We are in the process of installing Solar on our house and it made sense to replace our roof prior to doing the solar install. We looked at several contractors and went with Atlantic after doing some research as well as the fact they had worked previously with our solar vendor making it a smoother project overall.From my first interaction with Robert, it was a great experience. Extremely responsive, patient with my questions, and very detailed/clear about what to expect, etc.The crew arrived on time in the morning and was done by late afternoon. You would never know they were here - the level of detail in their cleanup afterwards alone was worth going with them! The roof looks amazing - I watched throughout the day and could see each phase of the install and could tell they were professionals that knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. I'm so glad that I went with Atlantic Exteriors Inc. for my recent roof replacement. I needed to have my roof replaced before a solar installation in Queens, NY and Atlantic was recommended by my solar company. Donna and Danielle from the office staff were very easy to coordinate with via phone and email from the beginning to the end of the project. The full roof replacement took 2 days of working from ~7:30am - ~6:00pm. Pedro and his crew were especially attentive to cleaning up after the job (they left the yard cleaner than when they started). I definitely recommend going with this company if you need your roof replaced.

I have nothing but praise for this company, it was a pleasure dealing with them. I had to have my roof and a chimney replaced in preparation for solar installation and the process went seamlessly from the initial communication to the completion of the roof. Donna and Ryan were pleasant and easy to talk to, although I must've given them a headache with how many of their phone calls I had missed, they were always understanding and respectful. Melvin and the crew that did the installation took pride in their work - they were meticulous, respected my property, and cleaned up immaculately. Would definitely choose them again.

Great experience with AEI. Donna was great over the phone. She was very responsive and attentive to our specific project. Melvin and his crew were awesome during the install day. They were all very professional throughout the project. Melvin was able to deal with issues that came up during the day without missing a beat. The jobsite was very tidy when they were all done. I cannot recommend Rob and Atlantic exteriors highly enough!My husband and I bought our first house in 2021 and it is 100 years old. We knew it was a fixer upper and would need a new roof. We decided to pursue solar panels as a part of getting a new roof for the federal tax benefits, our solar company Empower set us up with Rob and Atlantic Exteriors to repair the roof before getting solar panels. I am so grateful this occurred! Rob and his team went above and beyond, and in a single day did a TOTAL RIP AND RE-ROOF of our large pitched roof, back shed roof, and smaller front roof. The team was professional, arrived at 8am, and a large crew of men led by the masterful foreman Pedro did an amazing job communicating with me and working hard all through the day. The old roof had multiple layers of old decayed shingles and the wood under our roof needed a lot of replacing, and our house is semi-attached to another house with a roof in disrepair, and the team did an amazing job of addressing these complexities to get the job done well. The cleanup was mindblowingly thorough, and they were generous and also removed some satellite dishes from our roof and chimney that were from the former owner. They were also so careful to make sure my neighbor's house and lawn on both sides was clean and protected!All of the new roof material is covered with a great lifetime warranty (super high quality Timberline Shingle system, top of the line stuff and gorgeous colors options). The estimate cost was competitive with other roofers in the area (we are in Brooklyn).They did such a good job, all my neighbors keep asking "who did that great job on your new roof" Thank you Rob, Pedro the foreman, and Atlantic Exteriors!Edit:In 2024, I am here to update this review, and I wish I could give it 10 stars!Recently, our electrician found a small leak inside of our walls, and suggested that we call our roofer to check it out. We called Atlantic exteriors, and Donna was amazing at promptly getting someone to our home to investigate the issue. Pedro, the foreman, did an incredible job examining the outside of our home, and was able to identify where the leak was coming from. The leak was in fact coming from a mistake made by a separate siding company, but now thanks to Pedro's diagnostics we will be able to go to them for a repair. Atlantic Exteriors also helped to temporarily waterproof my home for peace of mind while I work on getting the siding repair, even though the siding issue was not their fault.The whole experience made me realize how ABOVE AND BEYOND this company is. They treated me like a family member, didn't make me feel guilty or like a nuisance for reaching out, and they quickly helped me figure out the problem and the solution, and all of this was over 2 years after they did my roof.If you care about your home and long-term security, I HIGHLY recommend Atlantic Exteriors for your roofing needs.Service: Roof installation

Very Pleased! In preparation for solar panels, I was told the dreaded news that my current roof would need to be replaced. This was shown to me using pictures and drone footage of my roof and the areas of concern. And that was the worst of it. All my inquiries and concerns were answered; there were no surprises.My conversations started with Donna, who I was in relentless contact with during the planning phase and the unpredictable spring rains. She and I scoped out the weather for days on end, consulting each other and the weather gods in anticipation of the best day to install our roof. Donna is a Gem - her good nature, patience, and sense of humor made this planning part quite pleasant.When the clouds finally parted, Melvin (my new best friend) and his team arrived bright and early to remove my old roof. They worked expeditiously; once the old roof was gone, they inspected and then worked on installing the new roof with new skylight.It took the entire day - and the roof looks fabulous! I could tell my old roof was poorly done when I compared it to the new one - Melvin and his men took care to do a meticulous job and it showed. Melvin even sent me pictures of the parts of my roof that could not be easily seen on the ground.There’s a reason why Atlantic has so many consistently good reviews, mine included. On-site, they were early and very clean - I was impressed seeing tarps put all around the house! Our house had a 40 year old roof - original wood lath, cedar shakes with an asphalt shingle roof laid over the original. Tearing the old roof off was some job and crated a lot of debris. Our crew foreman, Melvin and his crew did an amazing job of cleaning up the demolition debris, my yard was so clean, no nails or wood splinters. All of the men were friendly and professional. I just had the work done and it looks great. Time will tell, of course, how great it holds up. What I’d like to relay is that they really cleaned up after themselves. They did the entire roof, removing old shingles, etc. When I got home, all that was left of their extensive and backbreaking work was a beautiful roof and a few stray pieces of cellophane strips blown by the wind. It has not been my experience as of late that workers really clean up after themselves. These guys really did. I just want to add that anybody doing work in your attic or on your roof deserves a nice tip. I’ve torn down and done my own roof before. It’s hot as hell up there. I really respect that they cleaned up after themselves after such an exhausting job. You have no idea how hot it gets in an attic and on a roof. I don’t know how they do it. I hope it all works out in the long run so that I can count this experience among the more satisfying of my home improvement endeavors.Service: Roof installation

I cannot say enough about Rob and his crew!!Rob was very quick to reply to our message for an estimate to replace our roof. He was very thorough and came back with an extensive and detailed estimate. He was so easy to work with, replying quickly to the endless questions and offered his opinions but still leaving the final choices to us. We even called him back to add the gutters to the job and it was not a problem he just adjusted our previous estimate.His crew was at our home when he said they would be there and when the job was completed it looked as if no one had worked there. My husband and I really had a great experience with Atlantic Exteriors. We started having problems with a very old roof. On the recommendation of a friend we called Rob to come for a free consultation. He was pleasant and professional, and we hired him to put in the badly needed new roof. It has been several years since he did the work and although we have been through many rain and snowstorms we have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. Rob was very fair in his pricing, worked with a great crew, and our roof still looks as good as it did on the day Atlantic finished the job.

We had a new roof put on by Atlantic Exteriors approximately 14 years ago. The job was done quickly and neatly. The guys were respectful of our property and professional. Rob Sota and his crew did a remarkable job installing my new roof and maintaining my gutters. I did get quite a few roof estimates before deciding and ultimately chose Rob. He met all of my expectations and even surpassed them. The crew did a great roof installation and cleaned up everything when finished (and I am very fussy about that). The gutter cleaning... very, very satisfied. As neat as could be and a very fair price. I highly recommend Atlantic Exteriors.
