Several times visiting this Home Depot location while visiting family members. Helping them at times with projects around their house. Very convenient with Home Depot not being that far away from where they live. Beats them having to go farther out. Nice store with good amount of selections including power tools. Yeehaw! Yeehaw! I called in to make sure that a couple of items that appeared to be in stock when I checked on their website, were indeed in stock. Customer service rep said that according to their system they had them. I drove 40 minutes based on this confirmation only to find out that they had none. When I asked for an answer, I was told that the system is only updated once a year.For such a huge store, they sure need a better system to handle their inventory.

Not ever crowded. Good place for all you may need for reasonable prices. It's good to check online for the aisle location of your product. Makes it easier to find once you're at the store.

*Not Recommend* *The Worst Customer Service Ever*We came and spent almost $1,000 today and we were asking for some assistance with trying to find an item that was showing 3 in stock when we could only find 2 that were broken and missing parts!I asked 4 different workers and even called the store while we were there the ladybsaid please hold one second then just hung up on me, the other 4 people said that it wasn't their department and couldn't "page someone to help me" wow I normally do not take pictures of people for me reviews however I really wish I had gotten the pictures of the 3 woman who just stood there acting confused about helping us or getting someone to help us the other associate was legit getting ready to help another customer get something get something from an up high self BUT HE TOLD ME HE WOULD FIND SOMEONE TO HELP US & NEVER DID!We will probably return to this location if we absolutely need to but we we try to go elsewhere 1st and not recommend anyone come here if they don't absolutely need to as the staff are rude and refuse to help their customers!

Let me start this review by saying that i've been here before mainly for pre pandemic supplies. Home Depot has everything you need from gardening tools, gardening supplies, flowers, grills, sheds to inside stuff like plumbing, toilets, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, paint supplies, and wood planks, piping, light fixtures for inside and outside, and everything one needs for a home and for maintaining a home. Always had no problems here, although my dad also uses the lowes in Chester maybe more than home depot, but still.Went here with my dad on Saturday March 16th 2024 to pick up some plumbing supplies. My dad was looking for a particular part actually, but we found things that worked for us. After finding what we were looking for, we went to the self checkout, and encountered a very nice employee who wished us Happy Saint Patrick's Day. think it was about 25/26 dollars for 3 items. We paid via credit card, and went on our merry way. Hope to be back soon!

The Home Depot is the best hardware store. The Home Depot has everything you need plus a bunch of stuff you don't but may need one day! I suggest you get out and go shop at the Home Depot and spend as much money as you can there, you'll have everything you need and more! Thanks Home Depot!

All the on-sale items were in stock so that's good. Home Depot needs more staff in the Outdoors area though. The line to check out was over 10 people long and there was only one staff member until about 2 minutes before we reached the front of the line. Aside from the staffing issues, this plane rocks!

I love this store, it has a great selection. I'm only giving it 1 star because of the SUNRUN solar employees that follow you around and ask if you want to go solar. I'm at the store almost everyday and I have to try and avoid these strange characters... especially the creepy bald guy. If they catch you they ask the same questions over and over sometimes twice a visit. Get them out of the store Home Depot! Nobody wants to be bothered by these funny looking strange guys. Im trying to focus on buying materials.

Always hard to find a associate, just asked someone "do you know" and he didn't let me finish my question he said "no".They know we need them that's why they are acting so, unfortunately.Update Dec. 22 3023.Lately their card machines are not working.I'm there at least twice a week, yesterday the cashier even said that the problem is on their end.This is going on for about 2-3 months

This is one of the nicer and more organized Home Depot’s that I have shopped at. Never had a problem with the inventory. The shelves are pretty well stocked. I would shop at this location again.

I ordered a ryobi chainsaw on line. Harriman store was the only one who had it in stock. I wanted it to be delivered and there were issues on my delivery. Dee the ASM waived my delivery fee and the manager of the store actually delivered my item to me.Great customer service. Thank you.And oh yes I can’t forget the customer service rep Jennifer. She went above and beyond.

Terrible customer service. Spent $4500 and paid $80 to have it delivered. Delivery was a disaster they left a pallet in the gutter at the end of my driveway and ripped open bags of concrete while unloading it also was missing items . When I called to complain I was told "you didn't leave special instructions as to where to leave it" should you really have to specify don't leave it in the gutter? And as for the missing and damaged items I was told "bring them in well exchange them and you can pick up the missing items" I paid for delivery you guys messed up but I have to make a 40min round trip? Got them to agree to make a delivery with the missing items and replacements for the damaged ones was told someone would be in touch to schedule it. Told them ok I need by next Saturday. Never heard anything back never got my second delivery. Ended up going to Monticello home Depot for help and they were helpful. The manager at Harriman is either incompetent or uncaring.

This is my favorite HD store. A lot a great people, they are all helpful, attentive and profesional. P (Pistol) a good adviser in Plumbing, Joseph Buchanan is always helping at the Customer Service desk. The only downside is the shortage on items like Quickrete. Lots of plants and I like the clearance section.

My husband and I are remodeling our bathrooms. We've been there several times yesterday and today to buy stuff for the remodel. From tiles for the floor and walls to today searching for an exhaust fan for the bathrooms. We'd like to thank Stephanie. She took the time out to search and find the item even in the middle of helping other customers. She was very thorough, knowledgable, very helpful, friendly and made sure you were completely satisfied. Even when the product was on the other end of the store and in a box she helped find the item when the other people I asked said it's probably not in stock even though it listed the item in stock in multiple quantities. She made the point of finding it and I was able to purchase two of those items in addition to multiple toilets, multiple bathroom faucets, multiple shower sets, etc . We had to let you know what a gem of an employee you have. If every employee were like her every customer would be completely happy shopping in your store. She made shopping a complete pleasure and stress free in the midst of a remodel project which could be stressful in itself. Thank you Stephanie. We appreciate all your help. You are amazing!!!!

I waited for almost a month for Lowe's to bring a washer and dryer only to go over to home depot and get it in 3 days great going home depot thank you very much in Harriman New York.Your delivery crew was above and beyond expectations.Very friendly crew I was so surprised thank you so much.

Was at the depot today like many others home projects in and out usually missing a few screws, then second trip!!! Always nice too know people like Archie in plumbing there!! Professional knowledgeable !!! Just like the gentleman in tools for ryobi and Milwaukee outstanding job not sure if he works for home depot or outside contractor!!! Keep up good work guys! Appreciate what you do say in and out!!

Tonight I was very frustrated with getting help tonight and Janise and Sheldon in customer service went out there way above and beyond to help me. I was really annoyed and they made me smile with simple caring in customer service. They deserve employee of the month

The service/help at the Harriman store has always been good; however, today was exceptional. I needed two new items. The first associate asked another to take me too the areas, but I just needed him to send me in the right direction which he politely did. One of the items was a 50lbs bag and I asked another associate to put it in my cart which he did and told me someone would put in my car. The checkout person radioed for someone and quickly he came to my aid. In total I was assisted by 5 associates each of whom was pleasant and helpful.

Nice place. mostly they have everything stocked. nice staff. The Order online and pick up in store option is very good and fast.The reason I give only 4 stars is because the waiting time at the registers are often very long and it's not to blame the employees they just need more registers for bulk and lumber items and Quick check out for smaller items.Shopping carts also needs improvement there is enough of them but never handy at the entrance.
