Had the system for 2 years now and I love it! Use to pay $1300 a month during the winter for fuel oil to heat the house. Had the solar system installed along with all electric heat pumps. Now the solar storage covers all the heating during the winter without using alternate fuel.The process is very straight forward and NY Solar Farm walks you through the steps.Overall very satisfied with the process and outcome.

I got my solar from NYSSF. They are good honest people. I really enjoyed working with Dave and the whole team. They constantly kept me updated throughout the application, permitting, installation, and inspection process. The installation took about a day. The permitting process will be the longest part of the process. Also, the panels are generating energy like the initial estimate.

So I delt with Morganne and got nothing but her full attention and commitment from start to finish. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question ( and boy did I have a lot.) Even after I signed the contract she followed up to make sure I was being taken care of and if she could help in anyway. Start to finish, our experience with NYSSF was great! We had 37 panels installed on five roof surfaces of our home and garage (see picture) and the team did excellent, neat, clean and tidy work. The system has been in operation for about 30 days now and is producing power at a rapid pace, but it's summertime so that is expected.We're very happy with NYSSF, every person we worked with showed that they really cared about us and worked with us to accommodate some of our unusual requests too.

I was referred to NYSSF by a friend who had a very positive experience with them. I could not be happier with the entire process from initial quote and onsite roof evaluation (using drones) to town permitting, installation and grid connection. While Gabby was my main point of contact, the entire team was responsive, helpful, and pleasant to work with. NYSSF is a certified SunPower master dealer; SunPower is considered a top-of-the-line solar panel. My system was sized for 100% electricity offset, and the SunPower app lets me see how the system is performing under various weather conditions and whether I'm a net importer from, or exporter to, the electric grid. I highly recommend NYSSF to those seeking a residential solar solution.

Once in a blue moon, one comes across a company and a group of people who define what a "superlative" customer "experience" should be and deserve the highest form of commendation and praise for their work. The New York State Solar Farm (NYSSF) and its team of consummate professionals is one such example.Recently, I had a chance to work with NYSSF for the design and installation of solar system for our home. Reflecting on the overall process, from quote to system turn-on, it was the best experience of my lifetime. During the course of this project, I interacted with Ms. Jenn Kipperman (local sales), Ms. Allyson Vasquez (project co-ordinator), Ms. Bianca Cauchi (operations), Ms. Krystle Middleton (admin), Ms. Yanira DePuy (Applications), Ms. Dana Intravaia (finance), and Mr. Bret O'Connor (design). Let me say that each one of these individuals is a consummate professional taking ownership to make the whole experience as seamless and hassle-free as possible.I believe this is testament of business acumen of Mr. Anthony Sicari, CEO of NYSSF. Mr. Sicari has managed to create an environment perfect for hiring and being able to retain such talented and dedicated individuals. Early in the project, I had a number of questions. I emailed those questions to Jennifer and, in no time, Jennifer replied back with a video link. Imagine my surprise, when I started playing the video, it was Mr. Sicari reading and answering each one of my questions and not some canned pitch. This is when I was sold - I knew I was in good hands which turned out to be true. Also, I must have driven Bret nuts with my penchant for perfection but he showed nothing but the utmost patience in working with me. Best of all was the experience of working with Jennifer, I can't say enough good words about her so I won't try. I have a medical condition which makes my daily life very unpredictable, Jennifer made sure that not only the project was on schedule but, also it is completed with minimal effort/duress on my part.The installed system consists of 51 SunPower-M440-H-AC panels capable of generating 22,525 kWh per year. The overall process was completely transparent showing all applicable discounts. The NYSSF took care of all applications and permits. Once all the paperwork was complete, the installation was done in one single day. One of the most important contributor to my decision for going with NYSSF was, single point of contact for all service and operational issues related to the product(s) and installation during the warranty period. To be honest, I did not make any effort to get a competitive quote, so I can't comment on overall pricing but I can say I paid exactly what was quoted (no nickel and diming).Working with NYSSF team was an experience like working in army - each and every member of the team knows his/her role and executes it in the most efficient manner. I congratulate Mr. Sicari for putting together such a great team and, once again, thank all members of the project team for making this a wonderful experience.

We had received several quotes for installing solar, but NYSSF was the overall best deal for us. Jenn was very knowledgeable and incredibly easy to work with and answer any questions we had along the way. Once we signed all paperwork the installation happened quick, whereas other companies had told us their schedule wouldn’t allow for installation until the end of summer. Luckily we found NYSSF and are now able to take full advantage of the summer sun! Thank you for making this such a smooth process!

I am super picky about the placement of my solar panels. Even though SunPower panels are better looking than most(solid black color). SunPower worked with me on the placement of the panels and the conduit. I like things looking neat and done right. The head installer was on point and the install job looks very good. As for the panels, this is the second home I am having solar panels installed. Just like my first home, I bought the entire system. Otherwise I don't see any real benefit to going solar. I have just installed 19 panels with SunPower and they produce as much as the 27 panels I had installed on my other home 8 years ago. The system is top of the line! I expect them to really pay off in 15 years, after the loan is fulfilled. Until then, I know my electric bill will be for the meter - $15.00 a month and my loan. Which in total comes out to be just about what my total electric bill was. Buying from SunPower is a easy choice. Even if you move before the panels are paid off, you still come out ahead or at least break even money wise. It's a no-brainer, especially with SunPower and their Home Monitoring system

I waited several months before writing this honest review. We built a new construction home last year, and decided we wanted to look into Solar. I called a few places, and ultimately landed with NYSSF simply because of my initial impression, positive reviews on the business, their constant transparency about what to expect, their response time on any questions we had, and their overall customer service from beginning to end was phenomenal. Morganne was our representative and she was amazing, right down to the last phone call once the project was complete. She continuously went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information to feel comfortable to take on this project. It can be overwhelming at first. Once the project was complete, we were concerned about the tax portion of how this works. We received our tax CREDIT in April when filing our taxes with no issues. The panels had been installed in November in NY. A month in NY that typically has zero sunshine, followed by December, which wasn't much better. Our electric bills during these months were higher through the winter (naturally) than they are now, but def not higher than a normal electric bill so it definitely worked right out of the gate. HOWEVER, once the spring arrived, we've paid now consistently $40 a month from April - August to Orange and Rockland for our electric. Paying today's electric bill reminded me to tell everyone to jump on board. This was a true success! and we're thrilled that we chose Morganne and the New York State Solar Farm to do our SunPower project. 5 stars from us!

Ihad gotten a few quotes from different solar providers and finally spoke with Tara at New York State solar farm and she was very informative very knowledgeable but she listened she understood my question she answered my questions and the price was very very reasonable I decided to go with her because I was convinced that what she was telling me about going solar and dealing with that company was going to be best for me it was a wonderful seamless process she was so helpful in getting the application done and getting me qualified for the incentive the nyserda program. again communication with Tara was good from start to finish. When I reach out to her there would be a response you know everything was told to me when this would happen when someone was coming what I needed to do to prepare so I will definitely and would definitely recommend this company and Allison who picked up after Tara was very informative as well and the connection and the communication was seamless with her as well good job to you all.Looking forward to helping the environment and saving a lot of money

My wife and I have made many renovations and improvements to our home over the past few years and our experience with contractors has been hit and miss, so we were optimistic but also a bit wary.
