I have to admit, I have had really bad experiences in the past with projects to my home from other contractors. I decided to redo my master bathroom gutted and redone; I knew this was going to be a huge job. I decided to contact American Custom Exterior since they were highly recommended by a friend of mine. I have to say, I was definitely not disappointed. American Custom Exterior did a phenomenal job!!! They were courteous, kept me informed on everything and had overall great energy. I have already discussed having other projects done with these guys in the near future. For those who are looking for a project to be completed, I highly recommend these guys. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

We have been using American Customs for at least 15 years. At our previous and now at our current house we did major renovations at both places. We had them remodel our entire first floor, replacing our kitchen, remodeling bathrooms, installing tongue and groove wood on our ceilings, putting in a structure for an outdoor patio. The craftsmanship and knowledge that each of these workers have is by far the best we have ever seen. They work effortlessly to make sure every aspect of the job is exactly the way you had wanted it. The slogan you pay for what you get is exactly what you get when you hire American customers. Their pricing is very fair, their work is absolutely incredible, and their employees are very respectful and extremely knowledgeable. One of the owners, Bryan Goodwine drew up our entire project and made sure everything went smooth all along the way. He also offered a lot of advice regarding any changes or ideas we had as we are doing the project. He is very creative and awesome to work with. We will not hesitate to reach out to American Customs for any future work. We had 4 estimates for our roof. We decided to go with American Customs because of recommendations from friends. We couldn't have been more pleased. From the office, to Kevin, to the work staff. Everyone was always there to answer our questions! The roofing crew did a complete tear off. Everything was done in one day. Our yard was left perfect with no debris. Our neighbors commented how fast and how great our roof looks. We would call American Custom again for other work.

Hi, For 20 years we have said we were gonna have our roof done and we just put it off because it was such a big and time consuming (we thought) process, but we recently had a quote from Kevin Mondschein at American Custom Exteriors and decide to take a chance. He was very knowledgeable about the product and timetable. He gave us a good estimate and so we had it done! The roofing crew was her while I was at work, early one morning. Came home for lunch to a respectful group of workers and noted the extra steps taken to protect our landscaping and deck. Went back to work and when I returned home, the project was complete! Start to Finish - Our experience with Kevin Mondschein (Sales Associate) and the entire roofing crew was completely positive. We had our roof replaced after some storm damage. Kevin worked along with our insurance company to make the claim process extremely easy. The office staff were extremely efficient with the scheduling process and kept us informed about weather delays, material delivery, etc. The roofing crew did a complete tear off, repair and new roof all in one day! The clean-up was done by the time we got home from work and our yard was left absolutely clean of any debris! Our new roof looks amazing and we so appreciated how quickly the work was scheduled and completed! We highly recommend American Custom Exteriors!

American completed an install of 21 new windows in our home earlier this year. We could not be more pleased with the end product. The installers were courteous, professional, and did quality work. As mentioned we are so happy with the end result. The new windows have greatly enhanced the look and curb appeal of our house. We also noticed that the windows eliminate most exterior noises… we are impressed with how quiet it is in the house now. We also no longer feel cold drafts when standing near the windows in the house. I expect our home heating bills to drop. We hired American Custom to replace windows, siding and gutters and downspouts. Our sales rep, Marc Tantalo, worked diligently with us to help us achieve the look we really wanted as it was different from the norm. He provided timely advice, estimates, and was extremely patient with our questions and initial indecision on the siding. The window install team, Mike and Mike, kicked off the project. They completed their portion on time despite a couple of hiccups on the install. They were both very professional and thorough and exhibited awesome attention to detail and great workmanship. Steve and Zach and the siding team were next. They arrived promptly every morning at 7:00am to install the siding. They were professional, polite, and again provided much attention to detail and great workmanship. They were also tasked with installing the wood accents that we purchased from another vendor and they did so with precision like they were installing them on their own home. Their work area was cleaned at the end of every day before they left. Kyle, in the office, was also a wonderful contact we dealt with and she was pleasant to work with and thorough. The gutter and downspout crew provided excellent workmanship as well. I highly recommend American Custom. Crew for this organization was very professional. We contracted them to install vinyl siding, shutters, gutters, and lighting on the outside of the home, as well as remove a chimney for a stove we no longer possess.They worked efficiently and completed a bulk of the work within a week. There was a measuring error when it came to the length of the smaller shutters, so our salesman Kevin stopped by the house to see for himself. Without hesitation, he was on the phone on my front lawn with the supplier to obtain the proper size. Excellent service, for sure.The crew would set up and tear down each day, leaving the front and rear lawns (mostly) the way they found them. It was impressive and we appreciated them being conscientious and thoughtful since we have two larger dogs that we wanted to keep safe from stray nails.The house looks wonderful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to beautify the exterior of their home. It wasn't the least expensive option, but I believe the quality job we received in exchange for the slight increase in cost proved worth it, for sure.

We chose American Custom because they previously did two jobs for my in-laws, and both turned out great. We were not disappointed! Their quote was not the lowest, but Steve worked with us to make sure we stayed within budget and kept us apprised of any additional items that cost more while the work was going on. Our foreman, Juan, was absolutely fabulous! He had great ideas when we ran into snags, always communicated with me every day about what his plans were, and made sure I had input with even the smallest details. They cleaned up meticulously at the end of every day. I was even able to work from home while they were working! They also stayed within the time frame they initially told me, which is a rarity with remodeling. I am so pleased with the end result, and will definitely go to them again for future needs in our 1900s farm house. The entire team at American Custom was fantastic. Our 1905 American Four-Square home was restored and brought back to life. New windows were installed throughout the house with careful attention to match original interior wood trim and without damage to the existing trim. A gorgeous stained-glass window was installed in the front stairwell, which looks original to the home and compliments the other original stained-glass pieces throughout the house. On the outside, new fiber glass columns were installed to replace rotted wood porch columns. High quality dark blue pvc siding, with the appearance of wood grain was installed meticulously by the team to ensure seems were not obvious. Thick bright white exterior aluminum trim was carefully selected by American Custom to be time period correct, maintenance free and really made the dark blue pop. A great group of hardworking, professional people! We continue to recommend them to all family and friends.

Wish I could rate 10 STARS! American Custom was recommended to me by another siding contractor (believe it or not). After I called, it was only a matter of days before the Account Executive, Kevin M., came out to see me and discuss my project. I had already spoken with three other contractors. Kevin was the only one to ask me to walk him around the house and look at the existing siding. He asked me questions about what I wanted, what my concerns were, and listened to my answers. He showed me some options for siding and colors - we even talked about our mutual love of dogs! - and he said he'd be back in touch. Within a week, he called again and asked to come back out to present his proposal. NONE of the other contractors had bothered to do that in person - just sent an estimate, lump sum, with no itemization of what they would do, what was included, what I was getting, etc. ONLY American Custom took the time to carefully go over the estimate, again listening to my concerns, and finding the best solution for my budget. They were not the lowest estimate, but they were not the highest. They were also about $5000 above my budget - but they offered financing, at a competitively low 5.99% APR, which none of the other contractors did. They do not take a down payment - like the others insisted. All payment is collected after the job is complete. The sales team even warned me about this deceptive contracting practice - NO ONE should EVER be expected to pay up front, for a legitimate contracting job. An important lesson I can apply to all future jobs ...! They offered proof of insurance and indemnification from liability in case of an accident on the job - unlike any of the others. They provided a detailed written contract - again, taking the time to walk me through it and answer all my questions and concerns. When it came time for the job, I lucked out when they had an opening, and my siding was done about 4 weeks ahead of estimated start time. The crew foreman, Nick, and his team of installers were brilliant. They started each day around 7 am and wrapped up around 4 pm each afternoon. Every day they cleaned up the yard, swept out the garage, and even raked the flower beds where dust and debris had fallen during the course of work. Courteous, polite, respectful, fun and friendly, these guys were a true team of professionals. They also took the time to explain additional repairs and associated costs (I had some serious wood rot they discovered, in some places, which we had anticipated during the sales/estimate phase, so that was no surprise). The job was finished within 5 days, except the shutters (which came in about 2-3 days later) and the gutters (which followed about a week later). Now the project is complete and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend American Custom contractors, and plan to call them in for some interior work in the future.

We have used American Custom Exteriors and Interiors several times since we had moved into our house 10 years ago. They were highly recommended to us by the realtor and have been VERY impressed with their work ethic, quality of work and value. We have used their services for replacing the majority of the windows in our house as well as adding a huge picture window. Our latest job was for a master bathroom remodel. The staff who showed up to do this work were exceptional. They really knew their stuff and did an amazing job. It turned out better than we had imagined and everything was perfectly done. We had an extensive remodel done by American Custom that included an addition, a rebuild of both a back and front porches, siding the house and garage, a new main bathroom, and a remodeled bedroom. This project took approximately 7 months and through this whole process America Custom was wonderful. Kevin Goodwine was very helpful as the project manager and the varying crews were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. We worked with an architect through American Custom to design the addition and front porch and American Custom delivered on the plans we dreamed up. We came out on time and on budget. American Custom (Dereck and crew) did a great job! They removed the old roof and re-roofed the house in three days. The entire staff was pleasant, courteous, and professional. They did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. The work done was perfect..."keys" on the shingles were straight, flashing on the fireplace and jointed roof section was installed perfectly, and all of the drip edge was clean and straight (I was a roofer a long time ago). We used American customs after a windstorm that blew off our shingles. Kevin worked with us throughout the entire process and went above and beyond. He communicated with our insurance company and fought to get us what we deserved for our roof! They completed the work within a day and a half and we love our new roof! We worked with Steve Gallagher and had A.C.E. tear off and replace our 40 year old roof. (44 square). They did a phenomenal job. We also had A.C.E. place 14 original windows, 2 sliding glass doors and and a French door, all custom measured and installed. The materials they used are, "top shelf" and the workmanship was awesome. If we had an issue or question, Steve addressed it immediatly and took care of it or put me in touch with someone who could help resolve the issue. American Custom Exteriors rebuilt our garage, which had been crushed by a tree; their workmanship was excellent and they brought great customer service. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.Addendum: We did call them almost 2 years later for work in our kitchen, coming out once for a window estimate and then the kitchen. I have not had any follow up from them in the past month. Guess they don't want business.I still think they did a great job with the garage but am very disappointed by the current situation.

We got a quote for a roof and this process flawlessly started with Kevin the sales rep. Everything from start to finish has been outstanding. Kevin listened to us and worked with us, the roofing team led by Josh arrived and in 3 days the old roof was gone and the new one installed. All extremely friendly and professional...and oh my the clean up I am still in awe of the way they were careful with the plant and the whole clean up nothing was out of place. Organized and barely any nails found. If anyone ever had a roof done (I did previously from a different company) they know how hard that is to do. Have and will continue to recommend ACE to friends and family and anyone who will listen to us :) (we also had siding done on a previous house so we knew we were picking the A team for our roof).
