff who probably know him since birth. Econo-Therm Insulation installed attic Insulation at my home in Woodbury in January of this year. I cannot say enough about the wonderful job, the crew, and the owner! The installers were professional, respectful of my property, and left my home beautifully insulated and as clean as before they started work. I can highly recommend this company! I had several other estimates, but Econo-Therm was most reasonable. With an A+ rating from BBB I felt confident using this company, which I randomly selected from a Google search!

I cannot stress enough how great my experience was with Econo Therm. Starting with the initial phone conversation to the in-person estimate and finally the actual work, there is not one aspect of the services provided that I am not super-satisfied with. They even did such a great job cleaning up that it was as if they were never here. Add the fact that their pricing was very competitive, just do yourself a favor and go with Econo Therm.

This is not a company! This is a great friend you never met before but treats his clients like gold! Louie the owner came to our home to give us a quote, and instantly made a great impression. He didn’t sell us anything. He suggested, and shared ideas. Louie is not a business man, he’s a great human! I didn’t think I could afford to insúltate my entire house, so I only asked for the front room quote. Not only was the price fair enough we were able to insulate the entire two story home, but the crew was professional and kind. As for the result - I’ve never written an online review for anything, never! However - the difference in temperature in our home after the insulation is beyond imagination, so here I am. Today it feels like 5 degrees Outside so it’s a great test for our newly packed insulation. This is hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST investment I’ve made on our home in 11 years since we purchased. Incredible company, beyond belief results. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Just had my attic insulated on Apr 2 201. These guys are great. Arrived on time. I didnt even bother getting a quote from another company. Lou came to my home inspected what i needed. Didnt try to once make me feel pressured for the work. They provide before and after photos. My home will be much more comfortable this summer. From the minute my wife and I met Louis for the estimate to insulate our attic space to the completion of the job, everything was perfect. Louis explained exactly what we needed and what he was going to do in each of the attic spaces (2l. The cost was very reasonable and lower than 2 competitors. He also threw in a few extra services such as placing plywood boards in the attic to make it safer to move around and vented both bathroom exhaust fans through the roof vents which should have been done by the contractors who remodeled our bathrooms (2 different ones by the way)He also told us that by insulating the attic spaces we would lower our heating cost by approximately 40 % and air conditioning cost by 30 %. I can tell you that as of today, 11/18/2020, we have not had to turn our heat on at all and have even slept with open windows almost every night for the past month. This confirms that we will be saving on heating costs. We will have to wait until next summer to see if air conditioning costs decrease but I'm sure they will. Louis and his team arrived timely, worked professionally and orderly, and cleaned up when finished with job. Do not hesitate to use Econo Therm Insulation. You won't be disappointed.

Our master bathroom & bedroom have always been colder than the rest of the house in the winter & warmer in summer. This winter the pipes leading to the shower froze again, despite taking the usual precautions. We had always thought it would cost too much to blow insulation into the wall, but knew the cost of burst pipes would be much higher. We called Econo Therm, & Louis came the next day. He looked at the entire house, including the basement & the attic, visually & also with a device that showed an XRay-like view of the hot vs. cold areas & showed their temperature. We were pleasantly surprised at the cost he quoted, & asked him to schedule us as soon as possible. Others had told us it would be several weeks. Louis said that, since this was a relatively small job, he would be able to take care of us sooner. Three very nice men came within just a few days, & Louis showed up a bit later to help them. They were all clean & professional. Louis even added a few extras to the job at no cost. We noticed an immediate difference: the house is now uniformly heated with no temperature change when walking into our bedroom or bathroom. When it's cold & windy out, the temperature inside now remains uniform & doesn't change; it used to drop to the low 60's on cold, windy days! My fear of frozen pipes every time the weather got cold is now a thing of the past. I highly recommend Econo Therm Insulation.

Bob from Econotherm came to my home to give me an estimate on my insulation in the attic. He gave me sound advice and for what I was doing he said what I had was sufficient. He didnt try to sell me something I didn't need and he also gave me great advice to make what I had better. I would reccommend and use this company in the future.
