I have an Aubuchon hardware in my town so when I went up to visit my son and his new home (300 miles away in NY), I wanted to go to a store that I knew and trusted (well and use my rewards points lol). Father son doing some new projects to his new home (installing a dishwasher) I went to this one in Carthage. I was assisted by a guy named Adam. I was so impressed by this guy. I left that store feeling not only 100% confident I got the right part, but also that I could finish the job with what I had (not having to return 10 times). I hardly ever do these google review things. But this one was needed. I was really impressed and grateful. Thanks Adam and thanks Aubuchon. Love these little mom and pop stores. Your in and out fast and the people know their stuff. We need more of these little stores in our towns.

The staff are friendly and go above and beyond what I would expect from a hardware store. My children hate going to hardware stores with me, except for this one. The store has a cat that the kids adore, and it keep them busy while I'm chatting with the staff. Great place to go to for parts or advice.

My husband and I have found ourselves visiting Aubuchon Hardwear (Carthage, NY) quite often. The people are always very friendly and helpful with a store that is clean, organized and ready with seasonal items. The wide variety of merchandise has been able to fullfill our needs thus far and the quality of the merchandise for sale is good with far prices. We will be returning I am confident of that!

We have purchased several items to include lawnmowers, weed-eaters, chairs, and 'honey-do' items. The customer service is always top notch. Their has always been a worker greeting me at the door and escorting me to the exact spot of the item I need. This is a small town store and price typically reflect that.

I am a first time home owner and I have had a water pressure issue for close to a year. I have been putting the problem on the back burner because let's face it a plumber is not a cheap bill to pay. I have a point system for water and didn't have a clue on how to fix my problem. I walked in to the store and a half hour later I was walking out the door with everything I needed and with the help and advice I got, I was more than excited to tackle this project on my own. Not a easy job but 6 hours later I hade a compleat new water system installed and better water pressure than I thought possible. Thanks to the team at the west Carthage NY store I saved a bundle and also learned a lot about a point system and water pumps.

This is the place to go! Prices are slightly higher, what small business isnt... However the customer service outranks any other place I have been. Personable, like remember your name personable. Helpful and honest!
