When ever I come here I get what I need and the help that I need. I went to Lowes and Home Depot to rebuild a lock, there wasn't a specialist who would be able to do it, I spend all day going from one store to another. When I came to JK the job was done within 20 minutes. Really grate workers!

Great stop. Had just what I need at a fair price. I called ahead to check on availability.Staff very welcoming and Melissa checked me out after helping me select my purchase.Perfect item that fits my Trex post sleeves. Solar post lights that have a base that adapts to 4”, 4 1/2” or 5”. Just what I needed and priced better than Amazon. Thanks to Melissa for her help.

Deck railings: Excellent service by knowledgeable people. Got quotes while we were there, and had samples set up so you could see exactly what your getting. So much better than the big box stores.

My first time experience. Excellent lumber quality! Most staff are friendly. That being said, I was treated fairly rudely by a staff member because I was stuck in the lumber yard beyond closing time. I try to be courteous and be out and loaded before closing time but nobody was available to help me locate and load my lumber. On my way out, the gate attendant cussed me out under his breath after asking if I could get a flag attached. I was nothing but kind and tried to let him know I was appreciative of his work, but I was still given the silent treatment. That kind of left me a bit disappointed.

I want to share a story that started off horrible but ended wonderful. Couple months ago, I hired this Contractor who was referred by someone and was supposed to built me a 20 x 24 Deck . Well, let me say this... His quality of workmanship would be graded as a F- . The Code Officer cited him with 14 Code Violations and gave him two weeks to fix my deck. The Contractor never responded but he took my money.. My Finance and I where planning on getting marry on our new deck.I was so upset and didn't know what to do. So I prayed to God to find someone that could help me. Couple of days later, I felt inspired to call Jay-K Lumber and I spoke to Shawn and asked him if the Contractor bought the wood from them and he said no. Shawn informed that he got the drawing and the specks for the deck but not the wood. I was informed by the Contractor he only gets his wood from Jay-K Lumber. Well that was a big lie. I shared my story with Shawn from J-K Lumbar and he felt really bad for me. At that time, I though that would be the end of my story but it wasn't. About a week later, I received a call from Shawn at Jay-K Lumber and he informed me that David from Szemcsak Property Rehab & Specialized Cleaning wants to help me with my deck and will be Donating all his Labor .. I was so shock and Happy.I have learned a great value from this...That nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with GOD!I want to give BIG Kudos to Shawn and Jay-K Lumber for all their assistance. You all get a BIG A+ in my book.. Thank YOU !Thank YOU!Quick Update: Szemcsak Property Rehab & Specialized crew have been working on my deck and it looks beautiful!!!
