We’re nearing the end of a project that included demolition, excavation, drainage, and paving work. At this point we couldn’t be happier. The parking area and surrounding green space is beautiful. Kingsview did a terrific job. Everyone from the front office to the men on the ground, were conscientious and professional. The finished project, a three acre parking lot on inclined land is well laid out and drains perfectly. Recent monsoon-like storms thoroughly tested the design….no overflows or water seepage in the building Real happy about that. Oh…and the price was very reasonable. I had a paved driveway installed at my home by Kingsview in August 2018. The existing driveway was rock solid, a mix of loose gravel and dirt, and measured ABOUT 22'x70' (2 garage bays, straight to the road).I received quotes from 4 companies: Signature Paving ($7,000+), Lake Shore Paving ($6,000+), Tabone Paving ($5,500+) and Kingsview ($3,700+). All four were promising 4" of "airport grade asphalt" or similar.I selected Kingsview because budget was an issue for me. After a couple weeks passed (due to some rain delays) they finally came to excavate and dig up the current driveway. The gentlemen showed up with his dozer and spent about 30 minutes digging. I noticed that he was primarily moving around the existing dirt/gravel, not laying much new stuff down though there was just a little. Without any asphalt and since it was in the evening, it was hard to tell exactly how deep he went, however I noticed the following day that one side of the driveway was higher than the other. I expressed this concern over the phone and they assured me that he graded it properly.The next day, the paving crew showed up as I was leaving. I was pretty impressed at how fast they were able to finish (maybe an hour) as they were gone by the time I returned. I immediately noticed that the grading issue I had called about was not remedied. The left side of the driveway sits slightly higher than the right, however it wasn't a deal breaker.I did not drive on the fresh asphalt for an entire week to be safe. Two weeks pass, and I noticed 12-14" section along the right side of the driveway began to break down and erode. It was clear that an even larger part of the right hand side of the driveway was not excavated properly: 1" or so of asphalt was sitting atop dirt and gravel. I immediately called to report this because the warranty said it would be covered. The owner called me back, stopped to see the erosion, and said it would be better to fill it the next year before it was sealed. I took his advice and let it go.Several weeks later while doing yard work, I noticed an electric power cord sticking out the side of the driveway. Also within a month, grass was starting to grow through the asphalt (all of these issues along the right hand side).Winter and spring came and I called to schedule my sealing for July and had to remind several times that the driveway needed to be patched. The snow and rain eroded even more of the driveway revealing even less than 1" of asphalt in that area. It is unclear how shallow the pad is in that location. When the workers showed up to patch and seal, they did not clear the dirt to out; they used a rubber mallet and beat the asphalt into the side of the driveway then sealed it. The heat slowly made the patch rise along the edges so I flattened it each time. As the summer went on, it began to stay in place.This week, I got a call from the owner asking me why I hadn't paid my invoice for the sealing. I explained that I never got an invoice and to mail me one so I could mail a check. He asked if I could just pay it over the phone and I insisted that I would like an invoice by mail.A couple notes to consider: my Kingsview driveway is supposedly warrantied for 10 years... we'll see. The original quote/invoice states that you "should" have them seal it for at least two years after paving (about $170 or so... I'll find out when I actually get the seal invoice). It was explained to me by someone else that they require this so they can void any warranty by claiming someone else's seal job may have damaged their work. I can not verify this, but you should ask to be sure.In the end... the rest of the driveway as a whole has fared well. I will say that in hindsight or if I could go back in time, I would likely go with Tabone Paving instead. I made a budget decision by selecting Kingsview despite several people in my social circle telling me to reconsider. It seems they prefer a quick, cheap process and opt to roll the dice and hope you DON'T have a problem then figure out later what to do when you DO have a problem.

The process was seem less from the start. They encountered a slight problem that cost more money, but they honored the quote they gave anyways. Incredible!! Hello! I had reached out at the end of last summer to several different companies for a quote to have my driveway replaced and schedule for this year. Kingsview was the first and only company to call me back. John came out personally to take a look and emailed me a quote. I reached out to more companies again to have something to compare the estimate, since I had never done this process before. Kingsview was thousands of dollars cheaper. I called John to make sure he understood what I wanted due to the drastic difference.He was so kind and walked me through and I had so many questions. I ended up accepting and placed on their schedule. He called me first of April and it was done on the 11th. Chris and his crew did a wonderful job, and even came back later in order for me to get home from work to go over any questions with me and collect after I appoved. Kingsview Paving did an excellent job on my driveway. Our home had a regular driveway with an additional larger driveway to a detached driveway. They cleared the old one out and installed the new Blacktop driveway for both as we requested. They even helped with paving over a couple smaller paths that we wanted. Waited over a month to review my new driveway to see how it settled. What an awesome job by Kingsview Paving!! John was personable and fun to work with on the business end. Bob and crew handled the installation. Bob is a somewhat reserved man but very knowledgeable. The guys worked together like a well oiled machine. I had put off the new driveway due to drainage issues and concerns water would flow downhill into my garage. Bob designed it so expertly that a major downpour a week after installation left the inside of my garage completely dry.I also noticed John drive by a few days after install to check on the work.Great job guys!!! This was the second driveway that I have had resurfaced by Kingsview Paving. Their team of professionals are the best. Their pricing has beaten out all other bids from competitors. I had a slight issue with the second drive that was resurfaced. John was quick in getting his workers back to the site to correct the issue. The guys that installed the black top were all professional and happy to do as I asked. They told me that if there were any problems to contact the office. They wanted me to be completely satisfied with the job. I am so satisfied with their work that I have recommended them to others. In fact, my neighbor just had his driveway done by Kingsview as well, based on my recommendation. I will have more driveways to be resurfaced in the future and there is only one company that I will use. I contacted Kingsview in May 2021 about doing some work to our driveway. The project wasn't completed until late August 2021. Which to me seems too long. The communication was good, however, they seemed very unorganized. Twice they contacted me about paying the bill when the work wasn't done yet. They had to repair the apron of the driveway, which was to include in front of the mailbox, which they forgot and had to come back. They also forgot about adding a corner to the turnaround, so they had to come back for that. They set several dates to seal coat the driveway, but cancelled. I understand weather and other projects effect scheduling, but if they had been more organized and only made 1 or 2 trips, all projects could be done faster.I am glad that the work was done this year and it looks good. In the end they did want we wanted and I am pleased with the work. I would hire them again, knowing that it will take some time to get the project completed and that I may need to remind them of what the project includes.Communication was good - they did get back to me and called when they had dates to come or had to reschedule. Thank you.UPDATE - the owner John Jr. called me to discuss my project and this review. He was sorry for the issues. Him calling showed that they do really care about their customers and making things right.

Kingsview Graded and paved my 260 foot by 15ft (average 15ft, wider in some spots, skinnier in others) driveway.John was very professional. He made sure to call me and keep me updated on when, and what they where doing. The workers where excellent, they worked hard, and they where very nice. The day we scheduled for my pavement, it rained. John called me that day to update me on what was going on and when my next slot was. The driveway looks great, and I almost love it as much as my kids. Professional team of pavers. I did my homework and Kingsview worked with me to design a driveway that would handle the loads and traffic I put on it. Do your homework. Ask about what product will be used as there are differences.Kingsview offers solutions and I appreciated their knowledge and working with me on a solution that meets my needs. Contacted them last year for a quote, they provided it no problem, circumstances beyond my control delayed my drive way from getting done. I contacted John 2 months ago to have them do my driveway. They were very fast at there response. They set a date came out and did it in no time. I must say I am more than happy with there work. They even patched the skirt which is city property. John came by the day after I called for a quote. I have over 2000 sq ft of driveway to be poured. We were expecting around 10k based on what I’ve heard from other people that have had work done from other companies. He told us it would be around 6k, 6500 after tax. Well after realizing there was much more grade work that needed to be done, they told us the cost was actually over 7k. John told me not to worry about the extra cost and stuck with his quote. Honestly they could’ve billed us for more but the fact that he stuck to his word speaks a lot about the type of company Kingsview is. When it came time to pour the driveway they were in and out in 3-4 hours. They worked efficiently and effectively. The final product looks more beautiful than we even imagined. I work in a business that deals with a lot of public and I will let everyone know about these guys. You will not be ripped off by them and the work is outstanding. I’m happy and proud to have our driveway done by them.

Update:After all the initial issues we had with getting our driveway done, John at Kingsview apologized for the issues we encountered and any inconveniences it caused. He was understanding of the reasons for our dissatisfaction. In the end they made it up to us and we appreciate them for valuing our business. Not many businesses will go out of their way to ensure their customers are satisfied, Kingsview did and we thank them for that.Original:The final product turned out good, but the service not so much. It took three weeks for them to finally come out and pave my driveway, two weeks after we were originally told they would do the job. When they did finally show up they dug up the old concrete driveway and walkway to the back side sidewalk and left a massive hole where the walkway between the driveway and sidewalk once was and left it. It took them another week to come back and filled the hole and pave the driveway, meanwhile we had to jump the big pit to get to and from the house to the driveway. They finally paved the driveway and didn't do what we asked and was quoted on the backside, along the garage. It took another two weeks for them to finally come back and finish the area they didn't do. We're happy with the final product, but not happy with how long it took to get it done, all the back and forth phone calls to get them to come and do the job and just the poor communication to the customer. It took roughly a total of 6 weeks to get a job done that we we told when they quoted the job, would be done that same week in a day or two. Very dissatisfied with the quality of customer service.

I cannot say enough about my experience with Kingsview. Always available, always helpful and professional. They took down and old barn, removed its concrete foundation and prepped the area, then blacktopped a driveway and new pad for a replacement shed. They handled everything from pulling he permit, to disconnecting the electric to the old barn, hauling away the debris, everything. in face they did MORE than what we agreed upon and didn't charge me extra, even though they certainly could have. I am a property investor and I can 110% say that any paving/concrete, site prep jobs I need done in WNY, will be done by Kingsview paving. It was a true pleasure working with them. Satisfied beyond words... Other contractors would do well to follow their example.

John Rauh is a very friendly, caring business owner.Kingsview fixed my 2 yr old driveway that was done by another company. It was an odd shaped job, and included going up to a handicapped ramp. They not only did the job quickly and perfectly, but each employee acted as if it was THEIR business!I would give them a 10 out of 5 star!Oh...and they made the driveway so that there is NO gap or bump to the ramp!!My mother...and my back, thank them VERY MUCH!
