Went to lumber liquidators to pick out butcher block countertops for our house that’s currently being remolded. Any time you go in there ask for Colby. He knows his stuff and he wants to help you. He explained everything I needed to know and answered my bazillion questions I had. Without getting annoyed because I probably asked the same question 5 times. The delivery time to get them was a little discouraging. Took a week longer than expected. Which is okay things happen. So when my butcher block came in we brought it home and come to find one of the three pieces I purchased was scratched from shipping. We didn’t realize this until we brought them home. Not the stores fault but still kind of irritating. Again it happens. So I called them and talked to Colby and he was able to order a new one without even seeing the damaged product. Which I thought was commendable. With Covid I’m trying to be more understanding with shipment and delays. If it wasn’t for Colby being so great I would be a lot more irritated. But he was so helpful and great with explaining everything that I’m still satisfied. But took a star off for the problems with the warehouse problem. That was out of the stores and associates hands.Thank you Colby for being so great. Will definitely order more products in the future.Come to find out the scratches luckily were on the unfinished side. Didn’t realize that until a week later once we installed them. Regardless, they shouldn’t have been scratched up but not a huge deal since no one sees it anyway. I’m in love with how they turned out. And would recommend anyone buying butcher block to come here and not the big box stores.

I had previously used big box stores for laminate, but as the selection has grown increasingly sparse, I found a great value on a much better shade at LL. Unfortunately, my work hours aren't great for working with, but I called and spoke with Paul on Thurs afternoon just to verify stock (I needed 22 boxes which is all they listed on the site), and explained I needed to come down first thing so I could get back in time for work. He went the extra mile and reserved the lot for me so I didn't have to worry about any being sold before I got there (unlikely but was a nice gesture for sure). I was in and paid, and at the door within minutes, and loaded up in only a few more with their help. Will be installing this tomorrow, but at first glance, it's a really nice looking product as well, perfect for my use.Pretty much sold on never needing the big stores for any more of these types of projects.

The store is good. Product we bought is good. But the sub contractor to install is just horrible. We had our flooring for 2 months with promises that it would be installed. Finally got a date set and cleared out the room and installer didn't show. Took time off work to be at home for installation. What a horrible experience. This is going to just kill this store. We will not purchase again from Lumber Liquidators. Anyway we had to get our own installer since we had the room cleared out and ready to go. So do not have Lumber Liquidators install your flooring.

Guy is nice but if you are delivering here its tight and difficult the first time, or three. Plan for as much as an hour to back in and accept his assistance if he is there and offers. Apt was at 0900. Tried to check in at 0850 but door was locked and lights were out. Knocked on the stockroom door but no one answered. Checked in at 0902. Took 45min to back in. Guy marks my bills as 1000 arrival time. WTF?! Otherwise seems very friendly and helpful.

After shopping around at multiple stores and expressing that this is my first home renovation, I found this store and Colby walked me through everything, made sure I understood what I needed and the process of remodeling my bathroom. I had everything, and my total went from $1200 at another tile store to $400 at this one. I'm a happy customer and will definitely be returning for my kitchen floor! My new bathroom looks amazing!

I would like to say these guys at the Johnson City location are awesome. I send my customers there all the time. Got an awesome deal on a Dewalt table saw with a stand today!Stay away from the box stores, these guys rule!

Went into Johnson city store picked out tile paid deposit for home to be measured. Was told that someone would be in touch within 2 days to set up appointment. 10 days later man from store called to ask if anyone called yet the answer was no. Told the man to forget it and I would be in the store to get my money for measuring back. He said it wasn't necessary that he would send me a check. Very diappointed that they couldn't get their stuff together enough to send a installer my way.

Told salesperson we have 3 small dogs and were concerned about scratches. Was told the hardwood floor we picked was stronger than oak. Was told installation would be two days. I ripped up all previous flooring and molding so the work palate was clean. The installation was a nightmare! Took a week with workers arriving late, working 2 hours then taking a 2 hour break. Workmanship poor, had to have several areas ripped up and redone. Worst renovation job ever had done! Poor product, Scratches very easy. Poor quality of product and unprofessional installation. Would never recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointed. Have to have a carpenter come and redo T moldings and molding at additional cost.

Went to the Johnson City store and looked at flooring. Took some samples home and finally decided on what we wanted. Called the store last Saturday June 3rd to set up an appointment for a installer to look at our kitchen and hallway. Was told someone would get in touch in 48 hours. Got a call Tuesday at 8:45pm and we set up a time for Thursday around 4-4:15pm. Never showed. Called the local store around 6 pm and the asked me if I wanted them to contact the installed. I said "Umm, Yea"! Didn't hear anything until Sunday June 11th. They said someone would call me Monday. Today is Wednesday with no contact. Way to deal with a first time customer. Their scripted responses from the customer service support team was also useless.
