Called Scott to help fix the roof appearance of a roof I had put on 2 years ago from a different contractor (wrinkled rubber roofing and over lapped shingles). We had a very challenging flat roof residential project that was going to require a great deal of labor as well as some good planning. We finally got a break in the weather and the crew from Peterson worked extremely hard in a tight window to completely tear off the old roof and install the new one. Love the work they did on our new skylight over the patio. First-rate work and professionally done, would certainly recommend Peterson Roofing for your next project.

I am an out of state owner of multiple commercial properties in New York. I have had three (3) separate occasions to call Peterson Roofing. One was a leak repair ( not the roof replacement that another company estimated at 125K). One was a roof drain repair which actually was a detached roof drain pipe. One was the report of a roof leak, which turned out to be, not a roof leak but a defect in a drop ceiling which simulated saturated acoustic tiles sagging.What I am trying to say is that I found Scott Peterson and his crew PROFESSIONAL and HONEST, as well as punctual!Peterson Roofing is in my contact list with 6 stars next to their name! First responding to a leak during a winter storm in January 19 Peterson Roofing came on site within the hour and fixed the emergency to great satisfaction. This was followed up in May 19 by replacement of most of the roof. Excellent work performed in a timely manner and a great clean up. Excellent photo documentation of wear and tear and the work performed. I can highly recommend Peterson Roofing Co.

I am chair of the trustee committee at the East Randolph UMC. Peterson just completed a complete roof replacement for us. The crew was courteous and very professional. They kept the site very clean and completed the job in a timely manner even with some rain delays. Both myself and our congregation are very pleased with the end result and the warranty on the work that comes with the job they did. I highly recommend working with this great company. They will do an awesome job and you will be thrilled with the results. Also Scott always kept me up to date on the progress and was always available for an email or a phone call! In today's world customer service sometimes lacks but not with these guys!

The SPCA in Cattaraugus County had fallen on to hard times. The roof was leaking badly and should have been replaced years ago. New leadership came to the SPCA in 2014, and Peterson Roofing was contacted to give a consultation , and a price on a new Roof.Karen Perrigo of Cuba, a CPA and an Attorney, was leading the efforts to help the SPCA turn around. She wrote a letter to Scott Peterson of Peterson Roofing ,seeking donations to help the SPCA with its deteriorated roof. Scott Peterson then forwarded the letter to his shingle supplier GAF Timberline Shingles. Through Scott Peterson's efforts GAF Timberline Shingles donated new shingles for the entire 11,000 square foot building's roof !Other business associates of Peterson Roofing also stepped up to the plate for the SPCA. Casella Waste offered to donate all the roll off containers needed to handle the tear off of the old roof shingles, and all the deteriorated plywood from the old roof deck. Don Close of Close's Lumber offered to pass along all the plywood for the new roof deck, and any other supplies needed for the SPCA roof job, at his cost.Mel Duggan of Duggan and Duggan General Contractors offered to do a walk through at the SPCA, and give us his opinion. After his walk through Mel Duggan stated that the roof replacement had to happen as soon as possible, every rain storm was damaging the building. Mel Duggan wrote the SPCA a letter stating his findings, and including a check for $1,000.00 to start a fund drive for the new roof, and another check for $200.00 to cover the postage for a mailing. That started the SPCA's "Raise the Woof" fundraiser drive. Mel Duggan challenged local businesses to match his $1,000. donation. The letter was sent out to the Greater Olean Chamber of Commerce members, and to the SPCA's donor list, and the donations started coming in right away.Another retired local business man and his wife had made a substantial donation to the SPCA to fund a HVAC system, when they heard Mel Duggan's recommendation, they graciously allowed their donation to be used toward the new roof.Finally in November 2015 the SPCA had the funding in place to replace the roof. Scott Peterson of Peterson Roofing was contacted, with winter fast approaching Peterson Roofing was booked solid with jobs already started. Scott Peterson knew the condition of the roof at the SPCA and he said they somehow would work it out to start soon.By January the crews of Peterson Roofing had the entire tear off of the old shingles and deteriorated plywood completed, installed a new plywood roof deck, and installed the ice and water shield . The SPCA roof was completely waterproof now. The shingles would have to wait until spring when the warmer weather returned, and that was fine.During the tear off it was found the soffit structure was badly deteriorated. Peterson Roofing rebuilt the entire soffit structure and installed new vented soffit, all at no additional cost to the SPCA. The siding in the large rear peak of the SPCA building was also deteriorated, and much of it missing. Peterson Roofing installed all new vinyl siding in the entire rear peak of the building, at no additional cost to the SPCA. And when the final bill came in from Peterson Roofing, they donated back to the SPCA over 20% of the cost of their labor to do the roof.This success story could not have happened without the leadership of Scott Peterson and the crews of Peterson Roofing, Mel Duggan of Duggan and Duggan General Contractors, Casella Waste, Don Close of Close's Lumber , and GAF Timberline Shingles, and the many , many donors to the SPCA's Raise the Woof fund drive.Great neighbors in a great community coming together for a worthy cause ! So prompt, so professional, and so friendly! I called them about the roof on the main house but asked them to have a look at some problems with the roof on a guest house. I thought they'd be bothered when I decided to postpone the bigger but less urgent fjob on the main house in order to do the smaller job on the guest house, but they didn't bat an eye. They even gave me a tip on what I could do between now and next year to minimize the chances of damage.I've been told that they are more expensive than some other places, but I thought their price was reasonable, and even if they're a little more, you can't beat the service.
