Royal Renovators just replaced the flat roof on our Brooklyn brownstone. Of the contractors we interviewed, they seemed to be the most communicative, efficient, and meticulous, which is exactly what we experienced during two intense days of work.They explained the process in detail beforehand, patiently answering all of our questions. During the job they constantly apprised us of progress in real time, including via drone pictures. When complications arose that required additional decisions, they thoroughly explained the alternatives.They maintained an immaculate job site, completely protecting our front and back yards, cornices, and neighboring roofs, and after the final cleanup left it looking as if they were never there.It's still early days, but we had heavy rain yesterday without any visible infiltration inside or pooling on the roof. Highly recommend!

Royal redid our garage roof a couple of years ago, so when we wanted to check out the house roof, we went straight to them. Eden was actually able to come out same day to inspect the roof. While we're too close to the airport for drones, he was able to point out a few red flags with the state of the roof, despite it, overall, looking decent. Given that we would like to put solar on, and for that we need the roof in good shape, we decided to get the roof replaced, and the gutters while we were at it.About a week and a half after we signed, Royal was able to come out to do the work. They brought a huge crew, so they were able to strip off the roof, replace the damaged wood (which clearly was damaged the last times shingles were put on, so whoever had redone the roof before we bought the house cut some corners), lay new shingles, add proper flashing, build a cricket to prevent rain slamming into the side of the chimney, and clean up, all in one day. They came back after the weekend to install the new gutters.The whole way through, they were polite, professional, efficient, and helpful. The new roof looks great, the neighbors are praising it already. When a couple of our pod lights popped out and hung down from the hammering, one of the workers was able to come in and reseat them properly; the only time anyone needed to come inside at all. I started my roof repair with a trusted handyman that begged me to let him replace my roof. It went very badly. My handyman was great at performing small repairs, but the roof was clearly beyond his capabilities. I needed help FAST. The roof work was half completed, and poorly at that. We hired these guys to rip and replace our roof and install three skylights. Mike was amazing in first giving us a quote, explaining the process and bearing with us for almost 6 months from quote to project as we juggled a major renovation.The team was super efficient and professional. They worked extremely clean. When they ripped out the roof they discovered layers and layers of concrete but still finished the job on time and didn’t charge us for the extra hassle of removing all the concrete. I am amazed they were able to finish on time given all the curve balls.Finally, Mike kept us up to date throughout the job and sent us progress photos. I personally screened over half a dozen roofers and contractors for quotes to repair/replace the deteriorating roof and gutters of my Brooklyn townhouse, and choosing Royal Renovators was the easiest decision I’ve made and I highly recommend them.From start to finish, the experience they delivered was of true professionalism and the highest quality. I believe they are the gold standard for roofing work, and if you want to get a high-quality product delivered the right way, you should go with Royal Renovators.Mike arrived at our house exactly on time to assess the needs for our roof and provide a quote - he is genuine, professional, and not salesy at all. I loved that he used a drone to thoroughly evaluate our roof — it was quick, non-invasive, and detailed. Meanwhile, all the other competing contractors I screened either had to bring their guys and ladders into our house to provide an assessment (which was time consuming, and one of them caused some damage to my walls in the process), or merely used Google maps to provide a half-baked assessment.Mike provided a detailed, transparent quote which I appreciated - he was always looking out for what was right for me in the long-run (while other roofers recommended short-term fixes that would end up being more costly in the long run). He gave me options and I agreed that the roof replacement was the best option for me. In addition, they would replace my roof hatch, my gutters, and add new skylights — I ended up getting more value compared to the other competing quotes I received.While it would take others at least 4-5 days to do the job, it would take Royal Renovators only 1 day to get the job done because they are a professional outfit with the right equipment, expertise, and manpower. This was critical for me because I was having other significant renovation work done throughout my house. A 1-day job was perfect, would not delay the timelines of my overall project, and would not drive me or my neighbors crazy. Also, it is worth noting that mike and his team were very easy to communicate with, especially given the logistical challenges involved with coordinating with my other contractors.The job they did was outstanding, and my roof and new skylights are beautiful. Royal Renovations saved the day! I called them because my roof was severely leaking and my ceiling collapse inside my house. They came the same week and got straight to work. There were about 12 guys on the job who all were professional and work very safely. They begin my roof around 8:30 AM removed the old roof completely off by noon and installed a brand-new roof with multiple layers and waterproofing by 4 PM. Extreme professionalism with high-quality work. These guys are the most honest and straight forward contractors out there. We bought a home that had a really old roof with multiple layers and a pitch and gutter system that would cause a waterfall over our roof. The roof was a mess and the solutions that prior contractors offered just didn't seem to address my concerns. Mike and his team, on the other hand, really had the knowledge and skills to deal with a roof that had a lot of problems. They put in a cricket that solved the waterfall issue . They were able to rip out everything, deal with a broken chimney, rotted beams, and incredible unsafe gutters. When they reached to a point of the project where there was rotted roof beams, they didn't have to wait to get the needed supply/labor, they got it done the same day. And during this entire process, they kepts us constantly updated on what is happening with video/images. Its been a year and all the issues have been resolved. Now, what I really think makes them worth every dollar was how they they stay in contact with you for any future issues. We had water issues with our exterior brick and they checked on our exterior brick. While here, they went back on the roof to check it and make sure everything is good. The education I've learned about my house from them is worth gold because I've avoided potential expensive costs related to windows. The cost wasn't cheap for a new roof, but its already saved me money because it actually fixed multiple issues that I didn't even think was related to the roof. Noises we heard from pipes were gone cause they put in proper roof insulation around them and their knowledge saved us from going down potentially more expensive non-solutions. I also highly recommend them to women homeowners. Its sometimes hard to find contractors who aren't condescending, patronizing or dismissive, and really explain things in a clear way. Everyone at Royal Renovators were just excellent in this and didn't make me feel stupid and really explain it in a way that made me feel like this was the right way - not just because thats just how its done. If you are woman homeowner who had bad experiences with prior contractors- I highly recommend Royal Renovators.

Our church has been having leaks throughout our church roof for years, we have came to the decision of finally replacing the roof. We interviewed a few roofing companies and Mike from Royal Renovators was the most profesional, informative and detailed regarding the need of the Church. On the day of the project Royal team showed up on time as promised with a 20+ man team, they removed the old roof and installed a new one within a few days. Since the roof was replaced a few months ago it has been through heavy rain storms and snow storms, the roof has not leaked and held up to their guarantee. After living in this house for 20 years my roof started to leak so it was time to replace it. We hired Royal Renovators to replace the roof and the gutters and had an excellent experience.A crew of about 15 guys came in and completed the repairs in one day. They removed about five layers of old shingles and installed new ones. We didn't have to wait several days while a dumpster took up parking spaces and workers crowded my house doing repairs. Everything was done fast and efficiently, and the property was completely cleaned up by the end of the day.They are very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. They even had a drone to take pictures of the roof and progress so that I could see what was going on up there. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking to repair your roof.

Royal Renovators have completely transformed our home. They replaced any bad wood on the roof, and they then expertly shingled it. They removed the old gutters and replace them with extruded gutters with no seam. The old siding was carefully removed and replaced with quality GAR material. We hired these guys to rip and replace our roof and gutters. Matt was amazing and very patient in explaining the whole process to us and was a pleasure to deal with. Super responsive via text/email/or call which cannot be said for others that I contacted. While the pricing here was not the lowest quote received, I still went ahead with Royal due how responsive and professional they were compared to the rest. It's been about 8 months since they fixed my roof in Queens. I did a partial side roof window area leak fix. Very happy with their work. They came out for free estimates and options. I had a sheet of questions ready and they answered/explained everything realistically.Fix was done in one day as promised. So far no leaks and I'm really happy about it. As for pricing, they are competitive. Honestly, no company doing roofing is cheap and if you compare top 3 companies, the prices are in the same ball park.I was happy to see that the foreman and his men took needed job breaks as law requires. And from what I understand, they were safety trained/oriented and being paid fairly. After a massive rainstorm and some leaking, technicians came out immediately to assess, and discovered a missing cap on a vent, unrelated to the roof. Mike was a class act from the time of providing and explaining his estimate all the way through the actual day of work. Our original work was for repairing the roof, but when the roof was stripped it became apparent that this job was much more than anticipated. The workmanship of the crew was outstanding and of high quality. They were here for two days and completed the job mess-free. The crew showed up on time, worked diligently, professionally and courteously. They lifted the entire roof and repaired all plywood and shingles plus, Shy kept me updated via drone photos. Eden and Shy were in contact with us throughout the process of scheduling and selecting the GAF shingles for the back and front of the house. I hired Royal to do a complete replacement of my roof and these guys were awesome in completing the work in one day. As promised, 15 guys showed up around 7:30 AM with a dump truck and completely tore off the old roof. Then I watched as they replaced the deteriorated plywood with new ones. Finally, they added layer upon layer of GAF, SBS, and Karnak roofing material to give me multiple layers of protection. Their technique and skill were excellent. They didn't even need to come into my building. Their foreman (Edgar and Carlos) also provided some good jokes throughout the day. I bought some donuts and coffee for the crew in appreciation. I sleep a lot better knowing my roof has a 25 year warranty.

Amazing job from start to finish on a full flat roof removal and installation! Our roof had some issues that were made worse following Hurricane Ida. Matt came out to do an estimate and was able to slot us in a few days later. Whereas other vendors estimated 1-2 days to do the job, Royal Renovators was confident they can do it in one day because they bring a crew of dozen or more. Their pricing was competitive and their 20-year labor and material warranty is hard to beat and offers a great peace of mind.On the day of the installation, they showed up on time and with a large crew as promised. They ripped off the old roof, patched the frame where needed, and installed the new roof in hours. Throughout the work, Eric the project manager, sent photos of the progress and kept us up to date. He suggested we install aluminum ridge caps that were optional, but highly recommended to ensure a better seal in weak areas. It was a bit out of our budget but we were able to negotiate to make it fit our budget. Despite negotiating and agreeing on doing 80% of what was recommended, Royal Renovators still did 100% in the end, which was a very pleasant surprise!I'm very happy with the work and am glad I called them. I requested an estimate for the replacement of a flat roof and Mike from Royal roofing was the contact. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain the whole process and answer patiently many questions and concerns of mine about this type of job. I highly recommend their services considering that their quote was also the less expensive one amongst the many that I got from other contractors. Also, they claim to be able to finish the job in one day, and that’s something others could not even promise.

I dealt with Mike and Shelton project managers, the two of them are amazing, attentive, explain everything in detail. I had 100 year old partial roof replacement and something that typically would have taken 3 or 4 days with another Company, took them 1 full day plus they did repair my chimney, installed 6 inch commercial size gutters on another side of the roof and touched up another sided of my roof. Mike came in the middle of the day to check on the progress, and when they team was falling behind on time he brought in an additional crew to help out. There must have been 10 guys on my roof. They were done by 8 pm, no one complained, very positive workers. They did no damage to my neighbors which is a plus and swept up and removed major debris. If there is an issue they will come back and fix it the next day. One of the gutters was short by couple of inches, so they came in the next day and installed a new gutter (they didn't go cheap and add another piece). Their quote was a bit higher, but they are licensed, insured, this is their bread and butter and highly skilled in the roofing area. I would definitely recommend them. Their entire group of workers are hard working, no one plays around and passes time, they all work hard and respect your property. We knew we needed to replace our very high, very old slate roof, but simply didn’t know who could take on job. Local roofers never solved the problems. We met Royal Renovators when they took on the job of replacing two roofs simultaneously on our neighbors’ attached homes. We spoke with project manager, Mike Hazan, who gave us an interior inspection and outdoor inspection using a drone. We agreed with his assessment. Jump forward a few weeks when a Royal crew arrived to remove and replace our old, leaky roof and tired leaders and gutters. Two days later the job was complete and we were relieved to finally have a very concerning problem resolved. The crew was nothing short of fearless and amazing. The foremen and project managers very committed to doing a great job. We’re confident of the job they did. Let me begin by saying my wife dreads hiring contractors and the thought of hiring a roofing contractor riddled her with anxiety. We received a dubious quote for some roof work where they quoted us a particular price—however they would not remove the existing shingles and would instead apply the new shingles on top via adhesive and nail. Sounds sketchy, right? The individual quoted a decent material with high reviews; however, we were unsure about the proposed execution.It turns out our gut instinct was right. The minute I spoke with Royal Renovators, I knew they were the real deal and were the obvious choice for the job. And although Royal's quote was slightly more than our dubious contractor's, I will gladly pay more again for the peace of mind and quality of service.Several guys appeared on the scheduled date and quickly removed the old shingles on the roof. They did some minor repair work and protected it before reapplying the new shingles. The project manager, Eric, kept in touch throughout the entire process via text message and even supplied us with drone shots of the roof work in progress. They were here by 10 a.m. and out by 4 p.m. The team was incredibly efficient. Again, the service and peace of mind were worth every dollar.Royal Renovators will not be your choice if you're looking for the cheap option. But then again, this is your home. You live there. Why would you ever want to gamble with a shoddy roof work?

We used Royal renovators for our roof/gutter/soffit replacement, and it was a smooth and pleasant experience from beginning to end. Mike our dedicated Project Lead came over and gave us a thorough explanation of our options, with samples of the material they use and their Master Elite GAF certification. While they were not the lowest bid, they were close in price to their competitors, and brought so much more - 50 year labor and material warranty from Royal Renovators, as well as a Lifetime GAF manufactures material warranty, and an estimated 3 day completion. They were able to mobilize a crew of at least 10 - 15 guys, protect both of my neighbors and our property, remove the old roof, repair areas of the sub - roof, and install deck protection on day 1, and install roof, gutters and trim on day 2. Day 3 was for the garage and cleaning. Not only were we impressed, but so were all of our neighbors. The roof looks beautiful, and we are beyond happy.
