He is a talented craftsman and will help you design your dream home beyond anything you've ever imagined. Milca and Harriet are so organized and easy to work with in regards to payments, permits or any questions you may have along the way. Lori, is top notch. She sat with me for hours over the course of several months to design and finalize every little detail of our house. I would have been incredibly overwhelmed without her expertise. Her talent is unmatched!Mike was our project manager and Sergio and his crew worked on our house from beginning to end. I cannot say enough good things about this team. They are knowledgeable, meticulous, and are true talented craftsman. They worked tirelessly on my house for 4 months and we could not be happier.If you're shopping around for contractors, you will definitely be thrilled with Oz!

From start to finish and beyond, Oz GC is truly a company that is always reliable. I am writing this review years after having two kitchens, a master bathroom, relocation of laundry, a den and other smaller projects all completed with Oz's assistance across two different homes. This review is to recognize Mike O., who is one of a kind. He cares about the quality of work and also that your repairs are completed in a timely fashion, even years after completion. Mike does not hesitate to either do a repair himself or he comes with a crew. When he says he'll be there, he is. Oz is overall a reliable and quality company that delivers on all fronts.

We hired Oz General Contracting to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms and had an excellent experience throughout. Lori, the Design Consultant was excellent. She walked us through every step of the design process and was always very conscious of our budget. She also offered great suggestions and advice.Oz possesses superb workmanship and uses quality materials. Our Project Manager, Mike, was onsite at some point every day. Mike was very responsive to questions, concerns, and any problems that arose, including adjustments even after the job was finished. All debris was removed the same day without needing a dumpster outside our house. We also liked the fact that the length and timing of the project was true to what was planned.Oz treated our house like it was their own and we highly recommend them.

We hired OZ General Contracting for a complete gut renovation of our basement. We could not be happier with the results. Mike, Uzi and their team were great. We had many unforeseen obstacles along the way and they handled it seamlessly. They made sure the job was not complete until it was exactly how we wanted. Our new basement is beautiful.We are about to start a new renovation of our master suite and OZ was our first call. Uzi came in listened to our needs and gave us options we did not even think of. The best vendor I have ever used for anything, ever. This is a team of EXPERTS. They know their craft inside and out, and through every step of their operation. I wish I could organize my life the way Lori designed my bathroom. The process was so efficient. Their wait times are long because they're so good, so do plan ahead! Once my slot game up- boom- they gave me a beautiful bathroom in exactly one week. I have a demanding full time job and family, so I have zero time for problems and fuss. The team was entirely independent and they worked hard and got it done in literally five days, soup to nuts! The bathroom is beautiful. Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Already recommended them for another family member's bathroom and will continue to recommend to others. I'll save up over the next several years so that I can do my kitchen with them. The absolute best service for your home reno, trust me. Also, Milca literally deserves a diamond crown and a robe!!!

My husband and I have been using Oz for our home improvements for the last 15 years. We've done two bathrooms and a kitchen with them. Their designers are terrific. Their prices are fair. Their quality is excellent and their workers are all top notch. Each job came out beautifully and we've received so many compliments on them. But the best things about Oz are that they stand by their work and their customer service is second to none. Anytime we've had a small problem they've come quickly and repaired it at no charge. Most recently a tile in the kitchen (that was done 9 years ago) came loose. We contacted Mike and a few days later someone came to repair it. Mike is an amazing guy to work with! I can't recommend them highly enough.

Our journey began 8 years ago when we had a leak in our master bathroom. My husband thought it was going to need a minor repair however after several handymen came to look at it, we were told that we would have to rip out all of our tiles. That is when we decided to renovate our entire bathroom since it was fairly outdated anyway. After interviewing several contractors and reading many reviews, we chose Oz Contracting to do our renovation.We were put on their calendar and as promised, the team showed up on the scheduled day bright and early with big smiles. Three weeks later we had a gorgeous new bathroom. Every morning they showed up on time and every afternoon they left the house as clean as when they had first started. No dusty disaster that you so often hear about.Since our house needed updating we decided to continue through the rest of the house. Especially since we knew that we had an amazing contracting company to work with.Over the past 8 years we have renovated every room in the house which included 2 more bathrooms , kitchen, basement, living room and dining room. Each room came out picture perfect and if there was any slight issue, a team member would show up as soon as possible to remedy it.Everyone on the team is super friendly and helpful. The workers, project managers, Lori (design consultant), the lovely receptionists (Harriet and Milka) and of course Uzi are all a pleasure to work with.After each project I actually missed the team. So much so that now, we have been put on the calendar to refinish our basement in our vacation home! Since our family has grown to 7 grandchildren plus 2 on the way, we are adding 2 more bedrooms , a bathroom and play area. And speaking of family, I know that it seems like only a family member would write such a rave review. Although we are not related by blood, it feels like Oz Contracting is part of our family!

We had Oz General Contracting Co Inc redo the first level on our house. It started with just the bathroom and kitchen but we decided (mid way through the work 😬) to go ahead and redo the whole main floor. They were able to execute the job well and within a reasonable amount of time. Mike was very patient with us which was very much appreciated. They also fixed anything I was unhappy with and did not make me feel like I had to pull teeth to get those small touch ups done. Working with OZ General Contracting Company Inc. for kitchen and bathrooms renovation was a great experience. Uzi and Lori were amazing at helping us re-design our kitchen and bathrooms. They made us feel comfortable by providing lots of insights and suggestions for selecting new cabinets, countertops backsplash and tiles. Mike and David were great looking at day-to-day activities throughout the project. The crew assigned for the project was very professional, easy to work with and great with the communication. It's easier to find a unicorn than it is to find a contractor that is beyond 100% reliable - the Oz team is that company. I first used them for my home to renovate the kitchen. They ended up doing three bathrooms after completion of the kitchen. Then I sent them to my office and they renovated the bottom floor. It's not easy to find a company that takes a potential issue and makes it a non issue in less than 24 hours. Anyone can do construction work but Oz was and is always a reliable partner. We could not be happier with the work done by OZ. We’ve done countless home renovations over the years and the level of professionalism, attention to detail and attentiveness we got from OZ were unmatched.The design that was done by Uzi (owner) and Lori (designer) was an easy, flexible, and enjoyable process. The level of customer service we received from Mike (the PM) was something we never before experienced. To call him just a project manager is a vast understatement. He checked in nearly every day to keep us abreast of the project status and showed us in detail what work was happening and why. When we had design decisions his considerable experience was invaluable. When the team was shorthanded due to Covid, he put on kneepads and did the work to keep them on track. He never forgot a single item that we discussed and made it unnecessary for us to keep our own punch list.All of this is great but what matters most is the final product and this is where OZ shined. Caesar (crew leader) and his team had impeccable attention to detail and never took a single shortcut. They completely redesigned our kitchen, updated our den, built us a new custom fireplace, installed several new windows and replaced nearly half of the floors in our house. Several months later it is still impossible to find any issues. Everyone who came to our house was polite, professional, and patient with our questions. As far as we could tell they all worked for OZ and none were subcontractors. The cabinets are built here on Long Island by folks who support families on the Island. When they did hit installation issues, the cabinet builders themselves came to the house to resolve them! When friends come over to check out the work, they are consistently amazed and can’t stop complimenting the project.Anyone who has done even a few home projects will realize how rare this all is. First of all we used Oz in 2000 to remodel and extend our house and have been extremely satisfied with their work. They have been there for us whenever needed since the original work. Recently there was a small leak discovered under the wood floors. Oz quickly diagnosed the issue, took care of furniture and belongings , with proper covid 19 protections fixed the issue. Mike and Uzi came over daily to oversee the operation. I had the BEST experience ever when I hired OZ to remodel my very old kitchen. Every step in the process was guided by my PM David in a professional, caring and competent way The exceptionally talented craftsmen were on time every day and always made sure to clean up before they left (shout out to Junior, Jose and Johnny!). The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, and Uzi's suggestions for the kitchen layout were spot on. Last but not least, all of the ladies in the showroom were pleasant to work with and always responded to my questions in a timely manner. OZ made what could have been a stressful situation a breeze, and I could not be happier with the results!

My wife and I can’t stop singing the praises of OZ – Uzi, Mike, Lori, Chico, Junior, and all the others! The kitchen they have created for us has made us fall in love all over again with our home of 43 years. We look forward each day to using it and enjoying it and marveling at its beauty.Over the years we had made several modest improvements in our small kitchen. For decades we have seen OZ trucks and work crews around the area, so we felt safe to see what they could do for us. Uzi had a vision that we had never considered and it interested us. He presented a detailed visual renditions for us and we agreed. We set a date and he promised that the complete renovation would be done in 3 weeks. Lori took us through the planning and choices, explaining, suggesting, and helping us to find what was just perfect for us. The woodwork was beautifully created by Chico and his team. He contacted us and had us inspect the work before it was sent to us. The project manager Mike, was always available and quickly took care of any questions or problems that arose. Demolition was quick, orderly, and extremely neat. The construction was excellently done by Junior and his team. They were talented, hardworking, thoroughly professional, clean and respectful of us and our home. The results were functional and beautiful even beyond our hopes and expectations and, yes, completed before the promised date!We highly recommend this fine company and anticipate having any future home improvements performed by OZ!

Update: Please do not call me a liar - you were at my house and I was insulted. As far as the labor comment - you estimate every single cut of a tile in your price......no little extras to cover your high costs of manufacturing and showroom. I stand by my review and used someone else. Not interested in your company or service - so many better contractors out there.Found the owner very insulting during the estimate and decided to go with another contactor. Just rubbed me the wrong way and his prices were much higher then other estimates I received. From what I saw he nickels and dimes you on the labor where other contractor do not. Fancy showroom and manufacturing on Long Island usually means a large overhead.....have to cover your expenses somehow.
