Great experience with John Hubler who we contracted to do roofing, siding and windows. We had some unique, charming features of our 1928-built home that it was important to us to preserve and we worked with Liz who appreciated our concern and ensured that our house maintained its original charm. We are very happy with the result. Additionally, their teams were professional and courteous and there ways alway great communication with Liz and other members of the company. I contracted John G. Hubler & Sons to perform some routine maintenance and additional repairs on my slate roof.Jim Hubler was friendly and efficient during the initial visual inspection and estimate. The roofing crew was thorough with their repair work and careful not to damage my house as they set their ladders. I really appreciated that they took photos of my roof before, during, and after their work, especially because the portion they worked on is not easily seen from ground level. Hubler recently did an outstanding job replacing my flat roof. No more water coming into my garage now!! Liz was also outstanding at replacing my old single pane windows. Her communication in the whole process was beyond exceptional. All the workers were beyond nice and professional. Will use Hubler for any other work we need in the future. I requested an estimate to replace gutters and received a quick response and visit, with a written estimate shortly thereafter. Two workmen showed up on day promised, and once I showed them the electrical outlet they could use, I was out of the picture. work was done quickly but with no mess and nothing for us to clean up. A pleasure to deal with Hubler.I recommend them for any homeowner's needs. The gutters look great.

Stay away from this company!!!! We paid them $4,800 for a chimney repair in April 2019 with a 10 year warranty. The problem was never corrected and my roof is still leaking. We have called them back multiple times with no satisfaction. The last visit here was December 8, 2020 where Jim Hubler looked at the problem and proceeded to curse me out with horrible vulgarities and asked me to come outside and fight. He has an anger management problem and should not be allowed in any customers' homes. Their contracts state they have a 10 year warranty on their work, don't believe it! I feel cheated. There are many other contractors in the area where I am sure you will not be subject to the verbal abuse I received as the customer.Service: Roof repair

Our central air conditioning unit leaked into our bedroom ceiling, so we needed to have the ceiling repaired. We went with Hubler because we knew there was a possibility the project could be more than just some spackling, reinforcing of the dry wall and painting. Turned out, the leak had damaged a good portion of the ceiling and ruined the insulation, so choosing Hubler for the construction proved to be a big help. Liz coordinated everything, staying in touch throughout the project, and Marden and his crew took care of taking down the old ceiling/insulation and putting up a new ceiling/insulation/painting with a quick turnaround, which we needed. He provided me with a free consultation and explained everything to me like a scientist. He did not try to sell me a roof, and did not and told me what my issue was and how to fix it. Very honest company. I thought I may need the roof replaced and had Jim come take a look. While other people told me the roof needs to be replaced, Jim told me I still have some good life left on the roof. He could have told me I had problems and needed a replacement but he was honest. I had other estimates from other companies tell me I needed a replacement without even going on top of the roof and inspecting it. Jim climbed the roof and inflected it, showing my photos and telling me what needs to be done (minor repairs/maintenance). Thank you for your honestly and not for trying to make money off of a customer.

They did good work. Installer was friendly and courteous. Took a while to get to my leaky roof repair. Salesman who did estimate was very knowledgeable, but is a jerk. If you can overlook him, they are good.

My roof is 30 years old. I thought I would be proactive and put new roof on. I read the reviews on Hubler and called them down for an estimate. Boy was I impressed. I was told my 30 year old roof was still good and I should call them back in 3 years. What honesty! I will call them back in 3 years.

We contacted John G. Hubler about a kitchen renovation. Liz came by and came up with some ideas and said she would contact us shortly with ideas and price points. We never heard from them again. I called them several times, not a word...that was about a month ago. Because of this I would be very wary of using them for my renovation.

The roof was old and probably in its last legs. I had a couple of quotes bit when my neighbor’s roof was replaced in one day by Hubler, i had to ask them for a price. I saved thousands. And it was done quicker than the others promised. I would use them again but probably won’t need to do anything for 50 years
