Tom and his team rebuilt my existing rotting 18' x 24' deck in 2 days! They came with 2 trailers, quickly set up and cleaned up when done. Any questions or issues I brought up were quickly remedied and treated with care! Tom was easy to work with from the initial quote & materials selection through job completion. My toddler definitely approves of her new safe deck play area!

We had our old rotted deck torn down by Tom and his guys and they had the new one up in 4 days. We went with full rain escape drainage and moved the stairs to the opposite side. Tom (the owner) was there every day making sure everything was being done properly. The new deck is built right and looks beautiful. Tom was there every step of the way giving advice on color schemes, stair location, and drainage option. He is a true professional and does not try to sell you the most expensive option. He gives real world advice. With that being said Build a deck had by far the best price. No one even came close. We had 1 small thing that needed to be done and Tom came back personally the next day to do it. I cant say enough good things about this business.

I am so happy someone in a local Facebook group recommended Build A Deck when I asked for recommendations on tearing down and replacing our old wooden deck. Tom reached out to me and now, a little over a month later, we have a new front porch as well as a beautiful new back patio. I found Tom to be honest and helpful throughout the process and the crew was fantastic. When our deck was torn down Tom encountered a problem that needed immediate attention. He gave me an answer of how to deal with the issue, which changed our initial design, but the crew didn’t miss a beat. Tom was so great to work with! As someone who had an incredibly hard idea picturing what work was going to be done, he laid out all the options and really was able to help me visualize what the outcome would be. Him and his crew were always on time and extremely professional while doing the work. They were clean and quick and did a wonderful job. Perfection….from Tom returning my call for an estimate, explaining all the possibilities, starting one day earlier than planned, showing up on time everyday….and then the end product! The new deck and benches are beautiful. They did my landscaping moving my shrubs and seeding so I have a lawn in the Spring. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Tom the owner and his staff is communicative throughout the entire process. Final outcome was more than we bargained for. Carpentry craftsmanship & attention to detail is mind blowing, and our paver walkway is flat & pitched perfectly. I’m an architect of 21 years, which gives me some stake in saying that you will not get a safer and confidently built structure by another company in their field. Not only do I recommend them, I will be using them again commercially in the near future.
