Amherst roofing did an amazing job replacing my roof recently (complete tear off). Everyone I spoke with at Amherst roofing was very professional and helpful. During the roof replacement the supervisor Nick was on site. He kept me in the loop with the progress and explained each step as it was happening. Nick even took photos with a drone and sent them to me when the job was finished. I would recommend them to anyone looking for roof work!

We met Amherst Roofing and 4 other roofing companies at The Buffalo Home Show. We received 5 estimates. Amherst Roofing came in about the middle. You get a gut feeling when you meet someone…can you trust them, are they being honest. After meeting Denis at our home for an onsite estimate…we knew Amherst Roofing was the right company for us. Our feelings were further confirmed after working with Paul, Nick, the girls in the office and the work crew. We are so pleased with the customer service we received and our new roof! Nick was on site the entire day and addressed questions we had throughout the process. The crew worked hard throughout the day. We were told it was a one day job and they delivered on that promise. The cleanup process was impressive! We highly recommend Amherst Roofing for your next roof project!

Out of 3 roofers, they were the only ones to show up. They were very knowledgeable and professional and polite. Alex was a huge help, explaining everything in a timely and courteous manner. After finishing they left not a trace they were there except a beautiful new roof. Would highly recommend and would use again, not that I'll ever need them.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Amherst Roofing. We reached out to them to set up an estimate for our roof and gutter damage. The receptionist was very helpful and she promptly scheduled our estimate for the beginning of the following week. On that day, the employee showed up on time and took the time to examine our damage and provided his feedback about what he thought, explaining he would send us a quote by the end of the day. At the end of the day we had not received a quote, but we do understand people are busy and decided to wait a few days before calling. A few days later, we still had not received the quote and decided to call. We were told there wasn’t anyone in the office and they would return our call as soon as they could. It has been over a week with several failed attempts of contact and still no quote. It disappoints me to see a small local business act so unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and keep on looking.

These guys made everything so easy for me. They were able to come out quickly after my gutter and soffit fell off the back of my house leaving my attic exposed. They tarped everything off while I handled the insurance. Once everything was approved, they were out with 2 weeks to fix everything. I would definitely use them again!

I had an emergency leak during the last storm that we had. Called Amherst Roofing and they were very prompt and were able to come out and give us an estimate the next day. They were able to come out the same week to start working on our roof. Workers were quick efficient and very professional. Roof came out looking beautifully. Paul was very knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process, as well as answered any questions that we had. Definitely one of the best companies I have ever used highly recommend.

Unlike most of the one-star reviews, I did have an on-time appointment and received a quote - what appeared to be a good one.But upon further questions to them ... they realized they left pieces out and then made various exceptions regarding specific wording interpretation to weasel out of the quote and add cost after the fact.If you sign up, make sure the words on the contract say exactly what work you need done.

I almost never write reviews but we had Amherst Roofing replace our roof one week ago. They gave us a very competitive estimate, and were conscious of our budget and ways we could save money (e.g. gutters could last a few more years before being replaced); Alex was the one who did our estimate. He said they were probably available to come in two weeks, and in almost exactly that time they appeared, working late the entire day to make sure all the work was done in one day. I have not been on the roof but from my windows overlooking it, and the pictures Paul took when he came by for the final inspection, it looks like a superior job; definitely no leaks anymore. Easy to work with, concerned that things are done right. Property and driveway were cleaned thoroughly of debris and nails. I've already recommended them to one of my neighbors.Service: Roof installation

So I had approximately 12 different roofing companies come out for estimates. The job was new decking , 6 ft ice shield. Starter strips, ridge venting, Owens Corning duration architectural shingles. And new gutters. Amherst roofing, was the last one to come out for an estimate and beat everybody else. They showed up on the day they were supposed to. They got to work immediately and wow! What a great job they did. I mean really can't do better than Amherst roofing. They were friendly courteous and professional. And all at a great price. If you need roofing or siding done I strongly recommend Amherst roofing. I mean simply put they're the best.

We have had multiple great experiences with Amherst Roofing. They helped us out when some shingles blew off our roof- they came out almost immediately to make repairs in the middle of winter. We ended up replacing the roof later on and went with Amherst Roofing and we could not be happier. They were extremely fast, we have a large roof with multiple levels and a garage that they finished in a day and a half. They were very professional and friendly throughout the whole process, and the roof looks great! Don’t waste your time booking an estimate. They couldn’t be bothered to provide a quote despite numerous follow up attempts on our part.I would however recommend contacting Buffalo roofing and Ava roofing. They were very prompt and professional!

I called Amherst roofing to come and look at my roof and skylight that was leaking. I had the complete roof installed 5 yrs ago by another company (who failed to return my 6 calls). Amherst roofing was professional and did a great job! They were on time and were very pleasant to work with! Had an appointment set for 6/6/22 with Alex for a roof replacement estimate. He never showed up, never called or emailed. I then reached out, no one answered the phone but sent me a text instead asking what they can help with. When I responded Patricia said she would look into and get back to me. Never heard back from her either. Crazy to me that a business can operate this way. However I see similar reviews for them so not surprised really.

We Live in West Seneca. We chose Amherst Roofing from few different contractors based on their time in business and experience. Chris brought some samples and left them with us so we had time to pick what we want. The asphalt roofing shingle we chose was Storm Cloud by Owens Corning and the roof turned out to be amazing! It looks SO BEAUTIFUL! We expected to have 2 layers of shingle to tear off but to our surprise there were 4 layers! They cleaned after the job perfectly. They were very professional. I cannot express enough how professional and well ran this company is. I haven't dealt with a more friendly company than Amherst. As this is my second roof I've had to replace I can honestly say this is definitely gonna be my last. The roof needed to be done several years ago, so when a huge tree branch slammed onto it , it actually dented the roof. Paul came out assessed the situation and said no problem.
