We hired Kucel to renovate a 2-story home and replace five dilapidated cabins with new A-Frame chalet style cabins on a 2-acre lake front property we purchased in 2022.Kucel's owner. John Young, and his team of sub-contractors do quality work, on time, and on budget.John is super responsive and worked closely with my wife and me on the myriad.small detail decisions that make for a high-quality finish to the job.We highly recommend Kucel Contractors!

We requested an estimate on a renovation project and this company was at least prompt with a site visit. But it was downhill from there. Their representative was somewhat condescending during this process, and we got the sense from a few proposals he floated that he was boasting of experience the company didn't really have. In the end it didn't matter, because they never got back to us with the promised estimate despite repeated requests. We expected a firm that has been in business as long as Kucel Contractors to treat potential clients with a bit more courtesy, but according to their rep the company changed hands lately and is no longer family-owned. It doesn't look like this was a change for the better.

Had a nightmare experience with an Angi contractor that left a sliding-glass sized hole in my house.... John from Kucel Contractors saved the day! He came right out with his team of experts and they finished what the Angi contractor couldn't in a fraction of the time. Rob and the gang installed new windows and patio doors at my home. The window installs went well but they ran into rot issues under my doors. Luckily they have great carpenters who could fix all the issues inside and out. They showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. I’m very pleased with them!Service: Repair flooring
