We hired Nurzia Construction to remove and replace a wraparound deck (with roof), add a bump-out to the deck, and to build a portico over our back door. From beginning to end Nurzia proved to be professional, timely, fair in price, respectful, and deeply committed to doing the job right. Jim was absolutely amazing with pricing and contract negotiation and Chris was THE BEST on site. He kept us informed and was responsive via email to any questions we had. All of the workers that came to our house were hard working and true craftsmen. They were respectful and kept the site neat and organized. We couldn't have asked for a better end result and for a better all-around experience. Nurzia Construction is a class act. Fair, honest and truly a diamond in the rough. We highly recommend them.

My house had tremendous water damage and an entire bathroom and part of the adjoining bedroom needed to be gutted and re-built. It was made worse when a dangerous type of mold was found once we got down to the studs.Nurzia was AMAZING! From CJ helping me navigate the horrible and confusing world of my insurance company, to Rob PM'ing the job beyond every expectation, to the team going above and beyond anything I'd ever experienced before, Nurzia was there and they were on top of it. I really can't say enough good things about them. The only thing worse than renovating is repairing/restoration, and if I ever (hopefully not) have to do one of them again, I would be thrilled to have Nurzia take the helm.

We experienced a flood in the lower level of our ranch-style house. Our insurance company connected us to Nurzia to handle the reconstruction of the damaged rooms. They were fantastic! Rob was our project manager and he was so communicative and patient throughout the whole process. As part of the reconstruction, we wanted to make a few changes / improvements to the space and he was excellent at brainstorming ideas with us. He completely understood our vision and concerns, and worked with us to make it happen, and he came by nearly every day to check on the work and check in with us about our satisfaction. The crew was extremely professional, respectful, and communicative. After my chimney fire my insurance company sent adjusters from Nurzia to inspect and quote the damage. I (along with many other people) don't trust insurance companies and the people they recommend, which means that when the team from Nurzia showed up I expected to have to fight my way through the project and chase them down to make sure they finish the work and finish it correctly. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong about Nurzia and their construction crews. I had them in for demo, drywall, painting, replacing floors, moving windows and doors, reinsulating, rebuilding my chimney, replacing my wood burning insert, and running new electric. The project was fairly extensive, they had to work around preexisting structural conditions, AND do battle with the local building department. Their work was impeccable, their crews are timely and clean, and they are very reasonably priced. I greatly enjoyed working with Rob throughout the entire process. He is a "Customer first" Project Manager. He worked around my schedule and other constraints to make sure I was comfortable with the process, and he personally did multiple walk throughs for Quality Control at each step of the process. I will be calling them for all future projects.Service: Home renovations

Nurzia Construction literally came into my house and destroyed my property and belongings .After I had flood damage they came to restore it and scratched my dining room table, my bedroom dresser, my flat screen tv . In addition to that the paint job was terrible. Not only did they paint my walls, ceiling The top of my refrigerator was painted , along with my marble floor, and my kitchen sink .They were supposed to do 2 coats of paint throughout the apartment and only did one. My bedroom floor is scratched and the fire proof door to the entrance of my unit was dented after they forced my furniture through it.I would not recommend this company to anyone.Services: Install flooring, Paint indoors, Painting

I cannot recommend Nurzia Construction highly enough. They were recommended to me by my Insurance Company when a pipe failed in my house damaging portions of three floors. From the first moment of contact until work was completed, every person I interacted with was competent, responsible, and very, very kind. They made navigating a difficult situation so much easier and I really appreciate the great job that they did, the fact that I could 100% rely on what they said and their efficiency. Work was completed in two weeks which I found amazing. The care that Jesse, Sean, Matt extended to me throughout will remain with me every time I move around my house. I also want to say thanks to Erin who helped me understand pieces of the process that I needed explained. The time they were here happened to overlap with their company picnic. This is a fantastic construction company!! We had significant damage to our home from the macro burst in May 2018. We needed a new roof, repairs to the exterior and the whole house needed to be repainted. Rob Natale and his crew, plus the terrific subcontractors Rob brought in, all did a fabulous job and we could not be more pleased! Rob came to our house frequently to do a hands-on review of the work and was always available by cell phone if we had any questions. The price was fair and everything was handled in an extremely above board and professional manner. We will absolutely use Nurzia again should we need any additional work done on our home! They are great!!

Absolutely fantastic. We hired a remodeling contractor to rebuild our house after our fire, but things got complicated when there were still smoke smells in the house after $40k in professional remediation cleaning. I called Nurzia for a second opinion. Not only did CJ spend hours with me on the phone and over emails, but he came to the house and helped right the ship with his knowledge and expertise at a meeting with our contractor and remediation crew. I had been lost trying to figure out where our project went sideways and how to deal with insurance. I am so grateful I called.

We hired Nurzia to finish our basement and couldn't be happier! Jason did the design work, including locating an egress window in a very challenging spot (nestled in between a deck and a bay window outside, then squeezed in beneath sanitary lines inside). He gave us a fair and accurate quote for the work.Mike, our project lead, juggled all the trades and town inspections, keeping me updated on progress the whole way (even on weekends and while he was on a brief vacation).Most importantly, though, the staff were friendly and professional throughout. Nurzia staff and their trades were always willing to smile and chat when they'd arrive onsite (promptly) in the morning. This made giving them free access to our house much easier.I would absolutely recommend them for a basement remodel, and would hire them again if we needed additional work done here.

Nurzia Construction is our “GO-TO” construction company. We have had both residential and commercial work completed (large and small) with Nurzia Construction over the past 5 years. All the work was done professionally and we could not be happier. They were not always the cheapest but after meeting the competition, it was obvious that Nurzia’s price reflected the complete job. The other contractors seemed to be setting us up for change orders along the way.What really set Nurzia apart is their core values as a company and their genuine concern for our family’s best interest. It is no wonder why the Property Brothers TV show hired them to do 8 episodes. Don’t be like the many people we know that wished they hired Nurzia after they had a bad experience with another contractor.
