We got several quotes for a mini-split heat pump with the new cold weather heating capabilities. Sure Temp had a competitive quote while offering the best brand in the industry, Mitsubishi. I had an excellent line of communication with them via e-mail. They had no problems working with our schedule even though the quote was three months apart from the install. The installers were polite, professional, and efficient with their work. They only needed about five hours to complete the install and have the system running. Now, the actual unit we purchased was an 18k BTU/hr Mitsubishi Mini-Split Hyper-Heat. The indoor & outdoor units are silent, even on max cooling. The indoor unit is smaller and less intrusive than we were prepared for which is a huge plus. The only thing we had to change in the settings was to turn off the motion tracking as the little eye made this faint noise that was distracting when it moved and the cooling would cease if we left the room. This unit easily cools our 1250sqft first floor which is all open. Not happy with their service at all!The technician was on time and professional, however, did not do much in regards to preventative maintenance. Last service date stamp on my system was 5 years ago from a different company, and there is no way that NOTHING needs to be done! Not sure if I can recommend SureTemp!Looks like they’re only good for emergency calls versus preventative care

The people at Sure Temp are by far the best company that I have had work done by. They installed a duel zone ductless mini split system for me and I am beyond happy with the entire experience.Tom showed up to the estimate appointment early 👍👍. I received the estimate in a timely manner and any questions were immediately answered. Scheduling was quick and much faster than I expected.Installation- these guys should give classes on this. We contacted Sure Temp at the end of last summer to remove our old central air unit that had stopped working with plans on replacing the unit this year. They came out, removed and hauled away the old unit without a problem and for less (and quicker) than any other company in the area. This year we contacted them about having a new unit installed and the entire process from quote to install was quick and painless. The installers moved the location of the unit to a more convenient spot without a problem and patched up the old hookups. Everything works perfect just in time for summer weather! It was great doing business with them!

We have been using Sure Temp to service our restaurant in downtown Ithaca for about the past year and have had a wonderful experience with them thus far. They are reliable, friendly, professional and communicate well about pricing and various technical aspects of the work. They do mostly our refrigeration and recently installed a water heater to service our new dish machine. We have used several other companies that we were not able to rely on. With some of the other companies, I could not trust that the work would be done properly and with care and often times I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed for mediocre customer service and technical work. That is NOT the case with Sure Temp. So far, it's been a great experience and we hope to continue working with them for some time to come.
