This crew installed nine skylights, including an unusually difficult first floor bathroom skylight with shaft access to the roof. My home now boasts a beautiful golden glow of sun on the natural wood walls, ceilings, and floors. Not to mention that four of the nine skylights provide spectacular views of Lake Ontario from our loft bedroom suite. Fitch’s crew are a stellar group of focused professionals who take obvious pride in their work.I knew that this was a challenging project from the start, but Fitch made it happen with panache. My hat is off to all the professionals at Fitch Construction for making my lakeside log cabin a brighter and more livable forever home. I’m a very happy customer!!

Nick and Myroslav at Fitch did a great job of being considerate about mess and noise during our full (down to the studs and flooring) to give us a very fabulous experience and bathroom that is more functional and meets all our needs. Supply delays occurred which is a new norm in today's economy, and we were kept advised of them, and the timeline effect it created. We just had our basement renovation completed by Fitch Construction. After living here for 12 years, and the basement flooding the last 3 years due to rising lake levels, we had our basement waterproofed and then were looking for a company to do the renovation. I am so glad I came across Fitch on google...From the very first meeting Dave was so kind and professional. He answered all of our questions/concerns. After getting a few different estimates, we chose to go with Fitch and I am so glad we did!Throughout the entire process leading up to demo - and all throughout the project everyone did a great job. They were on the site every day and never stopped! Each person was so easy to work with and any issue or changes that came up during the job were promptly and easily handled.I would 100% recommend Fitch to any of my family and friends. The photos and videos speak for themselves. Having work done on your home can always be stressful, but it was much easier than expected with Fitch! Thank you so much for doing an amazing job! We had a Velux Sun tunnel put in our back hallway. The work crew did a great job. Job was done in the time specified and clean up was good. We are very happy with the product and would recommend Fitch Construction (even for small jobs). This is the hallway, the first picture is the same morning as installation. The second picture is the sun tunnel doing a great job lighting up the hallway. No more turning lights on to go out to the garage.

We were looking to convert a tired screened porch, under attack by red squirrels, to a 3-season room. We didn't want the 'typical' white pop-out that seems to be everywhere, but wanted to keep the same flavor of a hideaway cabin. From the1st meeting with David Cerrone, "he got it." The process was complex due to the condition of the original construction, and the room was built as if new, from the ground to the existing roof. The crew, led by Mike, created artistry from destruction. We love it!

We went with Fitch to replace a 3 season room roof based on the number of positive comments but I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed with the experience. Some items we could brush off as issues due to COVID supply chain issues but others have been ongoing and continue to be frustrating. One of the most frustrating is being asked for feedback with no response or at least acknowledgement of the issues (the below feedback has been provided to Fitch directly 3 times with no response).Let's start from the beginning...- We decided to go with Fitch in summer of 2021. There was limited communication to timelines or expectations. I believe some of the first updates were communicated in December/January timeframe.- Once materials were received, and the project started (July 2022), the roof was torn off but after tear off, it was realized that the materials received were too short so adjustments to the plan needed to be made. This was fine except that there was not enough material to finish the job. This resulted in a large hole being left in the roof until additional materials were received. The roof was covered with a tarp, but the hole not supported, so when a storm came through, there was a large pool of water where the hole was. The night of the storm was spent removing water from the pooling area in the tarp, and trying to dry the interior (that was soaked). Fitch did send someone out to build a support structure but no acknowledgement of the damage done or the hours of time spent dealing with this overnight.- Screens were cut and damaged during the construction. Not sure why the screen was needed to be cut, but was cut in a straight line. There was no communication of this to us and we found it while dealing with the water issues. This was fixed and screens replaced, but we needed to reach out multiple times to find out when we could expect the screens back. There was also a missed commitment with no follow-up in that we were told the screens would be delivered on a Friday, didn't show up with no communication as to why, and I had to reach out to see why only to be told they'd be delivered on Tuesday.- When the roof was finally complete, there were scheduling issues between the roofers and Fitch that caused the roof shingles to be completed before the remaining work. This has caused water to pool at the end of the roof and water to drain behind the gutter and end cap. Fitch has tried to fix this about 3x to no avail and continues to result in having to spend time contacting, asking for status, and essentially project managing a job that we paid for. This issue is still not fixed and has been ongoing for about 2 months now (October 2022 at time of post) with enough water to start showing rust stains on the bottom of the aluminum for a roof installed only a few months ago.As I mentioned, all this has been shared with Fitch so should come as no surprise. We have received multiple asks to provide feedback, have provided, and heard nothing in response. They are addressing the issues, but be prepared to follow up and continue to poke and prod for updates yourself instead of the project being handled fully by them.

Very pleased with Fitch Construction ! My 3 season porch came out beautifully. Salesperson Dan Leone & I first met late fall. He showed me various options, very personable & helpful. Once under contract the office staff kept me updated on all facets which I really appreciated. Mike Ely and his crew were very professional, polite and worked hard.I would definitely recommend Fitch Construction!

Fitch Construction remodeled our basement, including a mini kitchen, moving light switches and receptacles. They did a great job and always broom swept each night before leaving. The next spring we had them rework our Florida room to remove the jealousy windows and storm door and replace them with 3 large double slider windows, a new steel-windowed door and storm, and re-doing the siding. Again they did a great job.

Fitch Construction made my two car garage a better storage area for gardening, off season clothes and once a year Holiday decorations. I have no basement. With their help we came up with a plan and estimated a starting date. The project started on time and was completed in about a month. The workmen that they sent were very capable and most pleasant. I am a "happy camper"!

Revised 11/27/2022- Dave (President) reached out to look into situation and see what could be done. Thank you for making the contact.We scheduled an initial appointment for a deck/3 season for a new home with the possibility of a basement once the home was completed. When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked if there were appointments at night or weekends and was told that appointments were only scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.We were assigned a designer and I spoke with the designer 1 week prior to the appointment about the project (for about 10 minutes) and upon request, sent an overview of what we were looking for. The designer contacted me via text 1 1/2 hour prior to the appointment and said that she had just read the email again and was not versed in sun room and deck elements of the job and we would need to reschedule with someone else. Based on the timing of this notice, arrangements had been made with the home builder to be on site, for alternative transportation for children and work schedules.I received an email from the office the following day indicating that they were notified that the "primary project interest" was changing to a sun room and Deck without an apology. A rescheduled appointment was made for 9/30 with a designer at 4:00 PM, and the designer did not show up or call. After contacting the office, they apologized and shared that the designer was with another client and was not aware that he had this appointment as it wasn't updated in his system. Arrangements had been made a second time with the home builder, alternative transportation for children and work schedules. We again asked about if there were later appointments or weekends were possible based on the second hiccup and were told that the designer we were scheduled with offered 6:00 PM appointments. The office said they would contact the designer to see if he was available the following Monday 10/3 and sent an email confirmation of the appointment.On Monday 10/3, I contacted the office to ensure the appointment was set to go and the appointment was confirmed that our designer would be there. The designer did not show up or call again, and the office was closed by this time. We contacted the office via email asking for a member of leadership to call back to discuss and did not receive a follow up call the following day. My husband contacted the office in the afternoon on 10/4 to discuss this and was asked what could be done to make this right. At this point, we were not willing to have a 4th appointment scheduled but asked for a manager to contact us back to discuss the series of events and never received a call back to discuss.After 3 appointments, we never even ended up meeting with a designer to discuss our project.

Fitch Construction installed a new composite deck at our Bed & Breakfast in the Finger Lakes. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish. We had a wide range of colors to choose from.I do need to express special recognition to the crew who removed our old deck. It was an extremely hot and humid day and they worked very hard with no complaints. It is a pleasure to have polite and professional people doing the job right.

I recently had a remodel done which involved half of my house. The whole process was organized incredibly well. Initial meeting with Matt produced a great plan for how to proceed. Subsequent meetings to select flooring, fixtures, etc went smoothly. I met Paul who coordinated the project and was easy to reach and communicate with throughout the project. Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic, work force was cut to one man after the first 2 weeks. Tracy was such a hard worker! He took his time to do things right. He often stayed late to finish whatever he was working on. His work is impeccable, and the finished product is beautiful! Pat and his crew, who did the hardwood flooring, were also excellent. They were quick, did a great job, and left the rooms spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone seeking really professional work with easy communication throughout the process.

On time for the consultation and the day the work was performed, The office staff kept me up to date on the shipping of material and when we could schedule the work. The two men who came to complete the work wore masks and were very professional while here. I am very happy with the work they did. Left the work area spotless, much appreciated.

I used them for my kitchen remodel in 2017 and was very pleased with the result. Paul and his worker, Jeremy, were always in communication with me about everything. Recently I hired Fitch to install a new range hood and unfortunately in the middle of their job, I had an unexpected water flooding from the second floor bathroom into the kitchen and ruined the walls, ceiling, and floors. Paul was very accommodating with my situation and moved me on the list to get the bathroom and kitchen fixed immediately. Paul and the workers would check in with me from time to time to give me options and make sure I was satisfied with the plan before doing it. Paul, Jason, and Ian did a fantastic job.

Fitch repaired my Velux skylight after I was working with the contractor for months to no avail, user error. Once I got in touch with Velux and they sent me the new motor, Fitch immediately came and replaced and viola I had a working skylight within less than 2 weeks after waiting since May 2020 for the contractor that put them in to resolve. One year later, some of the flooring materials used in the remodel had defects from the manufacturer. I reached out to Paul, and no questions asked, he had a crew out replacing & repairing the floor. Our skylight was leaking Fitch replaced our sky light and with all the rain we had in the month of July not 1 drop. Everyone we worked with was great, they were very professional and knowledgeable, We will call Fitch first, if we need any repairs or if we do any improvements on our home.

Don't expect follow up service or professional installers. They attempted to install 3 skylights for me. Two did not meet mfg. standards (had to be redone) and the third created an eye sore that they have yet to correct. I have been attempting to get service since 10/17.Additionally, one installer was so customer hostile that I had him removed from the site. The initial interior trim carpenter was incompetent. Had work done by others.It's impossible to make phone contact with the owner to address my concerns-which they have acknowledged but done nothing to schedule.Once they get your money, trying to get warranty service has been nothing but promises with no action. They have lowered the resale value of my property due the unsightly work on front of home where the problem skylight is located.Update- The problem was corrected . Service person was very careful and completed the work to my satisfactions

Fitch Construction was the company we chose after getting opinions and quotes from other companies to add a sunroom and increase our kitchen space by decreasing the size of the garage. The sunroom was beautiful and the newly increased kitchen space was much welcomed.This was where it ended. We have had several water leaking issues with sunroom due to poor construction. We have had a huge water leaking issue with the window installed in the kitchen addition. Each time we called Fitch and someone did reluctantly come to check out the problem we were told it was another problem and not the way it was constructed or installed. After having two different construction companies come and fix their mistakes it cost us more money to do so. Both these companies showed us the shoddy workmanship done by the Fitch construction team and how it should have been done correctly the first time. It cost us dearly to correct their mistakes that they would not own up to. The water leaks have all been fixed by other companies. We felt like we were in an episode of Holmes on homes when we were shown the shoddy workmanship of this company.During this process the name of Fitch Construction has been tarnished among their competitors as they asked who actually did such shoddy work. Not only would we not recommend them but other companies will spread the word among the community to further tarnish their credibility.

We had a greenhouse installed by them about 6 years ago. We have had trouble with it since then. It was installed incorrectly (even by their admission) . They sent incompetent and inexperienced people to install it. At first, they did send people out to look at it, and the last representative admitted that it had been flashed incorrectly. They did not show up to remedy the problem, and refused to answer my calls. We are now hiring someone else to repair the major leaks between the greenhouse and our home.Update: 7/9/19 Fitch sent someone to replace the leaking roof, and said they are in the process of working on the problems they can. 11/8/19: After a few months, we repainted the ceiling in the adjoining room, and it seems to be dry. The remainder of the problems are not fixable. If you use them, you will need to be the supervisor and coordinator, as they do this very poorly.

Well it has been 1 year since Fitch installed my windows and I am still waiting for them to do the repairs they agreed needed to be done and agreed to do. Dave and Brian have come to “look” at the job at least twice, Dave, Brian and james have made Ann appearance, Brian alone and with James have shown up to take notes no less than five times. It’s always the same—nothing gets done. Windows are not installed properly, need repair, wrong window design was ordered(7 windows) and installed. The list goes on ad infinitum. They even tried to blame sunrise for recently sending the wrong windows that were to replace the wrong windows Fitch ordered. I was supposed to see the window, but guess what— someone threw them away. Now who in their right mind would believe that. Shame on you Brian. Well, clearly Fitch does not stand by their product and has great difficulty delivering quality workmanship. STILL WAITING!

Fitch Construction did a full kitchen remodel for us. We don't have enough words to express how much we love the new kitchen. The design they came up with proved much needed room and cabinet space, while still adhering to the same space. Paul and his team did a beautiful job. They were always on time, courteous and pleasant. We also had a small, full bathroom placed in the basement. This replaced our "Harry Potter" toilet. Literally, a toilet under the stairs.When minor snags happened, they were discussed and fixed with ease. All our questions were answered in a timely fashion. We highly recommend Fitch Construction for your next project.

Designer McKenna came to see our space. Promised quote in 1 week - never emailed or called me. She actually used to work for a different company who I had come quote work and she did the same thing. I don’t need to be chasing down contractors - who has time for that?!
