I was so fortunate to find LINY Roofing for a house in Glen Cove - Ryan was responsive and reasonably priced when providing the estimate. He provided detailed answers and descriptions to all my questions, and the team was able to start work the next week. They had the new roof installed professionally within a couple of days. L.I.N.Y. Roofing did a terrific job removing my old roof & installing the new! The crew showed up exactly on time every day. They took their time & did the job right. The clean up after was very good. They even put back my gutter guards. All quality materials were used. Ice-dam preventing material was used all around leak prone areas. Ryan patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions about the scope of work and quality of materials involved in the job before I signed a contract. He started the project when he said he would. The team came and finished working at the same time every day, so it was easy to plan around them. Ryan was usually onsite and always available to answer questions. Before leaving each day, the team carefully cleared away all debris and materials so we could enjoy the yard. When they discovered a need for a gutter, they added one, and reset all the others as they went along. After completing the job, they even went around the house with a magnet to pick up stray nails! The job was finished according to the agreed-upon timetable and (very reasonable) price, and a week later I received a Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty and 10 year Workmanship Guarantee. From the first moment when Ryen came by to provide the estimate to put on a new roof on our Long Island home, he distinguished himself from nearly every single other contractor we had look at our roof. Ryen actually took the time to get up on the roof, measure, examine, think about the specific materials that would be involved, and really evaluated the job. This was different from most of the rest of the people who visited us, who "eyeballed" the roof from the ground, waiting (not very long) until some arbitrary number came to their minds to quote us. But Ryen followed up his thorough examination of the job, by remaining in touch, giving us a reasonable price, showing up when he said he would show up, and finishing the job when he said he would finish the job. We've used them twice. First time was a minor esthetic repair and the second time was a major leak. Both times they delivered as promised and timely as well considering that we had a leak and needed it fixed asap (we called in the morning and he was onsite to repair that afternoon).
