Bravo to Paul and Team. They installed a new roof for my home back in 2016, and I recently had a few leak issues. Because Paul recommended a GAF warranty on the roof back in 2016, I was able to have the issues resolved at no cost to me.Paul's team made this repair so easy for me. I had contacted Total Home Construction to have siding installed on my house and Mike V (salesman) came out to provide us with a quote. He was very informative of the product they were offering which was one of the highest quality in the industry. I had several quotes done and THC came in slightly under the others but with a product that was at a higher quality. The crew came out - they were on time and very polite. When the job was completed the workmanship was amazing and their cleanup was spot on. I had a few questions along the way and Mike was there every step.Couldn't ask for a better experience !

Working with Mike was an absolute pleasure. He is very professional, clairvoyant, knowledgeable, and respectful.He showed up at the residence to assess and give information regarding the prior windows. He offered what he believed was a good fit for the household based on what was conveyed was needed, and went through all aspects of the new windows from locking mechanisms to glass efficiency.He listened to what was wanted and based on what he had, offered what he felt would be a good fit.There is no regret in the decision. All the windows were changed in the residence in less than two days, and the quality of the windows installed is excellent. Right away there is a reduction in outside sound and a more stable internal temperature difference.Mike followed up on numerous occasions to ensure that everything was to satisfaction. Mike was very responsive responding to all inquiries immediately and he delivered excellent customer service.

Total Home Construction recently completed removing old and adding a new roof, siding, gutters and soffits, as well as installing a new sliding glass door and two windows, and closing in the walls (new slider and windows smaller than originals). Overages / added costs incurred (over the contract price quote) was $1000 to replace about 10 sheets of old roofing plywood that had rotted, and replace about 50 feet of 1”x6” fascia (behind gutters) that had also rotted, both of which Total Home and I talked about (during the quote phase) as being possible, with costs to replace (if necessary) stipulated in the contract with Total Home.Mike Vangelatos (Sales Manager and point person on project) and Hugo (on site project foreman for siding, gutters and soffits) and his crew work well together, are experienced, care about the end result, and take the time to do it right. The roofers (separate crew from siding) performed well too, no issues. All crew members showed up early 7:30-8 am and left around 5-6 pm, and were a pleasure to work on our home. The work was done on a timely basis (if not for excessive rain during installation that understandably slowed down progress). Mike also checked in with me every 1-2 days during installation to ensure all was going well.My only issue, which wasn’t a huge issue, was that the cleanup outside (some debris on driveway and lawn, in bushes) could have been better after installation was complete. But I texted Mike, and a crew came the next day to clean up better, no problem.The price charged by Total Home was middle of the road among the 6 quotes I got. We could have paid about $5-$6k less with another contractor, but in the end Total Home Construction has a good, documented reputation, in business over a decade, we had faith and trust in Mike that the job would be done right, and Mike / Total Home is GAF Certified for a better roof warranty. We also received quotes of $15k - $20k more (yes, $20k more!) than Total Home Construction’s quote (for the same exact products and labor) from other contractors who may be more well-known from their frequent TV, radio and mailer advertising, but no better in terms of the process and the end result IMO.The cost of a new roof and siding is one of the bigger investments you’ll make in your home, so it pays to invest some time to do your homework - get educated to what you’re buying, get some detailed (NOT vague) quotes, ask the quoting contractors some questions, ask to speak with contractor references in your area and go see their house to see the work performed, go with your gut, and get a detailed sales contract.My wife and I are very happy with the outcome! Their workers are excellent… polite, professional, and they really know what they are doing. The management staff is responsive, communication is good, and customer concerns are taken seriously. Although Total Home is not a low cost option, we consider their prices fair, especially in view of the quality of their work. The fact that I’m writing this review on Thanksgiving should say it all!Our family is extremely Thankful and Appreciative for Total Home Construction and the extensive work they’ve completed on our home in record time!After meeting with and taking bids from 8 different contractors, Paul was hands down the most upfront, honest and professional of all. The entire experience was completely stress free and no hidden costs. New Roof, New exterior wall, New siding, New windows, Interior walls and finishes. I cannot say enough about the Quality of the work and Professionalism of the entire team! Heather is amazing and kept scheduling on point. From start to finish Paul and his crew were amazing! They listened closely to all our desires and executed the look we wanted from the windows to the siding. Their crew was prompt, respectful, clean, thorough and professional. Heather in the office was amazing at communicating and scheduling windows, siding, dumpsters and port a potty for the job. Paul and heather even went above and beyond and sent a gift basket when my daughter was born in the middle of construction! I truly felt like they were family when they were working on our home.
