Clean SweepLast February I met withPaul DiScala owner of Clean Sweep Contracting Corp to repair house. My heating and plumbing pipes broke this past winter and damaged one side of my house. After speaking with many companies and contractors I decided to go with Paul. While speaking with Paul over the phone I realized there was something different about this fellow. I was absolutely right. When I met him in person for the estimate it confirmed my feelings. Paul is a good honest hardworking man of integrity. He is blessed with creative design. He had a vision for my house. I only wished I could have seen that vision from the start instead of seeing the money. I would have bought into that vision at the start instead of adding on as the work progressed.***Moreover Paul HANDLED ALL INSURANCE claims and got us DOUBLE THE MONEY the insurance company was offering me***Paul is patient kind and a pleasure to work with. I changed my mind so many times but he took it all with a smile. Whenever I’d call him he’d start laughing and say “what is it now Rose?” It was a quite an undertaking on an 1863 three-story house. Unexpected challenges kept popping up with the age of the house. But Paul covered everything under the original contract. The project took us from May to October. As I said I kept adding to the project.Paul is very painstaking and observant. He pays attention to the details. He cares about his clients. He notices when you are not thrilled about something. His end goal is to make you happy and to love the job he is doing for you.Everyone from Interior designers consultants realtors to friends have all complimented the work done by Paul and his team. I can not say enough about this company! They are top notch. We encountered a main pipe explosion in our home and was in desperate need of a water, restoration company, this was a daunting, expensive and emotional undertaking. These guys over at clean sweep are amazing. Paul worked with you every step of the way and guides you through the process from start to finish. Always available when we need advice or help. The staff at clean sweep performed an excellent job returning my home from a flooded basement to normal after a severe storm. We just had our entire basement was flooded. Paul and his crew did an amazing job on rebuilding our basement. Since this was a first home We did not know what to expect. On dealing with the insurance company. Paul and his crew were easy to work with. They redid the master bedroom in my house. It came out amazing, they fixed an albatross that I had in there. Paul repainted, put up a wall, installed electricity to different parts of the bedroom and put electricity into the partition wall he put up. He’s priced very fairly and he works quickly. He keeps you updated as to what’s going on. Extremely reliable, his crew are filled with a bunch of nice guys also. I couldn’t of asked for a better contractor, thank you guys. Clean Sweep transformed my builder grade 80s bathroom to a beautiful, luxurious bathroom straight from a hotel. I actually look forward to using my bathroom now. The workers were respectful of my home and covered up the floors with builder's paper. They thoroughly cleaned up after each day. They showed up on time. They were transparent about the work and addressed my concerns throughout the job. I requested a bidet seat that required an extra circuit and there were no issues with installation. Paul is also the nicest contractor I spoke to. His suggestions made our small bathroom feel bigger. We had a great experience with Clean Sweep. Our kitchen flooded and we decided we wanted to start from scratch. Paul, who designed our kitchen, was lovely to work with - always very responsive and prompt. We also renovated our bathroom.and our full upstairs entire level I can say with certainty that we would enthusiastically use paul and their team for any future work we need done. Clean Sweep Contracting was great to work with throughout my kitchen and bathroom remodel project. I live in a 100-year-old house, which basically means nothing is straight and the CSC team of contractors made sure that everything fit right/tight. It was a challenging job, but they were careful and meticulous. This work was outstanding. I hired another highly-rated contractor for a smaller job just prior to this one and was horribly disappointed.We are thrilled with our final results! Paul and his team were both exceptional to work with. Their honesty and integrity were displayed transparently from the first meeting through to our final wrap-up conversation. Great communication, craftsmanship, and quality, attention to detail, problem-solving, cleanliness, and respect for the customers they're doing business with! All of the cabinets look great, custom-built bench, plumbing, electrical, tile work, paint.... all of it really showed a level of pride in their process and work. Paul and his crew did a great job on my basement. It was flooded and I lost everything. They cleaned out the entire basement, scraped down the walls and water proofed/sealed them. During the whole process I was consulted and he checked on items he believed I may have overlooked and may have wanted. My wife and I are not well-to-do and had to be very careful in the selection and cost of a contractor to renovate our roughly 5' x 8' bathroom. Paul and his crew did an outstanding job. From demolition through repairs, construction and final cleanup Clean Sweep took every care to ensure that the areas around the bathroom were protected, and the work was first rate. George and Steve were true craftsmen, doing work and installing tile and fixtures that were properly configured and level. They would not stop until everything was right. Paul purchased a tub, toilet and sink/vanity combination that were superior to the ones I originally thought I would have had installed, all within the agreed-upon cost of the work. I purchased the faucet and shower set of my choice and the cost was deducted from the final payment. An unforeseen but serious problem - rotting wood in the window framing - was discovered after the demolition of the original bathroom. Paul showed the wood to me and clearly explained what had to be done. The repairs were performed immediately at a very small cost. Two cabinets in the kitchen had to be removed from the walls to ensure that the plumbing for the bathtub drain did not leak. These were replaced without damage when the work was done. Paul had Vinny tape paper to the floor and steps to protect them from damage, and he and Joe cleaned the work areas, floors and stairs after the work was done, even washing the balusters supporting the handrail. Overall my wife and I are extremely pleased with the completed work and final cost, and would not hesitate to have Clean Sweep come back for any future projects that may arise.

Clean sweep contracting did a fantastic job in our home we had water damage due to a pipe freezing overnight we found this company through a friend that used them in the past they had nothing but nice things to say about them. So, we reached out after sitting down and having a meeting we know we made the right choice we have very specific taste and we need to find a contractor who’s able to do custom work and boy did he deliver. From the cathedral ceilings to the decorative wainscoting we were truly amazed, he handled all of the insurance paperwork work hand-in-hand with our private adjuster. Our job ran smoothly and stood on budget I would definitely recommend this company.

We were thinking of remodeling our kitchens do bathrooms , for some time and looking for a professional company and found this company that took this challenging job of renovating the kitchen with the latest appliances and models. The kitchen layout was also done, more functional then what we had in the past The bathrooms came out amazing I can't say enough great things about Clean Sweep. My husband and I wanted a couple of walls taken down, a few decorative elements put up, and a new door put in. We hired Paul and his crew and together unearthed problems including broken beam and frayed wiring. We knew cost going in but we were floored by professionalism and atention to detail we got for our money. For instance, I decided I wanted a pantry done and it got done to order. Paul listens to his customers and comes in with ideas that address issues as well as aesthetics. So happy with finished results.

There a couple analogies I could use to describe Clean Sweep Contracting. Have you ever watched one of those dream house renovation reality shows? Well, that’s Paul and his Team. Paul himself isn’t just a contractor, and he doesn’t do “jobs”. He’s an artist and a perfectionist. He looks at the renovation he is about to do on your home as his next work of art. He will transform your home into something you never thought possible, using materials you never thought would be in your budget. He’s a master of construction, color coordination, and the latest trends- right down to the most minute detail. He’ll study your project, come up with a vision, and bring it together where your home will resemble something out of a magazine. Above all, after several conversations with him, you will come to realize that this man is all heart. Imagine for a second you hired your own father to renovate your home - that’s Paul. He’ll look out for you at every turn, and make sure everything is done right, safe, and look to minimize cost where he can, and beautify where it counts. As for his crew, these are not just day laborers. They are true craftsman, with the same expertise and attention to detail as Paul himself. They are like happy warriors, always smiling when you see them, and incredibly respectful of you and your home - yes, just like those dream renovation reality shows. To give you an idea where I’m coming from, Paul did a major renovation for my family. A 2 family 4000 square foot home on Staten Island - 1 kitchen, 3 full bathrooms (full demo) including complete bathroom redesign, all new wood flooring on the entire second level, sanding and refinishing wood flooring on the entire first level, replacing every door in the house (about 30 doors), sheetrocking the entire foyer and several other rooms that were covered in wallpaper, new ceilings with high hats in many rooms, moulding, crown moulding, base moulding, and wainscoting throughout the entire home, replace electrical throughout, and blowing out some rooms to make them larger. Paul is also an expert at redesigning your space and bathroom to make them handicapped friendly, as we needed to do with our apartment. His MO is the wainscoting. Give him the latitude, and Paul could make your home resemble something out of the Vatican. As for cost, I met with 2 other contractors before Paul. One was a bit higher, the other a bit lower, but after meeting Paul, there was no question in my mind. Paul was the expert I needed. I knew my wife and I couldn’t think of everything on our own. We needed help - and Paul is just like the guy you see in those dream renovation reality shows. The only thing you’ll have to keep in mind is, you should plan ahead to get Paul. His phone is ringing off the hook with repeat business from all the families he’s worked with before and their friends. He won’t do multiple jobs at one time. He explained to me over and over he needs to run each job himself, hands on every aspect of the project. I’m almost sad my renovation is over - which was completed 100% in an amazing short time frame considering all the work. Paul was such a great guy to have in your corner. Before we attempted this project, we didn’t know Paul at all. Now he’s a friend of the family.
