I recently moved into a new property and needed to have the chimney cleaned and inspected. I knew it was a tough time of the year to get an appointment; the height of the busy season, and was so thankful they were able to schedule me in with only a short wait.Overall, I am impressed with the level of service I received. I contacted Fiddler online and they CALLED me to schedule the appointment. I completely expected it to all be handled online. The day of the appointment came, weather permitting, and not only was Don on time, he was early. This was great since I was taking time off from work.Don left me feeling safe. He explained some dos and don'ts about the fireplace, and he had been to the property for the previous tenant so he was able to gauge the usage of the chimney from before.Thank you so very much for the courtesy, the great service and most importantly, the piece of mind that you provided. Fiddler on the roof chimney service seemed to be the only place that would help me I made many phone calls to other places and left messages with no return calls. The job they did for me involved taking down my existing chimney and replace it. After initial visit to check it out . I made the appointment they were on time. I can't say enough good things about Fiddler on the Roof. Over the past 10 years I had used two other services and neither came close in the quality and integrity. We initially called them two years ago to install a chimney cap for our fireplace and after inspecting our chimney, they advised that we'd need a new chimney or should install a stove insert (we went with the stove insert). They just finished cleaning and I'm very pleased with their professional service. I saw the review about not getting a call back and my advise is to be patient because they are the best in the area. You wont be sorry!

After many years of using Fiddler on the Roof we had to go with another company. Last year they did not show up as scheduled and then would not return any messages to reschedule. Too bad. They used to provide a great service! I had to give one star because I can't leave a review with on stars!

Called and made appointment. They called to reschedule due to rain. No show on scheduled day. Called and came 45 minutes late. Cap came off Chimney and had to call. Was assured he would stop by and replace. 3 sunny days and cap is still on the lawn. No return calls either. Service was much better when the older gentleman came. He climbed ladders. Unfortunately local , in this case, is not always the best. When he did not show i was forced to climb up on the roof and belly crawl up and slide down a slate roof. All with one foot for the most part after foot surgey.Service: Chimney flue cleaning

Scheduled an inspection since we are having issues with our stove. Received a call from them requesting to come early due to possible snow, we declined because we couldn’t get out of work sooner but offered to reschedule for a different day. They assured us that wasn’t necessary and they would just stick with the original appointment. Appointment time came around with no call, no show. We called to check in/see if there was a problem, no answer. Left a voicemail, never received a call back..... P.S it didn’t snow. I completely understand not wanting to do a job but at least have the decency to either just reschedule or cancel. We have an infant and are having issues with a downdraft would’ve been great to get some information on what’s going on with our stove/chimney.

Had my chimney inspected ,which turned into my glass door of my fireplace being broken during the process. We were told they would take care of it and bring it back in a couple days. More than four weeks later finally received my door back after having to check in constantly fo find out where it is. And then be told this was an inconvenience for them. What about the customer? Poor service
