Since Covid it has been impossible to find good electricians in the area that are responsive and decently priced. Ross electric is definitely a great company. They are responsive, decently priced and thorough. I called because my thermostat’s stopped working and my heat would not turn off causing my downstairs to be a sauna! They came right away. Definitely gained a loyal customer. I’m happy with the work they did!

Ross Electric installed a Generac backup generator at my home and has provided annual service on this generator. In all of my dealings with Ross Electric, the staff has been courteous and knowledgeable and has always responded promptly to my requests. This level of service is not frequently provided by electricians or other professionals and I have come to feel spoiled in my dealings with Ross, from the service people to the receptionist/scheduler who has been my most frequent point of contact. This is a quality operation that leaves its customers satisfied with all power restored.

Local “Mystery” Guide

This company gave me a time between 2-3 pm. After waiting weeks to get the appointment situated they never showed up. I was home at 1:45 even after calling to confirm days out and previous day. They then preceded to be rude, say I was being rude when I wasn't. They lied about calling me and my phone being disconnected which it is not. They also said that they were at my house, they were never there I have working cameras. Then said they aren't coming and I need to find a new company. Car in driveway don't you think you'd knock? Phone works just fine. Worst local business experience of my life.*They are now having family and friends make fake reviews to boost the Google reviews! Can't make this stuff up 🤣

Contacted Company Sept 15 to repair my Generac 14kw generator. Repairman arrive Sept 29 to look at it. He was a very nice guy and discovered the problem. said he had to find out about parts.I Never heard back so I contacted them October 18 to see what was happening. Said they couldn't get parts. Finally, on October 28, I ordered parts online and received them November 3rd. I installed them the next day and everything is fine.

A trucking company making a U-turn whacks a utility pole at our facility in Thompsonville NY at 10:30 am, call to Ross, a tech is on-site within 30 minutes. NYSEG and telecom co's replaced pole and service, Ross had new service mast & reconnected before the utility co's were finished. Can't get better service than Ross Electric - thanks guys!

We got an EV charger installed. Chose a charger approved by Pseg. They came out quickly, adapted to our last minute changes, got the work done quickly. Got it done with minimal sheetrock damage and left the place clean. But the most important thing they did, was Lenore in the back office followed up with me for the inspection, the many Pseg requirements after the fact to get that process completed. Took forever with Pseg and still waiting for it's completion, but Ross Electric always responded and helped get what was needed. Thank you.Service: Installation
