James and his team were timely, efficient and their work speaks for itself. I highly recommend them. They installed a paver patio and walk around my old patio. They also power washed and repaired existing walkway and driveway and did stucco on my basement entrance and added a nice little patio pad. Overall pleasant experience.

It seemed easy to find paving and masonry specialists who claimed to have all of the experience, techniques, equipment and the very best prices. Some were referred to me, some I found myself, some seemed better than others, some had outstanding lawsuits and filings with the Better Business Bureau, as well as blistering criticism on sites like Google & Yelp. Exhausting.Then I met James from Advanced Paving and Masonry. Without asking me "what did I want?", he began outlining several ideas about what "he could do for me". Each idea within various price ranges, each approach with its own character. He had the experience, he had the people, the machinery and, simply put, I found him to be a man who said what he meant and meant what he said. We called and had an estimate. He never pulled a tape measure out. The quote was double what ever one else quoted. We didn’t say yes and asked for a written estimate so we could review it and we never got a response. I guess he was looking to make a quick buck at our expense. We decided to hire a fair and honest contractor that returns calls, takes measurements and gives fair pricing.

Advanced was fantastic. Jimmy was super knowledgable and had a great eye for design. He is especially helpful if you're not quite sure what your best options are. He will honestly guide you into making a good choice for your project. His crew was efficient, respectful and clean. His time frame was on point and was completed with the project faster than expected. Overall a great experience.
