Comfort installed 13 new triple-pane windows in our home, replacing the 55 year old original windows. We are very happy with our experience with Comfort. Kate and Ryan did a great job. They arrived on time and worked very hard and continuously on both days. Kate kept me informed as she went along, and completed everything on time. They protected things with tarps and cleaned up when they were done. The windows look great, and we are looking forward to improved energy costs.

Everything was great start to finish! Mike was our salesman and did a great job picking the perfect door for our family. The installers were all great, clean well dressed, respectful gentleman that made my wife and kids feel comfortable while I was busy working. Spent the entire day at the house making sure everything was perfectly lined and didn’t seem bothered by the time it took to finish. No surprise bill at the end, just everything as explained! Will recommend to family and friends!!

Comfort is an amazing company! We had an excellent experience with them when they completed our siding, window, gutter project. Everyone we dealt with was professional and responsive. The people installing the siding even came out on days that were frigid temperatures to ensure that the work was done in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves, even vacuuming the debris after installing the windows. Our house looks beautiful now! I highly recommend Comfort, you won't be disappointed.

From start to finish, everyone that worked with us was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. John, Dave, and Mike were our crew to do the install which involved some tricky corner windows behind a tight-space and a separate rebuild of a wall and siding to replace a floor to ceiling picture window with a smaller slider. Worked hard for 2.5 days while also being extremely respectful of our space including our pets and newborn baby. Overall a very smooth experience and would recommend these guys for future projects.

Comfort Windows recently helped me install new patio windows. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. A specialist came out to discuss the project, measure, and provided window options/ estimates on the spot. Comfort Windows then provided a timeline for when the windows would be made and installed in which there were no delays. The installation crew was efficient, the windows were installed in 1.5 days, and my new patio windows look amazing.

Buyers take heed. Warranty service is a BAD JOKE and be VERY cautious of what you are actually purchasing with regard to insulation around windows. My now 13 year old windows purchased here are showing a haze between panes. This on two windows. I initiated a call for replacement under warranty in late July of 2023. It is now Feb 6 2024 and still no window. December 21, a tech came with glass that was the wrong size. No one ever came to verify the location. I sent pictures and exact location as requested but they still messed it up. I have initiated EVERY SINGLE call of which there have been over 50 and have never received a call from Comfort. I purchased 12 windows and a front door with side panes and a storm door. The front door installation required additional visits to fix the bad install. I was also not given the insulation around windows installed at that time. I was told it was an extra cost after the fact. One would expect insulation around a new window. I highly recommend you shop somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation! This mornings call for a status update: I was told the window is "In Production" and the request was only put in one month ago. This is outrageous and complete disregard for me the customer. Don't let this happen to you! Even their employees admit that warranty service is sub standard.

From start to finish Comfort was amazing.I'd gotten three other quotes on a sliding glass door from other companies. All of which were way outside of my budget. When my wife told me she called comfort I was 100 percent against it.Eddie rang my doorbell and to be honest, I had already decided it was a "no" before he even walked in. I explained to him as I had to the three before him that I didn't want anything fancy. To my surprise, unlike those that came before him, he listened! He took some measurements, and wrote up a quote. He did show me more than one option, a good, and better but did not try to push me into any direction. I gave him a deposit that night.A week later final measurements. The gentleman came, he was in and out. No issues.A month later, installation scheduled.Install day was awesome. Gary and Eric pulled in, and we're so great. Gary got right to it, they were clean, and efficient. They were equal parts professional and social.Bottom line, Comfort gained a new customer.

Mike, John and Matt did an excellent job with installation. They made sure everything was perfect, no exceptions. They all have great personalities and pleasant to have in my home. Hard workers for sure! I had 3 very large windows installed and no complaint even though they were 3 pane and heavy as hell. In addition to the three, I had two medium size windows. If there is a way to request installers, my suggestion is to request these three! The windows look beautiful and I enjoyed having these three here for the installation!!

Just had Comfort team remove our bath tub & install a new walk-in shower. It is beautiful & so much safer ! The Comfort team was great. In less than 2 days they did expert work, were friendly & informative, cleaned up after the job & removed all old parts & debris. Couldn't ask for a better result! After consulting with a couple of roofing companies we went with Comfort. A couple of years back we engaged them for a roof awning and we were very happy with that work.The whole process and engagement with employees was smooth, professional and courteous, even when we found out after the two layers of shingles were removed that the roof decking needed to be replaced the team was there to take care of us. We expected some decking in need of replacement but not the entire roof. But Larry, Steve and Mark where right there as we navigated through everything. The crew that sided our house and added new storm doors was very professional. They were diligent, kept us involved, updated and even added slight alterations as the job progressed, at our request, that added perfect touches to an overall just outstanding job. Our house is deceiving and they encountered many unforeseen challenges, never wavering from their task to ensure we were completely satisfied. Brian/Anthony/Brian were courteous, diligent, and excellent craftsmen. They cleaned the site daily - protecting my young puppy and we’re VERY appreciative of all their efforts (in trying weather to boot). This crew is both good at what they do and just plain good people. Thank you* You’re certainly welcome to have anyone come take pictures - I’m not exactly technically (I’m techno-ZERO)…no idea how to add pictures? But our house is an absolute showcase!!! Salesman did not clearly write up contract so workers were not clear on EXACTLY what was in the wall or who was doing the siding. Also once salesman takes your money, don’t try to reach him. He won’t return your calls. All other employee’s are just fine. Thank GOODNESS.

Freddy, Kate and the rest of their team did a fantastic job installing my new window! They cut the hole in the house and everything!! I am a very detail-oriented person and was very specific about window placement. They listened and were happy to do the window any way I wanted!!! Placement turned out PERFECT! They cleaned up everything and wore booties in the house before drop cloths were down. They vacuumed up all the dust and crumbs, took the insulation away and everything. I had a million questions and Freddy answered them all. He went above and beyond in so many ways, I can’t recommend them more highly!!! I had 2 offers on this window job and I am glad I chose Comfort Windows. I was so comfortable with Freddy and his team, they were a dream to work with. I know I will be calling again!!! This companies customer service is horrendous! We had our house sided by them. The siding looks great but the clean up and putting the electric back in place was horrible! None of the crew spoke English and there were buckets of nails left in our yard where our dogs play. My husband sent an email stating our concerns and no response. He then called with still no response. We were thinking of using them for a bathroon and kitchen work but no way now!

Frustrated. I am writing this review in the hope that another potential customer will consider other alternatives. I bought a sliding patio door that cost twice as much as a high end door from a big box store that I had to take out a loan for a year.Started with salesman coming in September. Nice enough guy, though he didn't tell us that the outside of of the door could come in other colors than white. I had to convince my wife that white would be fine since this door faced the woods and no one would see it. Salesman reasoned that white matches all colors of siding so that if I ever was to change the color of my siding, I would be good. If I had money to change the color of my siding I would have bought some new windows too.When we got to signing the contract, I noticed the doors on display had different colors on the outside, and he then told me this was an additional fee. Would have been nice to know this on the inital time he came out. I didn't mind since it made the wife happy. When he had someone help him fill out the invoice with the new color, he told us it would be 8 to 10 week lead time. Not a problem.Install day came exactly when service contacted me. The install team was polite and professional. Workmanship was good, door quality was not. They installed a door that had several long scratches on the outside, and the handle was loose. I wasn't happy about that, so I called service. Service came out the next day and took pictures. He ordered us a new door and tried to fix the handle that lasted a day of not being loose. 8 to 10 more weeks lead time.I get a call in the first week in February and service makes an appointment to comeout Valentine's day. I explained to my wife that we wouldn't be going out to lunch to celebrate, but we would have a new door! Valentine's day came and no one showed up. I called service and they apologized that it wasn't on the calendar, and made an appointment to come out the next week.Jerod came out third week of February, and was great. Replaced the door, fixed the handle, and YAY all good finally! But no, in a couple days the lock on the handle stopped working and I called service. I was told someone would call me back. Nope. Got a text asking for pictures and then they would determine if the warranty covered this. Called the next day, talked to service, we will call you back. No one has called me back and now I am stuck with this situation.

We replaced 40 + windows on our 64 yr. old home and could not have been more impressed or pleased! It took them 2 weeks to complete and their team was efficient, courteous, highly skilled and CLEAN! We highly recommend them without any hesitation. With a job this big, things do go bump in the night but they got this! Kudos to Jon, Merle, James and Eric -- best crew ever!!!!!We next plan to do our three season room and bathrooms. We are not shopping around -- we spoke to our sales rep Chris already to say next year, the only call we will make is Comfort. We are that thrilled. Finally, there's a company that does what it promises to do.

They worked with me on the install date(s) and were able to meet my needs. Kept me posted throughout.The install crews (Merle, Eric, Jon, Paul, Matt, and James) were professional, courteous, and did a quality job throughout. They arrived on time, kept the work areas neat and clean, and kept me informed. At the end of the day Merle did a final walk-thru and showed me how to operate, clean, and maintain the windows. Fantastic job guys!

We were blessed when we bought our home 4 years ago that all the previous homeowners did an amazing job with maintenance and upgrades over the years. The only deficiency was that the home still had its original 30 year old windows. We knew from day one that we needed to replace them sooner than later.We saved up and finally called highly-recommended Comfort Windows last August. Our salesperson, Don, was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained all our options in great detail without any pressure tactics.We chose the window line manufactured by Comfort Windows themselves in Syracuse. 20 windows, triple-paned, one layer of Low-E coating and argon filling. Our house is a traditional colonial so we stuck with the grids on the front but left them out in the rear. We even changed some windows to picture windows. Wow! What an amazing great decision. The light and views are just gorgeous. We also replaced a sliding door between the house and a sunroom addition.Comfort Windows are great quality and affordable. The craftsmanship is top notch. Great value for the product.Like many others acknowledged, our project was delayed by 3 months due to the pandemic. We were originally given a November installation time frame, but didn’t get them installed until February.The real heroes of this project were Paul and Chris. Temperatures in the teens, thick snowpack, heavy lake effect snow, nothing stopped these guys. They were very professional, polite, COVID conscious, and did quality workmanship through some really tough weather conditions. A few other guys popped in here and there to lend a hand, but I didn’t get to meet them. Paul and Chris were “our guys” and we welcomed them into our home like family.When all said and done, we absolutely love our new Comfort Windows. The energy efficiency ratings are spectacular and we can’t wait until we stick it to RG&E. We used a thermometer to check the difference. While it was 12-degrees outside, our original double-paned windows averaged 40 degrees on the face. Imagine, that’s like leaving multiple refrigerators wide open 24/7. The new Comfort Windows were 60 to 65 degrees on the face of the glass. What a difference! We actually had to turn down our thermostat because we were sweating at night.The windows are gorgeous and you can just tell that they were built to last well into the future. A great investment with no buyers remorse.You just can’t beat Comfort Windows. Don’t believe the hype of the overrated national brand. How can a window made to be “one size fits all” serve the climates of California, Florida, Arizona and the winters of New York? These windows are made in New York. These windows are made for New York. Support local businesses and local hard working men and women.UPDATE: 12/2021. Comfort Windows stands behind its product. We had four windows that in the spring-summer-fall expanded and became difficult to open. We called Comfort to request a warranty repair. No questions asked, a tech over and agreed that some adjustments were needed. A few weeks later, a crew came on site to make the fixes. Now they’re perfect again.

I am extremely impressed! Shower install finished today, we went from a tub to just a stand in shower. The installers were very professional and respectful of my home. VERY clean, they did not leave any mess behind when they went home after demoing the old tub and tile, extremely tidy. The noise was kept to a minimum which was nice as well. Shower looks fantastic, I appreciate it getting done so quickly, and you can tell they took the time to be sure everything was done perfectly, not rushing to get it done. Our house is over 120 years old. So installation of doors and windows is a challenge as nothing is level and few openings are plumb. Gary is an absolute master at making the necessary accommodations and modifications so that doors and windows are snug and secure. He doesn't quit til its the best it can be.
