Their quote was reasonable and the estimated timing on job site was as promised. From start to finish I had excellent communication, picture updates, and final videos. Deck Master Home Improvement owned by Lou Guttman just completed a rebuild of our external staircase including total railing replacements across our back deck and the stairs. I worked with Lou from the beginning where he planned the project out and presented ideas. He scheduled our project and kept me updated on his start date. Lou’s team started the day that he committed and completed the project on-time.The scope of work on this job required a complete customized build requiring exacting measurements. The work was performed flawlessly using top of the line Trex products. His workers started every day at 8am and worked until 5pm every day, weather permitting. The final product is stunning and the workmanship second to none. His team was very efficient, clean and experts in their field. Lou was present every day providing updates to me and overseeing the work.I would highly recommend Deck Master for their quality workmanship and pride of work!

I am very happy with Deck Master Home Improvements in general and Edgar and his crew in particular and giving them 5+++ stars. I hired them to replace a very old wooden deck that was falling apart and was no longer safe for my little kids. From beginning to end Edgar was very professional and knowledgeable. He set our expectations on how long the work will take, he explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. We signed a contract that outlined exact cost and how much to pay at each step of the project, and he did not ask for a penny more like a lot of contractors often do. I had some questions about construction in the middle of the project, so Edgar came personally the very next morning and explained everything. Edgar’s crew was very hard working and professional, and thorough in their work. And at the end of each day Edgar personally came to make sure that everything was done perfectly. And they have completed the job in only 3 days. Andrey installed our deck around our new pool within 5 days. He arrived with one other employee promptly every morning to work. He was clean and professional. I just built a beautiful new home and the only thing that was missing was a "decked out" deck. There is noone I would have trusted with this job other than Deckmasters. I have worked with them on previous homes and they absolutely never disappoint. Andriy, the team lead worked tirelessly and relentlessly through terrible rain and cold weather to get this job done efficiently by the timeline promised. These guys are not your typical workers. Edgar just completed a 19'x10' deck with a trex railing in my yard in Staten Island. Edgar put up a very solid deck that will withstand big storms. All the wood used are single long pieces. The joists are all 12 inches on center with joist hangers on both ends. The beam is 3 ply 2x12 tied together with carriage bolts. The joists are connected to the beam with hurricane ties. The posts for the deck are 6x6 with a Simpson strong tie base connected to the footing with anchor bolts. There is border around the outside of the deck. The posts for the railing are 4x4 attached on the inside of the rim joist with carriage bolts. Edgar and his guys put up the deck in three days. I recently purchased a penthouse condo with exclusive access to the roof. I wanted an outdoor space I could relax and entertain with in the warm weather months. I found Deck Masters online and contacted them. Harry got back to me within a day. He looked at my space and offered me options that were within a budget I wanted to spend. Straight and honest conversation on how the project would go and the cost. I only had one side of the roof done. Lou came by to meet me and check on progress during the build. The end result was incredible! It looks great in the daytime and even better at night! Solid and sturdy construction through and through. Just in time for the warmer weather. When I’m ready to extend my deck, I’m definitely going to give them a call.

We had a 15 year old TREX deck which had begun to sag and separate, which no way should have happened! The boards were dipping in places ,stairs were sagging, and it just didn't feel safe. Neighbors had their decks built around the same time as ours by Deck Master and theirs are as beautiful today as the day they were done. So after hearing great things about Lou and Andre we hired them. We were so glad we did! They saw the issues that caused our problem with the original deck and corrected these issues with their expertise. They were always timely, extremely neat workers and started the job and completed on time. We love our new deck and highly recommend Deck Master.

The corner section of my fence got blown out in the last storm with severe winds - it was loose because of work I had done at the base that I never finished. Lou returned my call very quickly and had his guys out to my house right away. They did the work quickly and cleaned up any mess. Instead of charging me to replace the entire post, they did an excellent job of repairing the damage and they saved me a ton of money! I highly recommend Lou and his team from Deck Master. Btw, they built my deck over 10 years ago and people still think it's brand new! Great job!

Andriy and his whole Crew were excellent in every way. Rarely do contractors deliver exactly what they say they will deliver, but in this case Andriy did just that, even during a pandemic, when materials can get delayed and/or come in more expensive than expected. The final job looks great--we are completely satisfied, and also feel fortified by the 5-year guarantee on construction/25-year guarantee on Trex. Definitely will recommend this company--and Andriy specifically, since he went the extra distance, and was committed to doing the job right and to our specifications/wishes all along the way. Deck Master recently completed a Pressure Treated stairway to the beach for me in the the Daytona Beach area. This one replaced one that was wiped out by hurricane Ian. The workmanship was excellent and completed in one day. The company provided a Certificate of Liability Insurance and Certificate of Workers' Compensation Insurance.
