We moved into our house in April 2022 and Eric pretty much worked on everything for it. He built an overhang in the backyard, extended the patio, replaced windows, redid all the siding, built a shed, etc. He's very hardworking and reliable with great communication. He spent a lot of long hours and even stayed later than his crew to ensure everything got done. We continue to use him every time new house projects come up and refer him to anyone looking to get work done. He's got unbeatable prices and does excellent work.

Erick and his crew of workers came to my house as I was getting roof leaks from wind and storms into the home. He spent long hours replacing the damaged plywood, re shingled the roof and replaced the damaged brick chimney with new flashing and bricks.They were clean and efficient, and I highly recommend Erick and EM Certified for any roof repair/replacement job.

We had a roof leak and we contacted em certified construction , Erick showed up on time and the leak was coming from the skylight and he said that we need a new skylight because it was a old skylight and the leak was coming from the flashing, he gave us a good price and he got the job, after he got the job he offered to remove the snow around the skylight to stop the leak, 3 days later he came with his coworker and started the job and he find it out more leaks in the roof, and he offered a fair price to fix all the leaks around the skylight and he fixed everything, he took pictures before and after the job was done. I am very happy with overall experience! I would recommended to everyone and I will use him again!

My experience with E & M Certified Construction was amazing from start to finish. Erick, the owner is simply the best. He is a perfectionist and skilled craftsman who takes great pride in every aspect of his work. From the quality of materials he choses to final execution, his work is meticulous. In one day, he stripped and completely reshingled our leaky roof after replacing every rotted plywood board underneath, re-mounted our awning that had to be removed and then he replaced our old lead flashing around the chimney with beautiful new copper flashing. He clearly went above and beyond what most contractors would have included in a job like this, all at a very reasonable price. And even though the sun was about to set, he and his co-worker stayed to clean up. Aside from his incredible work ethic, he is also kind, respectful, honest and trustworthy. We are already looking forward to working with him on a new project in two weeks.

Erick is fantastic! We had an issue with our chimney due to poor work done by a previous contractor. Erick showed us images of what was wrong and made several suggestions as to how we could fix the problem. His pricing is more than fair and he’s a wonderful person to work with. He’s polite. Always on time and left our home clean and with a beautiful roof after the chimney stack was removed.I highly recommend Erick if you’re looking for someone that’s honest and does the work they say they will.

An impressive crew of 9 did the demolition, leaving the property immaculate at the end of the day. Workers came in a timely manner each day. I HIGHLY recommend EM Construction to anyone who is looking for a kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy contractor. Erick was all that and more! He and his co-worker repaired our roof cap, installed a chimney liner and sealed the chimney. When there was an issue with the liner going into the flue, he knew exactly what to do. They were very thorough and cleaned up after themselves, and for the amount of time they spent and the fantastic job they did, the price was amazing.😊 It’s hard to find a company you can truly trust, and I will definitely use them again.

We originally found Erick due to an issue with our Chimney leaking. We hired Erick to take down a Chimney Stack and repair our roof. When that was completed we learned that Erick also does reconstruction, general construction, painting and all home improvements. Erick and his crew restored our attic, repaired a cracked ceiling, painted and sealed our chimneys. Living in a home that is more than 125 years old having someone do work with care, professionalism and incredible skill is difficult to find. Erick and his crew are polite, skilled and go above and beyond to ensure their work is everything you expect and more.I highly recommend Erick for any home repair or home improvement project you are looking to complete.Pricing is very fair and they always show up on time and put in a full days work leaving your home clean and in order when they leave.

Used EM certified for a shingle replacement a few years ago, did good work, so just hired them for a pretty big job. Everything done efficiently, and timely, finished product looked modern, and clean. When they finished working, they didn't just rush off, took there time and cleaned up properly, real professional.
