BEWARE OF THIS ROOFING COMPANY!I made the mistake of fully paying them upfront, only to be left with incomplete and shoddy work. Not only were they unprofessional, but the quality of their work was absolutely atrocious. It was clear they were more interested in playing the 'good guy' to drag out the process rather than actually completing the job. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

We had an amazing experience working with John and his team at Segelman Shaw (LetsBackyard). We were looking to have an operable pergola put in and had many issues with the town building department. John handled everything and ensured that we got exactly what we needed. Being in the time of Covid we did not have an opportunity to see one of the Temo pergolas in person, but I can say it FAR exceeded our expectations. My garage roof was in bad shape. Segelman Shaw crew efficiently stripped it down to the plywood, replaced boards where needed and did a great job with the new shingles. I was very happy with the results, especially with the care they took on the trim. Over all good service.

This was not a easy job. Repairing damaged aluminum siding and trim.But they did a really excellent job. Straightening out the siding and nailing it back to the house and replacing some of the trim where needed.All in all, great work.

For flashing roof and chimney leaks, we spoke to Everything Backyard and asked them to start the work at our place the earliest. The company asked us to wait for a week as they were busy with other projects. But when the company professionals visited out house and experienced that it needs an urgent treatment, they were kind enough to prioritize our work and arranged a special team to finish the work at out place as soon as they can. We were very impressed with the company managers for showering all the support at the time we needed it the most. Over the course of a few months we made many inquiries to get our old siding replaced. I can't tell you how many appointments didn't show or didn't get back to us or asked us to wait for weeks just to get an estimate.These guys got back to me in a day, provided an estimate in a couple of days, and scheduled the work efficiently and without drama.Our rep, David, was a a pleasure to deal with and the whole crew was respectful of our tiny yard and driveway. From the moment we first called about a replacement roof, to actually getting our new roof installed, we are happy to report a smooth, streamlined process throughout. David was extremely kind and patient during the replacement and was quick to address any and all questions we had. Segelman Shaw Roofing did a great job replacing our 20+ year old roof.The roof, like most this age, needed some work. Tiles/shingles were getting blown off and I suspected the recent rains maybe causing problems. The neighbors up the street had Segelman replace their roof and they said the price quote was competitive. I called John Lozon on a Sunday (leaving a message) and John called me back Monday. He said he would swing for an estimate and using a drone was able to get the info needed.I had the quote via e-mail that day. When I got back to John he was quick to put things in motion. Workers were out in less than two weeks. The crew was very polite, prompt, and cleaned up after themselves every day. We had to let one worker in the house as we replaced the metal chimney to our heater. He wore a mask and was in and out under ten minutes.Getting a new roof is like going to the dentist, it just has to be done. John made the process easier as he remained in touch and let me know if he saw or his worker saw any issues that needed to be addressed.I certainly would be happy to recommend them any time.

They did a very nice job with a roof replacement and minor repair of siding and roofing due to tree damage. The quotes for individual aspects were generally below others. The crew was hard working, respectful, and professional. Minor issues were dealt with quickly and responsively. The site manager was always available and coordinated things well. The job took a bit longer than anticipated (5 days relative to anticipated 2-3) but more due to diligence and detail oriented nature of the crew. Generally things were organized quite well and there were no changes/surprises with the final bill.

I had a fire that damaged the exterior of my house. It resulted all the front siding needing replacement. Segelman Shaw did a fantastic job in doing the work, and handling the insurance claim. After the work was done, there was no trace of trash or debris left behind. Segelman Shaw even sent around a foreman after the work was completed to make sure that all things were done correctly and button up any loose ends. I will call Segelman Shaw again without hesitation when I need roofing, siding, window or gutter work again. Thank you!
