If I could rate 6 stars, I would. The windows are high quality. The craftsmen who installed them were top notch and the carpenter who did the trim was even better if that's possible. I asked for him to return to better weatherize our front door and a French door. Our home is noticeably warmer, I can open my windows at will and I can finally enjoy the view with the curtains open.

We were very pleased with Oaks Construction. Our siding installer was very professional and conscientious. Started at 8:00 and ended at 5:00. Lunch in his truck at 12:00, and back at work 12:20.Our house looks like a brand new home! Trim etc. Done beautifully. Need two little spots (strips) replaced over garage....then, all done!

In the process of selecting a roofing contractor, we diligently sought multiple quotes with the intention of ensuring a thorough and professional roofing experience. We were particularly drawn to Oaks Construction based on their promise, as communicated by their sales representative. We were assured of consistent communication throughout the project, meticulous site clean-up, collaboration with highly esteemed subcontractors, and a seamless roofing experience from start to finish.Unfortunately, our actual experience deviated significantly from these promises:Communication: Contrary to their commitment to keeping us in the loop, no representative or crew member notified us upon commencement of work. It was incumbent upon me to locate the project manager, the sole English-speaking individual on-site, to understand the process and our role.Timeliness: We were consistently informed that the job's completion was imminent. Yet, the crew did not finalize their tasks until after 8 p.m., making it a protracted affair.Site Clean-up: One of our primary concerns after the roofing job was the careless abandonment of roofing nails and other materials not only in our yard but also in our gutters and driveway. This posed potential safety hazards and was a stark contrast to the meticulous clean-up we were promised.Materials Management: After the job, roofing materials obstructed our driveway for several days. It necessitated further communication on our part to have them removed for basic driveway access. Moreover, upon observation, we noticed unused materials which were part of our original quote. While Oaks Construction adjusted the invoice to reflect this, they added another line item, resulting in an invoice that exceeded the original quote despite the decreased material usage.Post-Job Follow-up: We received multiple assurances that a team would return to address the clean-up issues, especially the scattered nails and materials. However, when a representative did arrive unannounced at 6 p.m., the clean-up was still inadequately addressed.In reflection, our engagement with Oaks Construction was fraught with challenges, leading me to believe that we could have potentially had a comparable, if not better, experience with another roofing contractor, potentially at a more economical rate. It's disheartening to witness such discrepancies in the roofing industry's service standards.Service: Roof installation

Oaks Construction did an amazing job repairing our porch that was completely destroyed when a driver drove into it. Dave, the project manager always returned our calls or text when we had questions. The guys and gal that worked on our home restored our porch to its original look. I added before and after photos. The photo with the bushes is before the reck. We have not replaced our bushes and mulch yet but the porch is beautiful and solid. We are extremely pleased with the outcome!

Had our roof replaced here in Webster and we used Oak’s construction for the job. We were very happy with the sales and quote process with Chad using modern techniques including a drone to photograph the roof to see the condition of the roof and details to look at. Also used an app that ,by taking pictures of the house by us , a 3D model could be made of the house that allowed accurate specs of the job such as square footage of the roof, dimensions of the roof, valley locations and length etc.Proposal/ contract information was provided online and signed online which was convenient.The whole job was done in one day, including full cleanup of everything. The team of Max and Jermaine ran a fantastic crew that were a well oiled machine that got to work right away and cranked all day. I had some plywood that had to be replaced in my 60 year old house and the team pointed it out and got it replaced quickly.Very well done.All the old roofing got put in the Oaks supplied dumpster in my driveway.The work area was cleaned up really well and the next day it is like nothing happened.In short, I highly recommend them.Ed Byrne

Called Oaks and within a week Connor showed up at our home to assess the cedar siding issue we had. Woodpeckers had "eaten" away the bottom of our siding next to the roof. Connor told us what he wanted to do, and we agreed. He immediately went to purchase the materials needed, and returned and did the job himself. Exactly what we wanted, as we are having the house painted and wanted this job done first. Connor was respectful, neat, and finished the job in a timely manner. All completed within a weeks time! Almost unheard of in today's business environment.

I've had the pleasure of hiring Oaks for several jobs, including new bath room, small jobs, big jobs including fixing a huge hole in my roof from a tree that fell, to this recent job on 3/12/24 where I had a complete roof tear off. Each time I'm always impressed with the quality of work and people that represent Oaks. A few names of people I hope to work with again include Max, Paco, Rob Moore, Diana Coleman, and others who remain nameless. I highly recommend Oaks!

Engaged Oaks to replace all windows, doors, trim, and siding on our home. Project came in on time and on budget. Most importantly, my wife is thrilled! Our home is beautiful! Quick response to my phone message, came after hours and that was a real surprise. After describing problem, a well explained quote was provided and an appointment was set for first thing Monday morning ( I called on Friday).Worker arrived early, did a quick check, we discussed options for fixing the problem. I requested the most up to date solution on the market instead of a more traditional repair. Worker had to go and get the parts as there were none on the truck. Returned shortly and facilitated the repair quickly.Price was within estimate even though I requested upgraded parts.Very happy with the service and repair so far, will know more after our next rain.

Thumbs up to Oaks Construction, a stress free experience.They were capable and competent and professional from start to finish. Although the project started with a materials delivery company mishap damaging a side door overhang. Tom Ledtke the project manager assured me and true to his word had the repair completed before project end. The door, platform and steps install was exceptional with no concerns. Clean up and status was communicated at the end of each day. Even a week later with a lock issue, Tom came out and did the quick fix. Thank you for a great job and would recommend their service to anyone who wants it done right.

Oaks Construction is owned by same guy who owns Graves Brothers and about 15 other businesses because he’s trying to run from bad reviews and monopolize the business. Hired them to fix a leak from a toilet that damaged ceiling in a room on the floor below. One guy came out and milked it so that it took 9 billable hours even though we had the drywall here for the repair already. In addition, the worker gouged my cork flooring with his ladder. When we complained to the owner, Kris Oakes, he was arrogant and did not stand behind repairing the damage to my floor or the overcharges for the repair! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Moved into our renovated house only to find none of our windows or sliding door installed properly. We now have water leaking from all windows and the sliding door which is ruining out flooring, trim, and who knows what else that we can't see. My warranty is magically not applicable anymore and they won't come and fix their terrible work. Avoid at all costs.

Do not use! Incredibly expensive and frustrating process. I hired them to replace my roof, as they had purchased the company I had previously used (AAA Best). I also had them do several interior projects with drywall repair/painting.They frequently didn't show up when scheduled. This was incredibly frustrating as I had to plan my work around them, and then they would fail to show.They broke a gutter, and it's an old house so these are historic copper gutters. Other gutters were bent out of shape. I had to contact them several times about fixing it. First they wanted to just slap some putty on it, but I told them that was unacceptable. Then six weeks later they sent a young guy with a welding torch, but he said the solder wouldn't hold and they would have to send someone else. No one else ever came. About two months later they started harassing me for the final payment; I kept trying to explain that they never finished fixing the gutter. First they claimed someone had been out on a certain date, but I have cameras so I could see no one had been there on that date. They just lie. They said they had photos confirming it was done, but the dates didn't match. They just lie. Eventually they acknowledged that no one else had come to repair it, but then they changed their tune and said the first guy had completed the repair. Every time we spoke they had a different story, none of which matched the facts.I gave up and finally paid them because I never want to deal with them again and I wouldn't trust them to repair anything at this point anyway; I'll just have to pay to repair it myself.When my regular fall gutter cleaner came, he said the gutters were chock full of shingles, nails, and trash. These guys do terrible work, don't stand by their work, and have extremely poor management of their process.I did like the husband and wife team who did the interior work, and he did great work, but it was far too expensive. He was really the only worker, when I was being charged $85/hr/worker for two workers. His wife was nice, but she really only assisted him with unskilled tasks like putting down tarps. When their work was done, Oaks tried to charge me for many more hours than they actually worked; I have cameras, so I could document when they arrived and left. I wouldn't have made an issue about a small discrepancy or rounding error, but they padded many more hours. These guys are just untrustworthy. Buyer beware!

After a tree fell on our house, Oaks Construction removed the tree the next day so a tarp could be laid over the openings to reduce further damage. Frankie Trigg explained the repair process and the expedited project timeline. He was personable, made me feel comfortable, and eased my worries about the disaster ruining our home. The onsite supervisor, Scott Miller, kept me informed of the work progress each day and walked through the completed project with me to be sure I was a satisfied customer.I appreciated the roofing crew's hard labor.The framing and fascia work team installed new outdoor lights for us, which was not part of our contract.The gutter team worked efficiently to complete the final phase of the job one week earlier than stated in the signed contract.Oaks Construction repaired framing and installed a new roof with new fascia and gutters.Whenever I pull into my driveway, I pause to admire my beautiful roof. It increased the value and appearance of our home tremendously. I appreciate the expertise and personalities of everyone from Oaks Construction that I had contact with. Oaks construction did a phenomenal job replacing my roof! During the installation of the new roof the on site Supervisor, Paul Dimick, and his crew were beyond amazing!!! Paul was so friendly and kept us informed about everything. Paul’s crew were polite and worked SO HARD and did a VERY thorough job with cleanup. My husband and I have been in our house over 20 years and this was BY FAR the best experience we’ve ever had with a home improvement company.

They far surpassed my expectations, and by wrapping the windows they all look brand new. My roof began to leak from issues involving the chimney flashing and some loose shingles. Oaks Construction was a joy to work with. They responded quickly and communicated well each step of the way.The roofer assigned did a great job. He communicated every step of the way, extremely polite, and respectful. He took pictures and made the repairs in a timely manner. Although I didn't have any spare shingles, he took the time to make the ones I approve blend in and look professionally done. He also went the extra step to use longer roofing nails to secure the loose shingles to prevent future wear. I really appreciated his time and effort. I've checked the roof on two severe storms and the leak has been fixed. I would highly recommend.

Workers who did the roof did an awesome job. White collar works not so much. When you say no I do not want the satellite dish back up to 2 different people and it still gets put up, incompetent human errors. I kept it up to be nice because of the rush to another job. 5% off when you write a check, 1st check no problem then the 2nd check they can not figure out 5% to added supplies and when they fix that for us they end up going 4.5% instead yeah accounting can not calculate %. All in all finished product looks great but get things written down cause they do not communicate well with each other.Service: Roof installation
